Hey. Thanks for your videos, I have a RadRunner too. Could you post a link to the adapter you use for mounting your batteries please? I would really appreciate it. I have been looking for months for a way to mount an aftermarket battery in the standard battery location!! Also using my RR for deliveries 🙂
many thanks!! and here's the link (i bought the one that has 4 slots) www.tredz.co.uk/.Wolf-Tooth-B-RAD-Mounting-Base_217927.htm?sku=691974&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp7ihiaeF9wIVG-vtCh2C5QYgEAQYASABEgJW6_D_BwE
Only 250 watts on PAS 5. That's a bummer. Must not be in the United States. My U.S. version of Radrunner Plus has 750watts which can do 25mph (40kph). Did you unlock the bike yet to go faster by holding both up and down PAS buttons? From there push mode button till you get to the max speed setting. Turn that up to 40KPH.
i live in london, uk and unfortunately over here the bikes are restricted to 250 watts and 16 mph but at the moment i'm going to leave it as it is because it's ok for now
Hey I like seeing the mods you do to your bike. I have a radrunner 1 with the EggRider. I’m in the U.K. so was used to the 250 watt motor. I can now get 1000 watts peak out of the same motor and it handles hills really well. Have you considered this upgrade? Please keep making videos
@@pddellow these bikes are really cool specially the cruiser step through but the radrunner plus is better because it has a front rack and you can also mount extra batteries.
@@pddellow to be honest, the only thing that i don't like about the radrunner plus is the colour. if it was black instead of silver it would look much better. the good thing is that it's very comfortable and you can make loads of modifications
Adjust purchased a rad Runner plus, I’m really interested in your dual battery set up! Is the battery mounted in the front just an extra that you swap into the regular slot when needed? Or are they both wired?
they are both wired, so whenever i want to switch batteries i just have to disconnect one cable and connect the other one. i'm going to upload a video next week showing how i've done it
the handlebar is the same one that came with the bike but i have changed the stem. i've got an adjustable stem to adjust the height and distance of the handlebar
yeh but never mind because at the moment i'm getting around 60 miles range. when going uphill it keeps the same speed with or without the extra battery and accessories that i have added but i bought the eggrider and hopefully it will fix it. if not, then i'll buy a new motor and a new controller
@@shekhar1203 I have the ecell Monarch 1000 Watt ebike I have had it for two years it’s all wheel drive and yes it will ride up very steep hill at about 13 miles per hour, but understand this is a heavy ebike it weigh about 95 lbs two batteries 🔋 two motors adding up to 32 amp hours 31 miles per hour max. I have added a lot of new more advanced crap 💩 to this bike since I bought it new seat, suspension post, don’t hit me lights, bags 💼, tools 🛠, tires 🛞, Hidden GPS that has a 6 month charge, and yes I have scraped off all of the ecell emblems and put my own emblems on my ebike because it’s mine now not theirs.

many thanks!! and i also have the eggrider and it's definitely better than than the original display
I’m sure you have tried registering on Stuart as well but they take a long time
i did actually almost apply a long time ago but i didn't finish the application. i might join them in the near future though
is that the 20ah UPP battery pack?
it's the 22.5ah samsung battery. here is the link: custombuilt-ebikes.co.uk/product/48v-22-5ah-downtube-ebike-battery-samsung-cells/
what would you say is the better bike, the ncm or the rad
definitely the radrunner plus because it has bigger wheels, throttle, front rack, step through and you can add loads of accessories
How about the Ride1up 500 series, or 700 series, or cruiser?
@@pddellow these bikes are really cool specially the cruiser step through but the radrunner plus is better because it has a front rack and you can also mount extra batteries.
@@shekhar1203 but if is uglier

A superior e-bike brand!
i completely agree, currently they are one of the best e-bike manufacturers!!

@@BRS_DIY no problem
What battery is that in the main battery compartment under the seat?
it's a 22.5ah 48v samsung battery. i bought it from this website: custombuilt-ebikes.co.uk
Can you tell what handlebar you use??
the handlebar is the same one that came with the bike but i have changed the stem. i've got an adjustable stem to adjust the height and distance of the handlebar
@@shekhar1203 Appreciate it, thank you for the reply! Can you tell then what stem model is it?
@@IvanTserulik no problem. and it's the halfords adjustable alloy stem, 25.4mm.
Good 👏
Ayeeeeeeee 👍👍👍
The more weight you put on it the slower it will go, and the battery will drain faster

Get off the rad rover and push it up the hill that’s fast 💨
oh i no longer need to do that unless it's a very steep hill because i now have the eggrider and it gives more torque to the bike
