He seems to have very good people around him. Please keep him safe. He seems to be a lovely young man.
He is absolutely the first Carlos Alcaraz. He is a mix of Federer (forehand), Nadal (mentality, young Nadal like speed) Djokovic (cross court backhand , drop shots) and his own unique signature of lobs and drop shots. He is similar to all three but not the same because he is an attacking player with a semi western forehand unlike Roger who has a eastern grip. But the reality is he is a complete player and once his serve improves. 💥💥💥
Brilliant observations. Because he is also Spaniard, the unfair comparisons to Rafael are unavoidable, but he clearly is in his own league. I see alot of the big three in the way Carlos plays, but even more striking is how mature and thoughtful he plays on all surfaces. Definitely a shining new star has arrived. Time to enjoy this.

Im spaniard and we will miss Rafa Nadal greatly when he retires despite tha Carlos has already stole our hearts .
Don't know how anyone could miss Nadal or Djokovic. Even Federer with his beautiful game is not missed so much now that Alcaraz was able to fill that void. Alcaraz has much broader appeal internationally. Be honest, if he plays Nadal now, who do you root for? Old scowl or youthful exuberance?

Incredible tennis player and the fact that he aspires to Roger Federer game is in my opinion the best out of them all. Much less injuries mixing Power with grace sounds great.

I really hope so - that he can be like Nadal in the future minus several injuries. Physical injuries make one a loser in this sport.
So my perception that Alcaraz has features of both Nadal and Federer is now confirmed by Nadal and Alcaraz himself. I wish I could play tennis as well as I can analyze it.
It is an error to make comparisons. Alcaraz represents the welcome arrival of a new generation of tennis players. Some are more extroverted and have warm personalities. See the difference between the Spanish player and his Norvegian opponent. The question is how these newcomers will manage fame, money and adulation.
Carlos is the future of the Sport. To the commentator, if you are going to adventure into reporting Spanish names, please I beg you, learn how to pronounce it, even roughly. It is embarrassing to listen to your Spanish, it takes but 2 minutes to have someone to coach you. Please, honor the language.
Nobody is obligated in their own country to speak a perfect foreign language. In this country, we take people, particularly south American and Spanish people speaking horrible English. We don't even criticize since they are trying. Btw: Carlos Alcaraz will be a great tennis player.
@@goncalvespeloya When you assume the responsibility as a professional of reporting foreign piece and as a journalist you have an obligation to dedicate two minutes of your time on pronunciation. I am talking accentuation and pronunciation and not accent. That is your job as a reporter, it shows respect for your craft to do a two minute research on how to roughly pronounce Murcia. Do you speak any other language?
@@peperaphael4141 Para los no hispanohablantes es muy difícil el tema de la acentuación. No entienden la tilde y a veces ven palabras acentuadas y otras no. Además que para los que hablan inglés tienen la tentación de pronunciar todas las palabras como si fueran llanas. En el caso de Murcia se suma el problema del diptongo IA que complica más el tema, porque el no llevar tilde es síntoma de que es una palabra llana y por eso se acentúa en la U. Y por otro lado es una palabra con dos sílabas y no tres como pronuncia él, al ser un diptongo: Mur-cia. Y por último hay que conocer la regla de la acentuación en la que las palabras llanas que terminan en vocal no llevan tilde. Explícaselo eso a un angloparlante
@@cristinaravet3706, no les tienes que explicar nada. Los nombres de las personas es una cuestión de identidad. Carlos Alcaraz se llama así, no Carlos "Álcarasd". Basta con preguntarle al propio Carlitos, o a cualquier español que se tenga a mano, cómo se pronuncia ese apellido y tratar de imitar lo que le digan. A nadie le es exigible un buen acento en otro idioma, pero sí un respeto hacia la identidad de las personas y eso implica designarlas por su nombre, no por lo primero que se te viene a la cabeza cuando lo lees.
