    Thanks once again for sharing your business, knowledge and experience with us. You are one of the very few. That responds to comments. Some just want the following, but never take the time to interact with us. I love seeing how you bring on new business owners and train them on site. Big praises! Each one Teach one! Some people feel threatened by just sharing knowledge with new PW owners. The pie is BIG enough for everyone. It's why your business will always thrive and be BLESSED!!!

      I agree 100% brother. I felt a little disgusted honestly. I'll never be too big to help someone out.

    I love watching your videos so much! I actually went out and purchased a big pressure cleaner from Lowes, the 4400 PSI one. I purchased the Whisper 20 inch surface cleaner, I have yet to buy a ball valve, the original pressure hose that comes with the machine is total GARBAGE! I wanted to mimic your videos at my home for fun, my house came out excellent. Now I have my neighbors asking me how much I would charge them to do theirs. I will be honest, you make it look so easy, the SH is expensive, the time and equipment is not cheap. The sun in Florida is unforgivng for those that work in front of a desk. I have a full time job, and I had to take an extra day off to recover from my Sunburn.😂 after pressure cleaning my house on my day off. My wife found it hilarious. I'm going to buy all the best equipment you advise for a soft wash system. Keep up the fun videos, my wife and I really enjoy them.

      Thanks for sharing. That is so awesome! To do this job 1st one must truly enjoy it because it is very taxing on the body. As far a soft wash system I would with this one. Only downside is you will obviously need a tank and hose reel.

    Does the sealer make the surface slick?
    Is the sealer permanent, If not how often should it be re-applied?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  2 года назад +1

      Thanks brother. No the sealer isn't slick at all. That's a major plus for it. Also it's not permanent typically it last 2-3 years. Another great thing about this sealer is it doesn't need to be stripped. Next time I seal it I can just clean and add another layer on top.

    How do you avoid getting sand in the pool

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  7 месяцев назад

      Thats impossible. Thats the same as customers asking if dirty water will get in the pool when cleaning a pool cage lol Its not that serious to be worrying about stuff like that when the pool has a vacuum to clean it when debris and sand get in there. Or a pool cleaning service can also be scheduled for cheap.

    How critical is it to avoid blowing sand into the pool? Will it gunk up or just dissipate? Thanks

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  3 месяца назад +1

      Silica sand will not harm the pool. I would advise not getting polymeric sand in the pool as it hardens when it comes in contact with water.

    How do you figure how much sand it will take to re sand the pavers after you clean? Is there a formula you use per square foot?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  Год назад

      There is but I just always bring more than I need to be safe cause each job is different. Some pavers have bigger joints and require more sand that others. so i bring an extra bag than I need to be safe. I dont need to be right on point when it comes to that.

    I’m a pool guy and I was wondering I was wanting to offer the service to my customers here in the near future what’s the name of that sprayer? Where do I buy one and how do you estimate how much the job is going to be in what you’re going to charge the customer

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  2 месяца назад

      On this video I had made that sprayer myself. But that was years ago. Nowadays I use this sprayer below. In the description there's the info to order one.
      Paver sealing is estimated by square footage. And your price per sq ft will include the cost for materials and labor. That price can range from $1-5 a sq ft depending on your market or even the details of the job.

      I've only done pavers. Concrete pool deck is the same process but you'll have to use a roller on it cause you'll have some puddles. Pretty easy still. Just work in section, spray then roll, and move to the next section.

      I know you asked Clifford but I just wanted to say, it happens to us all man. A lot of “on the job” training in this field. Here are some tips. 1. If you’re having a hard time with normal stains & down streaming, start putting your down stream hose directly into the SH & draw 2%. Don’t be scared of SH. Think of it as chlorine, because well, it is. Soak all plants before & after work & you’ll be fine. Clifford’s videos are a prime example. He’s running 3,4,5% all the time and doesn’t even flench. If you find the 2% helps, get a soft wash system asap. You’re work will turn out better, guaranteed, with a soft wash system regulating your chemicals. Plus bleach will destroy your high pressure hoses, fittings, down stream injector, basically everything related to the pressure washer & it’ll do it quickly. 2: With that said, we work with high pressure, plumbing, water, & chemicals. Stuff is going to break (a lot.) If your problem is parts failing then make sure your charging enough to afford spare parts to fix stuff when it breaks. And, once again, get a soft wash system. Only using your pressure washer for concrete & rinsing will save you a lot of money in the long run. 3. Pro tip- Avoid dark hardy board at all cost till you know what to look for. If you put SH on a dark green hardy board home painted with Sherwood Williams paint, you can kiss your business goodbye. If you don’t have insurance you’ll be paying to repaint the home. To add to this, avoid over pleasing people by taking on oxidation removal, paint removal & other miscellaneous jobs & focus on perfecting your house wash instead until you’re comfortable. Don’t get discouraged. Anytime something goes wrong, instead of getting mad, think about how to fix it for next time. Get a CRM, LIKE RIGHT NOW!, if you don’t have one. Lastly, work on marketing. My biggest mistake when starting was trying to learn everything I could about the cleaning process and I didn’t focus on marketing at all. Well it doesn’t matter how good you are, if you don’t have customers, you’re not in business. I learned this the hard way. Think about it like this. If you want $900 days & you’re average job is $300 then you’ll need 3 new customers a day or 72 customers a month!!!! (Based on 24 days.) Take into account closing rate & you basically need 100 leads every month. Now that you understand the importance of marketing in this business, get on it!! Perhaps you’re already doing some of this stuff & I know this is a long post but I want to help. I almost gave up my first year and it was stressful. I didn’t sleep some nights. My problem at the time, marketing. Lead generation, marketing, sales, invoicing, follow ups, how you quote, all of these things are the MOST important thing you can learn as a new business owner. Hope this helps! Believe in yourself & you’ll succeed. & pay attention to Clifford when he talks about SH values! Very few people on RUclips are doing it like Clifford & that’s why he has 250+ 5 star reviews on his business page!
