I lived up here in the late 70's and remember that four unit set of cab units rolling down the M&P one sunny day . They are pictured at 1:18 . Man , I miss the Milwaukee Road !!
Makes your eyes well up in tears! So thankful for you putting this together. We all had no idea how lucky we were growing up (anywhere), along the Milwaukee. I called the 5th Sub to GRB by “ My Line”! I am certainly grateful I had no idea how soon it would all be gone!
Great video. Thanks for posting it. I don’t remember any FP45s in Madison. Cool to see #5. Used to love chasing the beater GP units of the IC and MILW around town.
I like the song, miss the MILWAUKEE ROAD

love the wide vision Milwaukee caboose thanks for sharing.
Very nice! Great pics of my hometown in Madison. Spent hours at the yard along with the Illinois Central in the 70’s!

Awesome man!
Nice! Make more of these videos.
Love it! Any Spring Green shots? I grew up there.
Man, the MILW wasn't really big on their roadbeds.
One of the big things that killed them in the west. Can’t run very fast on rotten ties and mine pit tailings.
2:29 a pooch and bilevels. So rare to catch.
