Discovering Tree Ferns in Peru

College students at The School for Field Studies (SFS) program in the Andes-Amazon region of southeastern Peru are conducting research on the tree fern: a conspicuous and charismatic plant with medicinal properties.

I would love to get some spore from you guys. The Nephelia species and also the sub species of spaeropteris look amazing. I have grown over 80 species in some genera over the years but spore is very difficult to get.

Has climate change affected the growth? All very well spending time and money looking at distant possibilities. Look at preserving and expanding what you have now!!
