The Feud That Sparked the Renaissance by P. Walker is also informative and an in- depth look at a very important time in art and architecture.

Could you discuss whether climbing Parnassus is not a sufficient description of classical education?

I believe they have positively reviewed this book a few times on the podcast in regards to its description of what classical ed is -- Greek and Latin at the center.

Yeah, that’s why I raise the question. Climbing parnassus seems to say that historically CE was just intellectual development. That’s why you should learn Latin. Latin is the most reliable way to form the mind.
