Very understandable emotions. It's very difficult for people outside aviation to comprehend what it means to fulfill goals/dreams like this for pilots, and what kind of work goes into it all. Amazing experience and thanks for sharing.
das brauchst du wahrscheinlich nicht von mir gesagt bekommen, aber es ist voll in Ordnung und verständlich, dass man emotional wird bei bzw. nach so etwas. Ich sag eh jedes Mal wenn wir uns sehen, wie schön ich es finde, dass du deine Träume verwirklichen kannst. :)

Grossartiges Video - da kommen ja einem schon beim Beobachten deiner Emotionen die Tränen. Toll gemacht. Obwohl ich leider nur am MSFS- oder P3D-Simulator fliege, fühlt man es selber, welche Anstrengungen und Konzentration bei diesem Flug gebraucht werden. Und dass man dann vor 150.000 Zuschauer nach erfolgreicher Arbeit so emotional reagiert, ist doch klar. Schau mir gerade einige RUclips-Videos von Deinen/Euren Ferry-Flights nach London/Ont. an. Große Klasse. Und wenn ich Zeit habe, sitze ich am Abend vorm PC und fliege die Routen nach. Danke, dass du mich mitleben lasst. Gruß aus Steyr Thomas
Congratulations Micke (and team). What an excellent demonstration, your passion is very evident, even without the tears. You are a perfect ambassador for Diamond Aircraft. As a pilot myself, I completely understand the emotions every pilot feels. You need to start the wheels turning to get a similar Diamond demonstration at next year's London International Airshow. I am from London, and would love to see you here! Every time I drive by the plant, I look to see if there might be a plane on the apron that you just ferried here. Micke, that was AMAZING! Thank you for sharing this. Moments like these are why Aviation is so amazing. As a pilot myself, I was holding my breath during the display and that sigh of relief as you taxied in after, I did the same! Kudos to you and the team. It was lovely to watch!

Thanks! I think the video was emotional way before you started to be emotional in it. There is something about formation, the focus, the mutual trust, the sight of 2-3 beautiful and complex machines flying close together. Thank you! And do not shy away from sharing these type of emotions.

Nice - Were you in Kangerlussuaq today ? Was returning back to Nuuk today from Ilulissat/BGJN, and was sitting in jumpseat on one of Air Greenlands Dash8´s. I was prettysure, i heard your voice on the tower freq in Kangerlussuaq.

@@MickeLang Yeah - I was on my way home to Nuuk after a biz trip to BGSS, BGAA and BGJN. And boarding the Air Greenland flight in Ilulissat, the captain asked me if i would join them in the cockpit on the ride down to kangerlussuaq.. But of cause, so that is why i recognised your voice on the TWR frequency. Hope you had a great flight to i guess Iqaluit ?

Thanks Pavel! That was coming because I had the power levers under 20% and the gear is not down, then it gives you the “check gear” audio😊
@@MickeLang i see, it sort of detects “landing configuration” - i guess it also takes into account the altitude, right?

@@MickeLang I believe flaps were retracted, so…. Configuration then includes engine setting… and….?
@@skribtsov if you select flaps landing and gear is not down you get the warning, when you put the power under 20% and gear is not down you get it as well. This is how the system works
