We were able to secure hunting privileges on Tioga county private land and hunting state land for over 35 years of non resident hunting. I believe our respect for the land and leaving the rental in pre rental condition has caused the owners to rethink their no hunting policy. Thanks to the commission’s actions has kept us coming back for 42 years.🦌🏹
Basically an introduction to the new director and finding out what he's about. No exciting news being released or anything like that. Hopefully the complete end of the ban on Sunday hunting will happen during his tenure.
An excellent presentation. I'm sure Mr. Steve Smith will be a great asset to the PA Game Commission and looking forward to his improvements for the commission and the commonwealth. Regardless of what the naysayers regurgitate, the PA Game Commission does an outstanding job. I support them 100 percent.
@@KeystoneInvestigations That's just silly. There is no greater chance of those people getting shot than another hunter. People in other states have no issue using that land during the season and there is no massive number of accidental shootings. The only other people I see in the woods during December are other hunters.
There signs at the game lands that say this land has been purchased with funds from hunting liscence sales. plain and simple you want to do other stuff there you need to deal with the hunters you don't go to someone's house as a guest and tell them what there aloud to eat infront of you. Then why would you come to the game lands and expect the people paying for it to not use it whenever they can.
@@PaGameHunter Exactly! It's just leftovers from the old "blue laws". And I just don't get where this myth comes from that there are just busloads of people ready to race into the woods in the first weeks of December. And they just gotta go on gamelands.
I didn't hear anything I'm interested in. You didn't talk about recruiting young hunters. You didn't talk about losing senior hunters because they are disappointed in the lack of opportunities at deer. Deer is the reason people hunt and traditionally for deer sausage at Christmas time to celebrate the hunt. You didn't talk about the introduction of predator species which as hunters we do not want because they are in competition with us trying to get deer or turkey. The NWTF worked their butts off to reestablish birds and you stock fishers and martins like a bunch of dumb effs. Your game wardens are always in investigation mode and have no interest in a pleasant conversation with us in the field. We don't need people breathing down our necks acting like Nazi's saying show me your papers.when we are doing nothing wrong. Go to he ll!

The deer population is larger then it ever has been before if your struggling filling tags on private or public pa land then it's you and the turkey population is effect more by a oversized whitetail population then and small preditor population
I want to know if the new executive director supports his agency putting spy cameras on private property in an attempt to "catch" violations of people who are NOT suspected of a crime?
Report me for bullying again. I don't care. You guys don't listen to hunters so I have to do my talking here when you invited me here through the email. Maybe you'll listen but you guys heads are up your a sses so far you wouldn't hear me.
Why? I think it's great. Most people are off of work and can go out in the woods as a family. Coming from other states, I saw this as silly as the lack of beer sales on Sundays. They finally fixed that as well.
I'll tell you my experience. It's thanksgiving and kids can't all make it the same day. We used to have our dinner on Saturday so we could visit our children. Now they are all pissed off because dad went hunting. Thanks alot. No more saturday or sunday to sight in your rifle. You haven't digested your turkey yet and you're walking through the woods in the dark feeling like sh it p issed off because you p issed off your kids and wife for a hike to see no deer.. Sooooo traditional now ain't it.
@@KeystoneInvestigations I know. That's how communists work. No freedom. Screw traditions. Make room for high fence, high dollar hunting on private lands. We don't want deer getting hit by cars. Maybe the poor hunters will eat coyotes or bugs.
Impressive, Steve!

Allow Sunday hunting and get Hunter trapper education more readily available and in schools

What a brown noser.
I guess we are fortunate that he doesn't have a degree in biology (PETA) like in other states.
But....he's a dirty scumbag lawyer!
Its funny how the PGC no longer says "WE are rich in tradition...". It shows how money trumps tradition with the PGC.
They send emails out to announce something and get beat up on RUclips. Funny that they don't recognize that hunters despise them.
@@user-us4dj9tv7j Not all hunters despise them. Some are highly supportive of the PA Game Commission!
How can one love themselves so much and not know what the customers desire for their purchase of a hunting license? There seems to be a disconnect.
Please help get all Sunday hunting open ! Absolutely no reason not too ! Look at the other states that allow it , no issues ! Pa do better !
Sunday should be closed to hunting.
This gives non-hunting people at least one day to enjoy the state game lands without the risk of being shot!

Remember when you guys bragged about your dmap roll out and patted yourselves on the back on youtube and hunters let you have it? Good times.

The PA Game Commission wouldn't have to stock Fishers and Martins
if a bunch of dumb effs didn't upset the balance!
