She made a point to turn to me & say, "Thank you so much! That is so awesome! You're the reason I'm here. I mean it. I know that!" I met her a 2nd time the Feb after she had just turned 17. It was way beneath her to play at this little bar, Allentown, PA, an hour from her hometown. she allowed the 1st 10 ppl in the over 21 line & the 1st 10 ppl in the under 21 line to come meet her. One woman asked if there was a line. Taylor said, "I thought we'd all just hang out as long as everyone wants. if some want to leave sooner, if some want to stay..." It was all of us standing around the basement with her & her parents for 45 min like she was one of us. The sweetest person in the world- & she was already famous at that point. I love her more than anything! Later, I think for being one of the 1st to pre-order her 2nd cd, she had mailed to me a free autographed copy of her 1st cd & one of her concert t-shirts with note, "Taylor wanted to say thank you." No one else would even think of any of it! No one more deserving. No one else like her-- & it is genuine.
And now, just 10 years later, she has two of the 10 highest viewed videos on youtube - combined, as of today (8-14-16), Blank Space and Shake It Off have 3 billion (that's a "b") views
I just love how she flag that radio station and to ask each and everyone there to request her song on the radio for 5 times a day at 11:35-11:59 and when she said PLEASE ar 12:00 -12:01 ohh TAYLOR you deserve every hardwork I LOVE YOU SINCE 2008 i just wished i knew your music back 2006 when i was only 12 yrs old.

I'd Lie has the same melody on the chorus as Girl Next Door by Saving Jane so I think that's why she's not releasing it. Maybe she forgot where she heard the melody and wasn't even sure if she actually heard it before and that's why used it for I'd Lie (Saving Jane are a pretty obscure group).
