Remco Hendrix is such a unique player, he drops the coolest chops.
I don't get the joke
I agree. His style is very unique. I love it. I think thats the first time I've actually seen his face in a vid.
He showed his face
Wojtek Pilichowski, clearly the best!
There is no best ...music is not a competition..all are great and have something musically unique to offer rather there playing styles and abilities..being less or more...the battle of the bands ...whom'$s best or better at this or that...music is not a war ..nor is it some kind of game to win ...it is not a competition... and musician's ..well there's just as many none flashy none showing off famous musician's as there are ..flashy show off look at me ..look what i can do type famous musicians..all are good ..my favorites are the none show off..none competitive...cause they're truly playing for the love of music...and that's how it should be ..rather one may find what they have to offer good or not ...
Larry Rivers you are totally right , but It’s also his taste, so you don’t have to persuade him with your opinion If you want to embrace whole differences within music space. :-)
I agreed. Wojtek just 'rozpierdolił system' with his solo :V but maybe I'm not objective because I'm from Poland :D
Martin G i was thinkin the same thing
I prefer Hadrien Feraud

+BassTheWorld.com Absolutely
+BassTheWorld.com I wanna join too!
+BassTheWorld.com I wanna join!
+BassTheWorld.com Hadrien Feraud is FRENCH and NOT AMERICAN !
+Lucas Vezirian Lives in America though.
Man that yellow Telicaster bass that the 3rd guy is playing is a beautiful thing! haha
Miles Williams you got that right. I was admiring it myself. What a gorgeous bass. I just ordered the Epiphone Jack Casady signature bass and I'll be paying on that for a while but the next one will definitely (maybe) be a yellow Telecaster bass.
djspliff26 Jack Casady basses are pretty rad also. I only have a musicman stingray right now, but it does me well.
Miles Williams yes man
The Musicman Stingray is a classic! Right now I'm using an Orange "O" Bass. I quite like it as well. It's great for Rock and Roll or Motown-like R and B.
DUSTY HILL (: (: (:
The most impressive is Junior Braguinha. His playing skills and melodic concept is just outstanding.
This is Uli Lauterbach. Gregor, thank you for inviting me to this and all your hard work to make this happen. So much fun watching basses gone wild :)
Junior Braguiha , Representand O Baixo Brasileiro , show de bola!
That harmonic bend Wojtek Pilichowski did was actually so goddamn cool especially with the ghost note triplet right before it.
Thanks Gregor !! It was a pleasure to be part of this awesome video :)
+Bruno Tauzin thanks for participating, Bruno! and this bass sounds amazing. Finally hooked me to try some slab body p-basses :)
Thank you again Gregor, it was great to be part of this! Everyone sounds great, and you did a fantastic job putting it all together...; )
Love this series!
Junior from Brazil wins this round of Bass-Face by a country mile!
I love it that HazE from Germany is playing a Squier PBass. He sounds great! So much for the mega-bucks rigs......
Fretless Frizz gave this video such a nice edge - no shredding/insane licks, just a mask and lots of distortion! That takes some cohones! :)
Honestly wasn't a fan but yeah cohones indeed
That was an insanely trippy/ syncopated groove from Viktor Lorincz!
For me Jayme Lewis (4:56) USA had that "it" factor. Just a stank sense of groove and timing that pulled me in. Loved it!
2:35 damn i didn't know liam neeson was such a good bass player
Techno's Dutch Oven hahahahha you deserve more likes
Bruh everyone says that about hi! there are a few more videos of him on RUclips and there's always someone who says it! Every time I read it it becomes more clear
That's Harrison Ford
That's right Bruno Tauzin ... Thanx Gregor for also letting me be a part of this Video ... we must not forget the man who made this a possible Gregor Fris ... :-)
Junior Braguinha, he's amazing!
Adam Ben Ezra and Nenad Vasilic are both so awesome, great to see some upright love in the video! Jayme, Bruno and Hadrien all killed it too. Really enjoying these chops videos, can't wait for more!
+Chris Bevan Thank you Chris!
That Evan Marien groove was so freaking cool
We need a 10 hour version...
ruclips.net/video/jQK3ly40Kmw/видео.html
... or simply the composition it is part of :D
Christine Lanusse is definitely my favorite...BY FAR !
Nice to see some "less known" artist ! Nice work as usual ! ;)
Ezra from Israel with that double bass.... LOVE! That was such a cool little groove he had goin on. Wasn't as complex as some of the others, I just loved how it felt. Does anyone know if there's a longer version of that or if it was just for the video?
All these clips were recorded for this video only. But Adam has plenty if awesome stuff on our channel. Check it out!
I love the variety of styles and the level of artistry. Bass is truly funky from acoustic to electric and all those things in between. Thanks for the inspiration. Funk is international!
Wow.. so enjoyable. Thank-you for spot lighting these musicians!
what an absolute OUTSTANDING plethora of talent in one upload!
my god it is an absolute pleasure to see such talent, thank you ALL
and thank you uploader.
Playing bass with a pick and still sounding like a bassist is a talent 👍🏼
Adam Ben Ezra of Israel and Junior Ribeiro Braguinha Lotad of Brazil were my favorite. But everyone was amazing.
Search for Pipoquinha. He's amazing too. Another brazilian bassist
Fantastic video!
This is one of the rare occurances where Remco Hendrix shows his face while playing his crazy licks!
not only i enjoy the talent and skills of these musicians but also the beautiful basses displayed on these videos
Adam Ben Ezra for the win by bringing an upright bass to an electric bass battle and absolutely slaying it!!!
I really enjoyed Wojtek, especially for that neck bend. I have not seen one used genuinely in a chop, line, or anything until I saw him. and I love it
Seeing all these crazy basses kind of freaks me out and it's relieving to see standard four strings.
Sound of Eric Czar literally mesmerized me!
Show de bola. Participação de um brazuca e de uma Alemã que tocou música brasileira. Muito bom ver a diversidade que o Baixo proporciona. Parabéns a todos! =)
Loads of bass talent all around this great world. fantastic.
Absolutely amazing , thanks for sharing !!!
Pilichowski!
Lőrincz Viktor, and Grzegorz Kosiński are the best!
1:11-1:28
TEACH ME THIS RIFF!!!
Bar Goldstein play it in slomotion i learned it like that
holy shit victor's technique is flawless and jayme had a great feel to his chops, I am a bass player myself and I can tell both of you have great passion for what you do, keep it up
Some really good stuff in there, Andy Saxton and Grzegorz Kosiński are my favorites! But no Aram Bedrosian? I'm surprised that he isn't part of this or the last video
He is...
TommyLeeDepp I can't find the video that Grzegorz clip is from
That fretless 7 strings is spectacular. Not to mention the 5 strings double bass
I literally replayed like 30 times Evan Marien's part its sooooo good
Grande Braguinha! Finalmente um brasileiro. Convidem outros brasileiros.
É nois Br
Se o mestre Nico estivesse entre nós, iria se destacar entre todos esses monstros!
Nico would be a level higher. Nico seria um nível maior! Saudades!
Braguinha é mito!
1:46 The master of solo double bass!!!
I love that bassists don't feel the need to "shred" to express themselves!
I'm a guitar play and I love and respect the bass chops and grooves everyone displayed :)
I love it how everyone has got their own voice on the bass great to watch for inspiration.
Another great compilation!! :D Great job dude!! I can't wait for episode 3 :)
Whoah, you got more of those? Awesome, looking forward to ep. 3
Wojtek amd Shob have always been favorites of mine. but with each new clip my smile just git wider and wider. : D
My man Pilichowski! \m/
Yes...you're also right....i agree...lets just all enjoy and appreciate all kinds of music...i thank you for your comments...
Wojtek Pilichowski completely obliterated it! SICK!
You meant Harrison Ford, didn't you? Or was it Liam Neeson?
Junior Ribeiro Braguinha Lotad ...... this guy got groove and chops for days.
Am a fan
Brunos sound and groove made it for me!!
Talented group of people. THanx 4 sharing
yeah. Great work Gregor and feels so good to be mentioned amongst these überplayers.
HAZEofBASS your groove was soooooo sick! So chill & pocket ( killer beard too )
@@n10tan1gam1 thanks man. The beard is long now....
Nothing sounds as good as an Upright Bass. Organic 👌🏿
I think we're getting lots of Bass players wishing they were Guitar players. Lots of chords and solos 🤔
Kidding 😁
Badila's Bass tone 👌🏿🔥
Jayme Lewis technique looks so precise i had to watch it a few times
Woo remco killin it!
+XboxSkateVids his groove is OOO:
+Judah Yumul I think all his grooves are OOO:
XboxSkateVids IKR BRUH.
+XboxSkateVids he is like claypool and jacos lost son
game zhark Pretty much hahaha, with dreads! But seriously, I hear a shit load of claypool influence in his style haha
damn from 4:25 to 4:55 was so groovy, i had that stank face on for HazE
An example of "I am one with the universe and I am at the center of it".
Another all-star cast, another great video! Can't wait to see Hadrien on the 6th of November :)
A hunk of funk and a groove take makes ya move!!! And the up side down!!!
MY GOD! What a perfect tone of the Armin Metz's fender!
Hau Bass e ae hau ta perdido aqui kkk só tem fera no video...
I was thinking the same thing, absolutely beautiful.
Gostei de ver o Braguinha representando :D
Nice continuation of the first part to Got Bass Chops.
Awesome compilation! Jay-Tee Teterissa got me with that huge slap tone...
I love this format
Wojtek Pilichowski... just WOW !
These guys are all so awesome and amazing. Very inspiring.
never heard of Jayme Lewis before. i'm very impressed, he sounds amazing
thanks dude!
Cheers Gregor! It's awesome playing alongside such talented musicians! All the best, Andy
Hey Andy, your chop was something else! What song was it, I can't seem to find it anywhere! I know it's one you made probably :P
+Ally Maitland This is a new idea I did just for this video. I might finish it off now that I have some interest :)
Definitely, it's probably the best bass chop I've ever heard, and definitely one for me to drum along to! :D
+Ally Maitland Thank you very much Ally :) in that case I think I will turn it into a song :)
I can't wait! :D
Überlike! A lot of amazing talents! 6 minutes of joy!
this is awesome.. very cool seeing fellow Bass players tear it up
All they are greats! God bless the bass!
4:40 that bass sounds so muddled that I think it was actually made in a swamp.
Remco's the badass. Been watching him for years. A squire? Hey sounds great to me. That's all that matters. Love you Remco
Some fantastic grooves and techniques in this!
Junior was going to town on that solo. I can’t even pronounce his name ... but the 3rd last guy Junior gets my vote! That was some amazing improv.
That Israeli dude with the standup bass was head banging!
First guy from poland, the one from Hungry and the last from USA they groove! The guy from Brazil too has very nice control.
excelent videos!! thanks for posting!!!
Bruno tausin,Adam Ezra&remco hendrix was the best for sure they have a unique style when it comes to bass✌️
3:06 THIS DUDE, IS AMAZING
What did I learn from this video......there are a lot of very, very, very great base players out there....I mean.....WHAT!!.....WOW!!!!!!!
For me, Bruno Tauzin had by far the grooviest bass line (0:56 seconds in). I'm not normally drawn to use a pick with the bass, but he really sells it here.
Andy saxton at 1:15
Adam ben ezra at 1:48
Christine Lanusse at 2:00
Remco Henzrix at 3:05
Grzegorz Kosinski at 3:55
And Jayme Lewis at 4:55
They were all great, but we were definitely the winners here.
thank you!
Hi Jay, what bass you use in this video? Is that custom bass?
Yanto Susanto It's an M Bass by Jon Maghini, yes it's custom and Jon's work is fantastic!
Wojtek Pilichowski made me smile
I think Nenad, Bruno and Jayme are my favourites in this video
thank you Lauritz, I'm honored!
+Lauritz Wiesinger Well Jayme Lewis is for sure the guy with the biggest screen.
+JamesShore1990 :)
Ferraud is my favourite, i love his feeling
I like the way everyone brought different grooves to the table but I really liked Nicole, Junior and Snob cause the brought the liquor lol
The second guy and the celloist where my favorites.
Andy C. Saxton, from the UK, used Mark Michell's sexy bright bass from Scale the Summit! Amazing band!
great stuff. all bassists with their different individual tastes and bass playing styles, some more technical than others but all good.
That pick guy Bruno Tauzin....he got the groove bru...such awesome sound....E o Braguinha veesh
This is magic Gregor! Thanks.
Greetings from Argentina!
(some argentinian bassit for next Got Bass Chops: Andres Pellican, Javier Malosetti, Juan Pablo Rufino, Matias Mendez, Guido Martinez, Martin Varela, Andres Rotmistrovsky, Brenda Martin, Pablo Della Bella and a long list.........................great musicans!)
