Yes we had a Bessacar 572 MH loved it but was over 3 1/2 ton and when you get to a certain age it was change time now have a Bessacarr 565 with all the extras love it too

I love a motorhome but i agree with Lynn i do not like wet rooms! Wet Rooms are a deal breaker for me! I like to be self contained in my Caravan i do not like smelling other peoples breakfast in the communal Showers/ Toilettes i much prefer to use my facilities 'in private.
Loved the Caravan at the end, my dream layout would be End Bedroom Mid bathroom front Kitchen/Lounge

Choosing the vehicle of choice is and always should be a personal thing. It is what floats your boat and what you want to get from it. Tha last few weeks I have been out with a friend to choose his first motorhome to travel round with his son racing from March. He wants a used not new with a garage big enough for three mountain bikes and instead of me speaking he chose the vans he likes and we wrote down and later chatted about them. It was a major eye opener for him and made him look again. We visited Salop and found nothing we liked but a near by dealer has my last van on sale and it was dearer by six thousand pound than I paid new for it which also happened with a previous van I part Xed. Get a small panel van for Rob , then stick a caravan behind it for Lynn

Have you looked at a Consort Oslo? Has a garage, not huge but could add bike carrier to back, does not feel like a barn as U shape lounge, would need to ask them to put a tambour door instead of wood door so you did not need to worry about the shower curtain. Would be nimble if you are looking for something a bit shorter, it's 6.36 m long. You would need to make up the bed at night but there is storage under one side of lounge seat.

Your a great couple, down to earth not stuck up like some on here. And funny together as you creep round Lynn, telling her she looks nice and pretty. She is good on this with what she says, look at her little face sat at the back picking it to bits and Rob loves it. Keep it up and happy Holidays.

That Swife Escape was a top van, I like the shelf at the back makes good use of the space, I agree with Rob about the brackets for the bike racks, would be nice if they were hidden, see you soon 👍🏻

For us as well full time in our knaus sun i 900 leg its a motorhome that suits and electric bikes for transport when parked up lovin life 👍
At the end of the day it's down to what suits each individual the main thing is getting out and exploring and having fun.

Great vlog love these …swift escape loved it think it should be your next van ..but the best was to come the coachman what a cracking van we are obviously going to like that van because we love our buccaneer loads of room xx

Hello Rob and Lynn. Just watched your tour of motorhomes at Salop. Although you were taken with the last motorhome before the panel van, you made the exact comment I did in saying if you ever made the switch from a motorhome to a caravan it would have to be the Lusso 2. We had an Apache 632, four berth, two belts that we bought just over two years ago. Wife just could not get used to it. Transverse bed in the back which she never slept in. Always had to make the bed up in the front. Not much floor space and having three little Shih Tzu’s made it worse. I loved it. Only motorhome ive had but had to bite the bullet and revert back to a caravan. Happy wife, happy life and all that. Have to smile on the quiet when I sit in the Lusso and look at the room we have and the quality all round but try not to let her know she was right. 😂 Keep up the great work.

We have had caravans big motorhomes now a panel van and have spent six months in Spain with awning now we spend our 90 days in Spain and leave 3 rd of January Wishing you all the very best for Christmas and new year x

we've had an escape for a year now including a long trip to north spain and portugal.. an amazing van .... we used to have an autosleeper fairford (a brilliant panel van) .... but I love our escape there's more room and comfort (also we wild and stealth camp in london and other cities) .. go get it lynn!!

We are still caravanners but now have a fixed bed Swift got fed up with making beds up 😢.
Would love a motorhome at some point but also like having the car to use when away 😊. Maybe we just have to plan our trips differently or get a tow car 🤔.
Anyway whatever we all get to do what we love 😊.

It's interesting to see how the bed comes down. Fixed bed every day, plus a separate shower.
Then best til last the coachman. Although, I'd prefer fixed bed at the back for privacy in case you had someone staying with you. It's a heck of a size but like an apartment.
It's pros and cons between a caravan and motorhome.

We have a panel van with a lovely u shape lounge and a dog and have loads of room with a under slung water tank and gas tank

Another excellent video. Very surprised that you seem to be considering another Swift given all the issues you have had with your existing van, I know you say that all manufacturers are the same but I haven't found that to be the case. We may have been very lucky but our European built campervan has only had one problem in 30 months and that was a couple of loose screws on one of the top cupboard doors which I sorted myself.

I was chuckling at Lynne pointing out all the limitations of the panel van 😂 wed love to downsize but with 2 large dogs we’d be tripping over all the time. Im sure theres the perfect van out there for you.

The one we have on order is a jayco conquest , 4 berth ..basic price from $185,000 , if you want extras of course price goes up ..

I did like the swift escape its a very similar layout to my bailey approach but the rear lounge seats are very short (we'll for uss they are rob)I can only Just get my legs up on my van to watch TV,re., the panel van yes the bin was a waste of space if I don't see you before both have a fabulous Xmas 🎄 ❤❤

That Escape is interesting as they have put in some of the new Kontiki features into it . I am disappointed with the Alde heating as for 2023 they have removed the heat exchanger . So when you are driving it no longer heats the van with free heat from the engine . You have to use your gas . I did notice they include a shower duck board in the escape you looked around . Am thinking of making one for my 784 as I didn’t get one . Love the lounge space in that Escape .

We went panel van this year, sold my car as work from home so if I have to pop out I use the van. 6.3 m and we have 2 dogs 🐕. Plenty of room but you do have compromise.

I was getting worried at the start of this blog as I thought you was going to buy a new motorhome, sorry the panel van is a big no no from me, as you know I’ve got the Laser Xcel 875 (2023) and it was a toss up between the 875 and Lusso 2, and the 875 won as I’ve had aircon fitted and I’ve still saved a couple of Grand.
Rob & Lynn I think you should go with your heart and buy the Lusso 2.

OMG Lynn & Rob I loved that last Caravan! When you think about that all your missing Is the cab off a motorhome ,& the beauty of that is you would still have a car to run around in for shopping & the Caravan has loads of space for the dogs 🐕 & if you pulled it with a four by four car or range rover you still could pack your scooters in the back ! For just going on little trips like down a canal or to a beach etc , 🤔 Mmm ,I think your not going to find your dream motorhome but that Caravan I would if I could have that instead & have your freedom @ the same time where ever your site would be, & if you wanted to move on just hook up & go ! Wow that was bloody beautiful & the shower Rob ! You & Lynn could fit in that together it was massive bigger than what you have @ home in some cubicle showers, & the bedroom Wow , Kitchen Wow, living area as well Wow 👌 bang on you have a chalet on wheels or bungalow on wheels when you look @ some of our little bungalows around here ,Now thats worth the towing, it's bloody beautiful 😍 I am in love with that folks ❤ So motorhome or Chalet on steroids ???? That 674 is the exact same layout as the Kon-Tiki 774 we filmed at Todds. A tadge bit cheaper though 😊

Hey guys, we just ordered the Coachman Lusso 2, so really pleased you love it as much as we do, we like the freedom of a Caravan over a motorhome as you still have your car to drive and parking is easier when out and about, so when you are pitched up it's a bit like static .. but I know everyone has their own personal preferences and to be honest so long as we can get away and enjoy our Holiday's doesn't matter so long as it works for you, Have a fantastic Christmas and Happy New Year :)

We had a transverse bed in our Hymer all the way across and loved it. Also it meant there was a small garage. How can anyone reach that oven up there, very dangerous. Driving a motorhome when you are not very tall is not just a confidence thing. You have to be able to reach the peddles and everything.

Making up the beds each night gets annoying very quickly. We had it in our old van, I got fed up, so now we have two beds in the roof, which is fab!
Hmmm maybe, but we do know people who have got them and don’t mind, although I used to get fed up with doing it when the children were little
We only have a make up bed so we sleep singly.Just take the backs off the sofas and then we use single duvalays so all we have to do is spread them out simple.

HiRob and Lynn we had a Adria m/home for 5 years could not fault the adria side. FIAT not very good.we now have a ford transit custom 6 seater and a bai;ey 4 berth caravan tows like a dream can park it anywhere.would not go back to a m/home.Roger.
Hi roger Adria are loving vans but to be honest these days it doesn’t matter what make of van it is it’s going to have issues sadly 👍 regarding ford as long as as you are happy that’s brilliant but I’ve had a bad experience with them 👍 thanks for your comment it’s appreciated
Interesting to see all the vans but can you please include the maximum weight. Very important if you don't have C1 licence or over 70 and C1 licence has been removed.

Good evening we live in how’re van full time we have a swift challenger 850 x it a 2022 just had a new alde boiler in under warranty if we change it we would go for the swift grands 635 but we have the warranty work done we don’t want to go through it all again
