I totally agree. His vocalizing was spot on, and it showed enough of his singing ability and range to make me want more. I couldn't believe no chairs turned either. Dudes voice was spot on for that piece and showed definite spark for lower range baritone to low tenor music. We need more singers in that range in so many genres.

She's got too much of a voice for "The Voice"... The coaches simply don't turn for opera singers because they couldn't pair them with anyone in battles and opera singers don't generally need coaching
The girl who sang Zombie can freaking scream. The Opera singer was really very good. The guy who sang Jack's Lament didn't get a chair because the judges didn't know the song or what it was from. I thought he did that excellently. The last girl was a total surprise. That is not what I was expecting, but she was freaking great and she brought the house down. She turned that place into a concert.

Very easy this one, the act of the creep from the voice Portugal was horrible, so fam poor. On the other hand by far, the best act was the last, the heavy metal girl completely smashed it. What a super unbelievable performance. That's world class!
She was good, but it's hard to be successful with opera in mainstream TV, And they would also need a second talent to match for the battle So I understand why she wasn't picked And also, as someone who does opera as well, she was good, but not like outstanding good or with a unique touch, she's just singing correctly, if you have the range needed it's not really hard, but she did sing very beautifully It would have been great to see more serious opera and musical singer like her in TV, and not only the got talent version where they get to the next round because they start to strip or dance..
The last singer (Stefanie Stuber) was very impressive in my opinion. That gruff, scream type singing is very hard to achieve properly, and I think you can damage your vocal cords if it's done incorrectly.

Man, the unsung (pun not intended) heroes of these shows are the musicians who play all these songs so well. They are top notch performers too. I see them in the dimmed backgrounds and am just amazed at how well they not only perform the songs, but improvise and just do a fabulous job.

I can't believe noone turned for Jack, The Punpkin King or The Phantom of the Opera. Zombie on the other hand, she absolutely ROCKED IT! No doubt she got all chairs turned. She was AWESOME!!! The "Freak/Weirdo was good, but pitchy all over the place. He/she has potential, but definitely needs some coaching. Sweet dreams indeed. That sweet voice and beauty will take her places. It is supposed to be about the voice, but we know the look is a factor as well. That guy doing Highway to Hell is pretty good too, awesome considering it is not his native language.
Well I agree on the Phantom King but the Phantom of the Opera was not some special performance. She did hit the high notes really good, of course and that deserves praising but her voice trembled a lot in her attempt to make a vibrato and she overplayed it. This is what my vocal teacher advises me not to do. But it is understandable she could be nervous. But perhaps yes she could be deserving a chance indeed. Maybe it was more of hers that we should see

I didn't include everybody else who sang in the video either, just the ones I felt like mentioning. But you brought up a valid point, her natural voice did deserve a mention, for sure. She could rock it with that voice alone if she chose to. But with the market for her other talents and her ability to do it so cleanly, why not include showing off that takent as well. Great audition.

They probably didn't turn because most Opera singers don't have a big chance against like rappers or hiphop artists. Like , put them on a pop song and it's a lot harder for them to nail
they probably thought they could not coach her.. but if they are top coaches they should be able to polish her skills and voice to sing other than opera songs.. her voice is good for any ballad song or high note songs

The Thai dude singing Highway To Hell sounded amazing, even though the majority of it was gibberish. The German woman at the end has a fantastic stage presence and switching between that hard sound and a softer voice was delicious!
