I’ve been thinking of a tracker with my upcoming move to a new house that doesn’t have a garage to store my PCX. Watching this has just tipped it for me, thanks for sharing!

You can - but it will drain the battery as it’ll keep tracking until the fob is near the tracker again. It will alert you if the bike is moved - it’s sensitive enough to know if my bike is tilted on its stand in my drive. It’s not really designed to be an on demand tracker.
Great device but one watch out for riders here in the U.S. is that it is a 3G cellular device and the major carriers here in the states are in the process of getting ready to retire their 3G networks which would unfortunately bring the Monimoto to its end of life much quicker than expected. Hopefully an updated unit gets released to run on 4G soon.
I bought one very pleased with the device ,although my batteries are only lasting about 6 months ,but it has been very cold which seemed to trigger the battery alerts so good tip would be to keep some spare batteries for both the device and the key fob Saves on sleepless nights whilst waiting for Batteries .there may be Discount codes if you search around the internet , as i Mentioned the Missenden Flyer witch gave me 10% of the purchase price
Awesome work! Money off always a bonus. Yeah could be how often any alerts go off draining it too. I find it’s been fine. But mostly isn’t that cold. And in my PCX was probably quite well insulated. If there isn’t any signal then it’ll not be able to ping you the location. But traditional trackers would lose their GPS signal too - so I don’t think that’s a problem over any other tracker. I would say if you were alerted it was stolen - with live tracking you’d likely be able to follow it before it stopped pinging or follow it to a lockup etc.

Haha just spotted it! Mental. That’s more than I paid new! 😂😂😂 will make an ideal first bike for someone at least they know it’s been looked after.

What if there’s no phone signal ?
If there isn’t any signal then it’ll not be able to ping you the location. But traditional trackers would lose their GPS signal too - so I don’t think that’s a problem over any other tracker.

Does this have a motion sensor that sends an alert if someone jostles or stands up my bike or is it only alerted if it starts moving on GPS?
It’s quite sensitive - if someone has moved my bike to get past it normally detects that and rings me. It certainly hasn’t let me down yet.
