This was incredible! I dropped in after Ragnar posted his Aconcagua video and mentioned you. I work in Localization and I NEVER thought I'd see something like this. I'm happy to stick to my .json files.

Incredible. This is inspiring!! It makes me feel like similar (but easier) tasks are actually within reach for someone like me.

Incredible work, absolutely wild you managed to pull this off and the obstacles look like big head scratches from this video so good on ya for puzzling through it! This is a gift to the gaming community at large, and I hope you get a patreon surge from this. Would be well deserved.

Thank you for this presentation. It's always nice to hear a talented developer explain, how he solved a difficult problem

Pretty interesting video. I wonder if all that knowledge adds up eventually. As in a future project you might go "oh this is kinda similar to what happened in Aconcagua" for example, or if every project is like opening a brand new pandora box.
    Good stuff, Hilltop.

This series is great, every game is diffrent and requires diffrent ways to hack in order to translate, the more methods people share the easier it's going to be to inredouce others to this world of romhacking

if you don't understand the 4bpp image font with 4 1bpp images inside, imagine a 7(8, 10, 32, ecc...)-segment display, with every combination of on or off segments compose different numbers and simbols.
