My grandparents lived in Weybridge all their lives. My grandfather was bailiff of the Lock King estate, a member of the Home Guard and a Special Constable. I went to Brooklands College.

Great video John. I wish I had taken the time to explore such local areas during my time with Qf. It was always local crew pubs and visiting family.

Fantastic video John. I never realised what beautful place Weybridge is. Interesting about Julian. I always believed that he gave John a painting and when asked what it was called, he answered 'Lucy in the sky with diamonds'. Of course, there has always been another theory!

The Wey from Guildford, Chilworth and Albury came to Weybridge which allowed the Gunpowder from Chilworth transport by barge.

Lovely video John, I live just down the road from Weybridge in Hersham village near Squire’s garden centre, I frequently go out on the Thames on my boat up around Weybridge, it’s lovely on a nice day but I decided not to use my boat this year as I’m doing a bit of work on it myself, I’ve got a few boating videos on my channel amongst over hobbies 😊
