The windshear is starting to do a number on that storm. Getting weaker and larger. Probably won't stay as a hurricane on the Atlantic side. Hoping for a weak as possible landfall and least populated area possible, Stay safe down there.

Ike at cat 2 blew down more houses and Harvey a cat 4 destroyed my house on mustang island with gusts to 150+. Narrative is global warming = bad storms. There has been a lot of hurricanes over the decades that were much more powerful than these 2

We've had multiple tornados all afternoon on Florida's east coast. It's not just storm surge with these storms.
It's incredible that y'all are experiencing more violent weather from this hurricane than we here in North Port on the West Coast.
Of course not if you are opposite the storm coast entry..I'm in Lauderdale and only have small gusty winds..very little rain..

It's spinning off tornados on the eastern side in the rain bands. It's not weak.
