Scene with that big shirtless guy has WEST dark green suit loaded with light brown dirt then NEXT SCENE half clean/next next scene completely dry cleaned!!!! Probably filmed fight scenes at END OF FILMING DAY!!!! Note:: WEST shirt comes OFF every 4 episodes season 1/every three episodes season 2/every 2 episodes season 3/ every episode season 4☆

Yes but the season 1 was diffused in a special order. Notice that the real episode order is : 1, 28, 5, 9, 15, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and finally 27.

I would have watch it that time, I only discovered it some years ago. An dnow that I realised, Robert Conrad is dead before I could even send him a message. I should have discovered it before
You know, furniture sold today breaks almost as easily as it does on this show. Good that pianos are a little stronger now though; they don't collapse when you touch them. Jim has a backhand that would make Nadal jealous; he can send a man clear across the room without looking at him!
I remembered that scene in the courtyard with the "X" torture devices where they ripped his trousers to pieces. You can see multiple pairs in the edits torn in totally different places, but West is clearly wearing no-fly Jockey tighty-whities (34:23). I don't know how he could hide those [panty] lines (or anything else) under those tight pants he wore; no other guy wearing polyester at the time could do that. I mean, even superman couldn't hide his lines, so he wore his underwear on the outside!
With higher definition, you can see pulled threads on his costume at times. I'd guess they chose one dark color so they could patch them with each other when needed. Otherwise, they'd go though hundreds of outfits when they were damaged. Easier to make just one pair of pants, than an entire ensemble each time one is destroyed.
Stagehands behind the right window (38:21)? Give it a couple seconds, you'll see him step aside again when the guy goes out.
I love this show. It's on one of my streaming services (Prime I think), but only the 1st B&W season; hopefully they'll add the rest. The colors are so rich and vibrant that it needs color to show it. The guest stars were great, especially the returning ones. Loveless and King Tut were my favs.
Mr. Conrad said in an interview that TWWW was not a western. He said it was set up that way, but that the stories could be used in any time period or setting, which if you think about it, makes sense. The Wild, Wild West referred to the man James West, not the period (well okay, both). There's a little "Ger Smart", "Mission Impossible", Batman and "Zorro" in it as well as others fares; some being on at the same time. I guess it's a crime show all dressed up, but it works.
It's fun to hear some of the sound effects from other shows also like "Star Trek" and "I Dream of Jeannie" (her escaping the bottle sound)". The guitar picking was unique though (well, then there's Batman) and so was the harpsichord. It was different and like some shows that had character development, so did TWWW with West and Gordon.
Jim also broke his pants at 4:01 when he jumps from the wall. But he turns in the way the camera can't see it. Also in "The Night of the Pistoleros", he broke his pants in the final fight scene. In "the night of the undead" he broke his shirt while getting through a window with a bullwhip. (38:20) you can see on his right shoulder...He broke his pants on the knee in I don't know wich episode.

No. In the episode, it's scientist who have been kidnapped and lobotomise. They are working for a Doctor "Articulus" who manage to control them. It's not the cameramen it's just characters "actors" from the episode.
Actually, the managed to do a fifth and sixth season in the 80s but Ross Maertin died so Conrad gave up. In the first season, the pilot episode "The Night of The Inferno" was called "The Wild West" produced by Michael Garrisson. But he died, after releazing 2 episodes only. (The night of the inferno, and the night of the sudden plague) so many other producers came after him, maybe 5 or 6 so they call it "The Wild WILD west". Conrad said, with so much producers, it should have been "The Wild Wild Wild Wild Wild Wild Wild West" Someone kept the original pilot episode, you can see in the intro "The Wild West" and the intro isn't the same !!

@@movierestaurvf I didn't notice his shirt after he flew in. There was no need to fix anything that lasted less than a second or two. They didn't expect it to be shown on a large 4K TV, and things did happen very quickly and film was expensive. It's great we can see these unintended clips they never thought would be seen twice.
Those are rare these days, but there's a big one in a Matthew McConaughey movie some years back. I don't remember the title, but he was getting in a small boat from the sand and it was so clear he wasn't wearing anything under his shorts and showed his stuff, I couldn't believe it was left in (or out in this case). It might be 1/10th of a second, but if you freeze it just right... lol! We don't need perfection anyway and gives us something to talk about.
@@movierestaurvf Due to character development (a solid friendship), this show really could not go on without Ross Martin no matter how popular Conrad was. The show was built for them and some things the audience just can't adjust to. You can add another "Wild" for his stunt jobs.
