Yes. He should show up, answer the debate questions, answer any followup questions, etc. It'll be more like an interview at that point, but he *is* reapplying for the job of POTUS, and it would be good to let the American people hear his answers. Calling the debate rigged because of the stated conditions is just stupid. These rules apply to both participants and they would not be necessary if everyone just conformed to the rules of normal, civilized conversation. Having only one of the participants speak at a given moment is too hard for Trump to swallow because he does not have the patience to hear someone out without grimacing, making noises and interrupting in general.
I don't expect the debate to happen, Trump would not have the slightest chance, so he will find a pretense. Maybe he can violate his gag order a few more times...
