@@zaqq Did they rebalance something? I used to use a tengu and the most I could get was a tad over 1000K dps. Even with polarized launchers and those better control systems, 2000 seems pretty crazy.
This has got me all excited to go on to SiSi and do this, thanks mate. Between this and all your excellent videos on the sublime Tengu, you’re getting a 16 year old Eve vet all fired up again!
Really good video, especially cause you zoom in the ship, and the cinematics at the end were fabulous, without this kind of views the game would be just a spreadsheet simulator.

Crazy I've always used Heavy T2 launchers on my Tengu very useful for smacking target's from distance but some missions throw you in the middle of the nastys so lately I've been using T2 Hams and especially with T2 ammo and a guidence computer it's pretty sick, easily giving me 50% more DPS, love it. But I'm also a Yorkshire lad so I'm cheap and prefer to use vanilla ammo when possible 😃
Good to get the conversation started. Everyone plays eve differently so they have different takes on whats good or bad depending on their own play style. Cheers for watching man.
"byebye marauders, step aside" lol a marauder would volley this thing in two shots and wouldn't even notice how much damage they'd taken from it without looking at their combat log.
Most things would two shot this setup. When I mentioned the marauders it was meant as I wouldnt be flying my marauders anymore, obviously not for pvp lol
The officer and abyssal rolled mods are mostly on contracts rather than market. But like I mention in the vid, the ultimate series fits are just really to see what is really possible with some fits, not really viable for a day to day, I mean this tengu fit would be in the hundreds of billions of isk so unless your a mega trillionaire ha not good. Cheers man
I mean i wouldn't fly it on tq, well not with the officer rolled lows. I usually run all my mission boats polarised, especially the marauders. Get some good stats. Cheers for watching
hey mate, another great vid. As i said on a another vid, i've bene out the game for a while. Can you explain what you meant by "you rolled all of the bcu's to get the best stats" ?
CCP introduced Mutaplasmids to EVE right around when they first introduced Triglavian ships. They are a material that you can use with modules to create Abyssal versions of said modules. So when he said he "rolled" the BCUs. He literally took the BCU plus the best mutaplasmid, and created those abyssal bcus. Rolling is the RNG aspect. Just like most other MMOs where you can take materials to improve weapons. That's why it took him 200 tries to get the best modules. Because RNG plays a significant factor. Thus the term "rolling" to get the best stats. You are literally taking the module PLUS mutaplasmid and praying to the RNG gods that the module turns out better then the original module you used. That's why he used Tobias for this example. Take the best possible example of a module in the game, plus a mutaplasmid, if RNG is in your favor, will create a module that is even better then officer. (So those modules, if they existed on TQ now become the best modules in the game. Better then officer.) On TQ, people typically roll with Faction or if they have enough isk to burn, deadspace. As again, you need several copies of the item to roll the best result. So you can imagine if a single deadspace item costs 1bil isk, and they are trying to create the best Abyssal module out of it they can, they bought a good 20 or more copies of that item. So they spent 20 bil for the CHANCE at an item that is better then the deadspace one. EDIT: I would try to compare this to another MMO, but my brain can't seem to come up with another MMO that uses a weapon crafting system. And google is failing me even though this is extremely common in the industry. So hopefully my brain didn't fail me on the explanation.
That is insane. Wonder how much that Tengu would be worth on TQ? (And yes, at first I lost my shit because I thought you guys somehow convinced CCP to print 200 tobias BCUs. Then I calmed down a bit and looked at the description. LMAO.) EDIT: I'm an idiot. If I watched the video all the way through, my question would have been answered. Oh well, leaving my original comment in tact so everyone can laugh at me.
Ha yea imagine if they gave me those on tq. There would hell on, although not ccp havnt done that type of thing in the past and been caught out ha. Thanks for watching man.
nothing against your videos but... 200 officer BCUs rolled for 2400 dps with less ehp than a destroyer, one lucky tornado volley and you're toast? idk this seems a bit too far fetched to me.

Yea man its nuts. Cheers again for helping me out man appreciate it alot.
And thanks for showing me who zaqq is @Aceface 😄
As an old retired EVE player who used a Tengu, seeing the old bird still sitting pretty like this makes me happy.
Classic ship mate aye. Cheers o7

Awesome to see thanks! Do love my little Tengu :)

That firing rate, I have to see if I can achieve something like it. That ship is a holy show!
Not far away with the polarized and normal navy ballistics tbh. Cherrs man.

needs more polarized launchers :) But yea Tengu can dish out alot of damage on the Kinetic end.
You can fit a Large Compact Pb-Acid Cap Battery to that instead of the medium one, makes it cap stable with plenty to spare.

Warframe uses a similar mechanic with their Riven mods. You can reroll them for better stats to plug into your weapons.
I wonder how long it would take for you to get found and ganked if you tried something similar on TQ
Probably not long i would imagine. People get ganked for alot less.
Jeez man this is insane
I was gushing when I got the top numbers!
So the cost of your pod and the fitted ship is how much ? Insane !!!! I like it.

The tengus are modular ships so you can refit the main sub sub systems to suit what content you are doing. o7
