Ma'm my son is 8 years old. He recently became big brother to smal boy this jan. He was expecting a sister . Though he s showing love to his little bro... He is always looking dull and diverted...watever i explain... He is feeling depressd and doesnt share his emotion to me.. Started telling lies,.. Dono how to handle him... Some times i yell at him out of frustration due to post partum depression.

Hi mam, my son is completing 6 years next month... He's is in UKG... Actually I used to follow gentle parenting method... Naturally he studies well, very naughty with friends... School teacher tells he's very good in studies but little naughty at classes which is also tolerable... So finally I guess he doing very good school... But during morning while getting ready to the school, he s refusing to go, crying etc... The previous night he will arrange all his clothes and bags which has to be taken to school... Only in the mornings, why he's doing like that mam??? So the morning is very challenging for me to convince him to go to school... Please give me a hint that where I am missing Something...
Ask him about good events in the school. Motivate him to do the same best activities. Remind it in the night before bed. Again motivate him in the morning about his interested activities. This may help. Thank you. All the best

How to make them feel what we say is for their good and convince them for eg my kid does not eat at all in the school , he feels so excited and talks to his friends and comes home without eating and started facing health issues because of it, I told him kindly , explained him, scolded, threaten , all tried , no use, he says I understand you are saying for my good , but when I see my friends, talking to them becomes my priority than your advise or my health even, what do I do????

My son is 6 years aagudhu mam he is not talking but shouting at her younger sister(3.9 years old). He is not listening to what I say. Small things ku aluvan, ematram thangamatran he is 1st child adhanalaya???He helps me and cares for me and loves me and me also. Avanuku ena thonudho adhaye panumpodhu i get annoyed for not listening. For example when I say Don't play in water he won't stop until i shout or hit. My daughter studying 3rd std. Her dad always beats her on her face on head if she not listening to his words. I know its hurting her a lot. Bit dono how ro handle this situation. She wont listen only to her dad and also to me . But she will be very much responsible and listen to others. Help me out
Talk to her with the people whom she is actually close other than mom and dad. Find the route cause. At first they may be blank or don't say anything but when they started trusting them may open up. Try not to hit child. It affects her mentally and physically.
This s the age which children s too adamant talk to her patiently don't get angry if v angry adamant grows up up only it won't reduce..
