That has just made me remember an extract from "Deep Breath" when The Doctor had a conversation with a tramp about The Doctor's face; the part about his eyebrows made me really laugh: Tramp: "I don't like it." The Doctor: "What?" Tramp: "Your face." The Doctor: "Well, I don't like it either. Well, it's all right up until the eyebrows. Then it just goes haywire. Look at the eyebrows. These are attack eyebrows. You could take bottle tops off with these." Tramp: "They are mighty eyebrows indeed, sir." The Doctor: "They're cross. They're crosser than the rest of my face. They're independently cross. They probably want to secede from the rest of my face and set up their own independent state of eyebrows."
I personally think Clara was better with 11 but I do think the combo of 12 and Clara is great especially his remarks about her face Series 8 has some great moments like 12’s criticism of Clara’s wide face and the comedy works so well I really love the egomania scene such a strange dynamic but I’m here for it
I think her and 11 were better as well but I’m biased since I’m a sucker for the doctor devolving romantic relationships with certain companions. I’m a number ten fan through and through which is why it’s hard to admit that the doctor should never be in that type of relationship considering his age and past experiences.
@@Ben-uw3qo tbh I don’t mind The Doctor having romantic feelings for people because with every incarnation is a new personality and view on life I’m an 11 guy and always will be but I’m just glad to still see the show on I’m really enjoying 15

@@shazampool529 I’m utterly and completely biased in my opinions about the “best doctor” because I grew up with Tennant so I clearly will always have childhood bias. Saying that though, Clara is maybe my favourite companion to date, it’s a shame her and 11 wasn’t fully explored. Oh well, 12 was a weird but worthy successor, no matter what anyone thinks about Capaldi’s time as the doctor, Heaven’s Sent is one of the best episodes of new who to date. Tbh he’s my least favourite out of the three (ten onwards) but that’s like comparing a script of gold to a sticky note of random ideas.
I read something about the twelfth doctor that I loved that went something along the lines of “The twelfth doctor is a character who has autism, in the way that he has low empathy, but an extremely high moral code.” I don’t think about him the same way I did before I read that
I loved Clara's character but i think she was even better with Matt Smith as the doctor. The rings of Akhaten. The time of the doctor. The day of the doctor. Trenzalore. And so many for that are so very good. This doctor and Clara had some really good episodes too tho.
Great duo. Moffat's later years of writing weren't the best but these and Michelle Gomez specifically made it amazing to watch. Too bad they didn't get a happy ending with Clara being killed. Would've been better if one of them left the other at least the possibility of a reunion would be there.

She was greatly improved in Series 8 and 9, but still think they should’ve kept Victorian Clara.
I loved them together as well, their comments towards each other are so hilarious.

I genuinely don't get the Clara hate. She & 11 were great & had tremendous chemistry. I'm on the Capaldi watch now & man 12 & her are even better.
