  • Hey guys! Thanks for staying tuned and keeping up on my videos! We got a ton done in todays video, and I apologize that its so long. Just a ton of content and good information to put out! We got pretty much all of the internals done in this video, as well as some of the external engine parts. We also received our package with the new front support panel and a few seals for the transmission and rear axle.
If you liked the video give it a like, and please consider subscribing for more videos! I upload roughly once a week, so there's always a new video to look forward too in this rebuild!
Once the MGA is completely finished, I have two more cars lined up, so it won't end there! Again, thanks for watching, and we'll catch you in the next one!

I really enjoy your videos. They are very informative. I also appreciate how well organized your shop is. I have a little tip for you and all of your viewers. You were spot on doing a leak test on the seating of your valves. Even if a shop does your heads, you should check the sealing of the valves (I've been burned by a machine shop with an excellent reputation). Instead of using a spray carb cleaner, I poured a couple ounces of fuel system cleaner into each of the ports. You just want to make sure that the head is positioned so that the entire circumference of each valve is totally submerged in fluid. I would leave it overnight. If your valves are nice and sealed there should be no trace of fluid in the combustion chamber. If there is, just regrind. It's never good if you have any leakage at the valves because you will have a pressurized force working against the natural intake aspiration of the engine choking out your potential power.

Very nice video, you are going quite fast in this project, that’s great. I enjoyed your homemade valves lapping with integrated turbo. 👌

Are you going to assemble the sheet metal on the car? I’ve seen several youtube videos regarding restoration, they said fitting the sheet metal is the the most critical part regarding the MGA.
