I clip the same way too, and sometimes i find myself missing the clip if im at an awkward position. How come i see Adam Ondra and Jain Kim, they clip totally different, like they use the space between their thumbs and index finger to place the rope and clip by squeezing their thumbs? I tried that way too and it seemed weird, wonder why most pro climbers clip that way.
What... No 8 foot stick this time. Lol. Just started doing a lot more climbing the last few weeks. My hands are just tore up. Thanks for the tips guys. Andy
+Andy Timinsky Nice! Indoor climbing I assume? I've climbed in Golden, CO as early as February, so the outdoor climbing weather isn't far off. Enjoy! :) - Chris
+Sierra Trading Post yes indoor climbing. I just recently got a rope so hopefully within the next month or two I'll get to climb outside. Golden has some great spots (North Table Mountain). Too many spots around Colorado. 👍
+Eric Song Woohoo! You did it! Thanks for stopping by to watch. The first comment gets the ball rolling. Plus, it just feels good to be first. Good stuff! :) - Chris
One of the best videos I've ever seen about clipping.
Good video. I will start to lead climb soon and this was a good explanation for a beginner.
Best clipping video on RUclips. Thanks.
Sound technique, smooth and safe! Thanks!
You're welcome Philipp! Thank you for watching. :) - Chris

So how do you get your quickdraws back once you come down from the wall?
ruclips.net/video/O839UtW2g0g/видео.html this vid is pretty good at explaining it
Get them one by one as you lower down
Thanks Lassy
what if the only clip is at the top of the wall and the fall is too far?
Then you're bouldering. Grab the crash pads :)
