True Fact: The T54 was followed by a T56 (120 mm gun) and the unbuilt T57 (155 mm gun). All three were to have autoloaders and oscillating turrets. But the T56 prototype had very slow turret traverse due to the heavy mass of the 120 mm gun, and wore out turret components at an unacceptable rate. This led to the T57's cancelation.
One of my favorite tanks! The biggest problem I have, if you don't pay attention and empty the 1rst stage ammo it take a LONG time to load that first shell in the drum, So you definitely wanna keep an eye on it
I very nearly got this thing last year but instead I got the Magach premium because they were removing it (and I like having what others don't😂) Sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice. Definitely don't hate the Magach but can't say I love it.
after the last big update the japan map.. on that site .. has a huge problem.. any airplane that goes or leaves the airport has no engine sound.. when you get on the hill front of you altitude.. you get the sound back.. just gaijob magic... amazing!

Not him but It'd just be a fat slow 1390 with marginally more armor. Pretty boring. If it had a 4 second reload I guess itd be a little interesting, but who knows what the fire rate was.
got this last year and it's a lot off un but i wish they gave it the APHE from the T29. OHHHHH that would be awesome if they did that. that'd be fun as the round still works nicely at that BR and have HEAT or APDS as a backup. sadly no. :(

What I'm more interested in the T42. The tank that was the bridge between the M46 & M47 Patton.
I haven't played War Thunder for almost a year, mainly because I was SO salty about the bonkers nerfs to APDS XD
You should play the T54E2 after this one just to see how much worse it is
Funny as Dollarplays made a video on both US T54s and the not auto loader has a way better and bouncy turret and auto loader is a glass cannon really
