Morten Please Please Please dont ever change the way you do these videos. it's the moments of distraction that make them so real, just as if we were there with you in a week of high stress fighting for my job watching this i now feel calm and at ease with the world. seeing that dear made me see its moments like this that matter thank you for sharing this moment with us all, can't wait for the next adventure, stay safe, Dave
"...because I was vlogging it, I didn't get the picture. I missed that shot. But it doesn't matter, because you got it, you got to see that moment..." As I've said before, your energy is infectious and that quote just shows how much you care about your viewers. Excellent video!
My awesome mobile photography plz watch 🙏🙏 ruclips.net/video/Z1s4AB04ahU/видео.html And if you liked than subscribe my RUclips channel please i need support 🙏🙇
Your raw enthusiasm for the outdoors without any “disruption” of your natural environment is infectious! Peaceful, serene and again very informative. Thanks Morten. I don’t have a gillie suit but have camo clothes and equipment covers. My wife laughs at me but I was able to photograph a family of pileated woodpeckers this spring. I even had one land on a tree 2 m away! No pictures because I didn’t want to scare it when I moved, but an amazing experience all the same.
That is so kind of you to write such an awesome comment Randy:) Oh yes there it was - disruption and not disturbtion - that is probably not even a word... Yes dressing up in camo is always a lot of fun for everyone;) I once forgot to take it off on the public road on my way home!!!
I have goosebumps watching this. How lucky you were, Morten, to have been granted TWO visits by that beautiful animal! It's like an angelic spirit sent by Mother Nature. Your heart must have been pounding and your breath taken away!
Wow, simply wow! A stunning video. Well said Brian. I couldn't have said it better. I doubt it wasn't only Morten's heart beating fast, because mine certainly was. What a beautiful and emotional video and what a place to live...I'm so jealous!
I really appreciate the work you put in to bringing wildlife to us. I know it's your passion but as a new photographer whenever I now see a photo of wildlife, I have deep appreciation for whoever took that photo. I can't thank you enough for what you do. I am soooo inspired to do the same.
Thank you Morten for these gifts of your time and talent. I too, paused the video, grabbed coffee, and watched sitting very still in my chair in anticipation of the seconds to come. Your enthusiasm and passion is passed to us byway of your expressions and voice, along side of this melting soundtrack you've been using. I'm so very grateful.
Great film again Morten what a beautiful animal you were privileged to watch and your love for it not to disturb it I was holding my breath with you and the emotion I felt just watching I cannot imagine the joy you must have felt when she came toward you, the information films are good but these are my favourites thank you.
I live in india and whenever I go to nearby hill i see and hear peacocks and it's amazing. I can't imagine how you feel doing this. Thanks for the experience
I just had today time to watch all your last vlogs/videos. I find this is one of the really emotional ones. I like the way you let me/us be part of your big and small expeditions and sharing your love to nature. All these emotional moments you share by also respecting nature. Thank you so much for this wonderful afternoon I had with lots of coffee watching your vlogs about Finland, photography tips and so on. Keep it the way you do it, Morten! Thank you so much! Have a great weekend.
Beautiful story and really cool footage, Morten! I wish everyone was so respectful of nature as you are. That was really nice to see, and you set a good example for other photographers. I also liked what you said about how you don't really "own" your land, you just live there. I think that's a healthy attitude, because we're all just visiting for a short time. Unfortunately, where I live, the culture is very different, and there is a strong feeling of ownership over the land - so much so that everything is fenced in, and there are often many unfriendly warnings to other people and little respect for nature. I'm glad that in Scandinavia, at least, that is not the case. You live in a very beautiful place. I just hope your neighbors never run into you in that camouflage, otherwise they might have a heart attack!!
Hi Jon and thanks for your nice comment. Everything here is also in fence but only because of the cows:) I think people are very different when it comes to owning land - also here in Denmark. But yes I do respect nature a lot, and i don't feel I own anything.
Morten my friend, again you have done an amazing job. I am so glad you were able to get out and take some photos. Thank you so very much for taking the time and all the hard work you do to share with all of us. Be safe my friend and thanks again for sharing.
Morten, your videos are inspiring. I greatly appreciate how much you share about your absolute love for nature and wild animals, and the thrill that you get when you get to capture such beautiful moments. It's also great to see that you are so careful as to not disturb the natural habitat, and leave undetected. Cheers and peace to you. Thanks.
Im glad you got to get out and enjoy nature, as it enjoyed you and gave you that great view! You really taught me and showed how respectful wildlife and nature should be treated, thank you morten! just an outstanding video as always!
Wow, just wow! Just when you think it couldn't get any better the beautiful deer came back. I could seriously watch you roam around in the woods for hours. Even before the deer arrived the video was amazing. Thank you again for taking us on your adventures.
Hey Morten, I don’t know if you would read this, But, Really I can’t express in words how much I have started liking your videos, seriously it is infectious. Rightly said “it doesn’t matter.... “once you start feeling the beauty of nature just be with it live the life for that moment. The best memories are those which we capture in our minds, and some of-course we manage with our cameras.
Whew!!! This is work! You're nearly hypnotic. You're not only a "high caliber" photographer, but you are also a performer. I finish watching some of your content, and I have to go for a short walk, just to relax a bit. Morten, you may not realize it but this is content that can be found NOWHERE... it is "off the charts" fabulous. Keep 'em coming.
i have just returned from the Farne Islands today not far from where i live photographing all the puffins and sea birds and the grey seals there. Coming home to a 27 minute long Morten video is the perfect way to top off a wildlife photography filled day! Also Morten if you are ever in the north east of England i highly recommend the Farne Islands, they have been noted by Sir David Attenborough as his favourite place to view wildlife in the UK and i'm sure you would absolutely love it! Awesome video as always my friend.
Morten is always thrilled to see your videos clicking the aminais. We can see the glitter of his eyes, the stasis of his satisfaction to be there at that moment. Congratulations, a big hug from Brazil.
Another brilliant film. Days like this are wonderful, I had an amazing experience with Pied Flycatchers last weekend. These moments live with us forever.
One of the best blogs I've ever seen, love your passion for wildlife, I'm exactly the same, sometimes I go into the woods and just sit there, sure I've missed some great shots but at least I've seen it, it's just great to be able to get out with the wildlife as I'm disabled, I'm thankful for every day that nature gives me.
Sometimes I would like to say a lot of cool things to Morten, but........... with this videos, the silence is taking me out trying to feel all those moments. Thanks Morten for all this hard work. I know you are a "solitary wolf" when you are in the outdoors so the last video how to publish your work was really cool. A lot of work behind the scenes. Thank you so much for sharing your life, your moments with all of us and being so humble.
Your an inspiration i look at your videos to help me escape from my average life to a world that is beautiful i recently started photography and you are my number 1 inspiration for photography in general your amazing man don't ever change who you are!
Sat in hotel deciding what to do and then saw this video flash up. Sorry, I said Im watching Morten Hilmers video were not going out. She will understand......eventually.
If you know where their Den is go and sit there. An experience like no other. Study when they come out and be there before. Your presence will gain their trust. I studied a family of foxes so I could photograph them all at different stages as there was 3 young ones. Absolutely fascinating....over time they became to trust me and I would be as close as 2 feet away. They gifted me with stunning photographs. I thanked them!.
Watching your videos have made me realize the true meaning of being a photographer. Thank you for sharing this amazing vlog! Mother-nature is mesmerizing.
That’s more like it. I looked forward to watching this all day. Got home had a beer and enjoyed your adventure. Brilliant stuff. I’m taking my daughter to the woods at the weekend in hope to see a deer. Thanks
Stunning video Morten. With the respect you show to nature and her creatures you deserve to get the best wildlife images. Wish more people were like you.
Your “home” is beautiful. I live in Montana USA but in a town. We have public forest all around me though and I consider it my “home”. Nothing like being out all alone. Most people will never get that. Great stuff Morten. You inspire me very much!
27 minutes..But still feel like watching more...it was like a real experience watching the deer, same as from your place..the deer was walking towards me huh. Morten, thank you so much for these amazing stuffs and keep inspiring..
WOW ! stunning . I bet you felt like another cup of coffee after that encounter. Love watching you out in the field, all the best from New Zealand. Greg.
Thanks for sharing, Morten. What an awesome experience you had. Im trying to get the time and luck to get some good pictures of the wild rabbits around here.
You are an amazing photographer, a brilliant naturalist but most of all a phenomenal human being who has awesome philosophies about nature and wildlife. Watching your videos never loses its impact, charm wow factor, they are all amazing. A couple of years ago I was photographing deer in Wales, I had walked about 100 metres from the car and I got some shots I was really pleased with. When the light went I decided to start making my way back to the car which was about 30 minutes plus walk for me. I was just making my way down a hill when I came face to face with a young stag. I have no idea how long we were there looking at each other, but I'm sure the deer thought this panting creature walking in a very strange way can’t possible be human. A truly magic moment and one I’m not sure I would have had but for my disabilities. This was another amazing video, really enjoyed it. Thank you for uploading it and thank you for starting this channel.
Quite a long a video Morten, so I made myself a cup of tee and sit down to enjoy it. Great video, great content, I like how respectful you are with nature, thanks for sharing!

Although I understand why you make the other kind of videos, like the Photography Friday which I also enjoy, this kind of video is what drew me in. More of these please!! Morten you rock!

Hope you got yourself a good cup of coffe after this session Morten because you really deserved it! Truly inspriing once again. I really enjoy each of your videos and it pushes me to go out as well and get pictures. Yesterday, while looking for deers in the fields, I managed to get my first ever badger...pure luck, but it was awesome! this is what we, wildlife photographers, pro or amateurs, are living for! :)
Great story! And I feel your excitement of being near a wild animal as I've also experienced it a few times. It's when your heart begins pumping faster, you're holding your breath and feeling a nervous tremor in the stomach and sometimes fear if the animal is big enough.
Morten Please Please Please dont ever change the way you do these videos. it's the moments of distraction that make them so real, just as if we were there with you

thanks Morten, for letting us in.
This is like a lovestory between you and the nature.
brother you are an example to me with all my heart I wish you the best you are great Greetings from Mexico
Thank you Mr. Martin, now I understand why it is much more important to transfer life to an image than to be nervous about the sharpness of the image.
This is ASMR for photographers.Love how peaceful these videos are.
My favorite Wildlife Photographer did it again, keep it up
Serenity. That's the word for this video. I see deer frequently where I live but I was just as entranced watching this. How is that!!?
Mortem, you have so much respect for wildlife.

What a exiting video! Thumbs up from Rold Skov. Your respect for the wildlife is just wonderful.
