Welcome back, RailCowgirl, and thank you for this brilliant video ! I hope you had something better than coconut water to drink. Such amazing views, even considering the fact that your shots from the Bergen Line have been colorful in the past. You may have a hard time topping the quality and uniqueness of this one in future videos. Be safe, always, especially near this sign.

It's amazingly beautiful, to watch this phenomenon. Yeah, the moose (?) just escaped the oncoming train. I want to see this by myself, so in the near future, I will travel to Norway and watch this. Thank you for sharing.
@RailCowGirl, thanks for that. I work in space weather, but I've never actually seen the Aurora. It's rare in southern England and from where I live it would be right over Oxford.
Welcome back with this beautiful video! I had the opportunity to visit norway in June...and I'm still deeply impressed by this fabulous country and it's warm and empathic people. Thanks norway for this experience, thanks cowgirl for sharing your awesome views with us!
Oh, dear in the beginning (deer in the headlights!) to Oh, my at middle and end (Northern Lights ARE the headlights, sort of!) ... great video and ride! Thanks! [Greetings from Tucson]
I watch your Channel all the time and this is the first time I've seen an animal cross the tracks like that. The northern lights are beautiful aren't they, they're gorgeous!
Howdy from the tan and brown Sonoran desert country of the Phoenix area. Even with the headlight, looks like beautiful country. The aurora makes it even more mystical.
Short, sweet and well received. I’m one of those odd people who has a hard time reading/watching/listening to episodic books/videos/podcasts if it is going to be a long time before the next episode/etc., arrives. Life is busy for all of us and I am not complaining. I’m just explain why I haven’t finished your last video. I have about a half hour left to watch and will probably do so tonight. Your job just excites me. Here in the Ohio Valley we don’t see the Northern Lights. My first and only time to see them in person was in 1978 when we were traveling across country. It blows my mind to think you can go to work at night and experience this phenomenon while driving a train. Surreal! Thank you for this. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Thanks for posting this RCG. We're I live here in the States we don't get to see them only on very rarely occasions.and not like this. Again that's RCG.
So beautiful 💙💚 I observe the suns activity and have seen many charts lately that predicted aurora borealis over Scandinavia and wondered if you’d see them. The predictions say that the sun‘s activity will peak in 2025, I hope you get to see many more northern lights ❤️
You have such a window into the world and nature. Night sky, sunrise, sunset and changing weather, the natural beauty of your surroundings and critters when they cross your path. What a cool view you have. Thanks for sharing.
@@queengoblin I live in a city, so there is too much light polution. I did visit north-central Wisconsin when I was a kid back in the 1950's and remember how many stars I could see in the night sky, including the Milky Way.
Great to see a new vid. Haven't seen the Northern Lights since I was a kid, when we lived on the outskirts of town. Those must have been extra bright to be seen near the lights of town. Thanks so much for the ride-along RCG.
Wonderful filming. Which day was this? An astrophotographer got photos of the Northern Lights from as far south as north Norfolk on the UK eastern seaboard, early on the morning of Monday 8 August; these were reported in British papers. I also remember reports a few days earlier of a major solar flare.
That is a tremendous video, very good quality, and great seeing the northern lights. We're intending to visit Norway (again) in Feb 2024 hopefully to see the Aurora Borealis, so this has been an encouragement! Thanks for this!
Thank-you for doing this for us! My folks have seen the lights, one summer they were on the Farmstead in North Dakota. I've never seen them. It was on my bucket list to travel to Alaska in February (we were told that was the best time to see them there) but I'm now 71 & with a shorter list!
Thanks for the video, would love to travel on Bergen line oneday in my life and see the Aurora with my own eyes. The video really got me hooked and fell in love with bergen railway line.
How I wish that the trains I drive had headlights as good as your dipped headlights, let alone that amazing main beam. Half the time we could be forgiven for thinking that our trains had candles fitted as headlights... :( Mind you, I think your signals are far too bright (or maybe it's just the camera exaggerating the brightness).
@@RailCowGirl Yeah, our LED signals are atrocious too, especially when they fit the brighter 'high-speed' signals on ordinary 'low-speed' routes. I'm sure LED signals are a great idea on paper. On the ground? Not so much.
Lucky you. Finnmark is still waiting for full darkness at night. But honestly saying, this year Aurora Borealis was also visible almost in the end of April - unusually late at north.
That looks incredible! Kind of like every other view from your cab. I'm quite jealous of your job to be honest. That looks so much cooler than an office job here in the boring Netherlands (at least boring when it comes to the environment)...
I about yiped seeing that buck crossing the tracks. Glad it made it before kasplat. Love these videos... quiet and soothing when too much noise from the outside world. 3:40 mark is beautiful. 5:31 is another wow, the colors in the sky are gorgeous!
That really is something with so much light around. I know the camera picks up more green than you might see with the naked eye, but you could clearly see columns of light. How much green did you see? Just magical.
Thank you! I'd give anything to see this display of God's creation in real life. But this is probably as close as I will ever get.

There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when the Northern Lights sneak up on you unexpectedly. Thanks for the video!
you should see the sunrise at four thirty in the morning in southern Europe, on the sea before June 21
We see the Northern Lights here from time to time, but only in winter, and rarely this bright! Thanks for posting this! It's really beautiful!
Same here. We usually see it late fall and during winter, this is the first time I've seen it in August. A powerful event with other words :D
I held my breath for the buck and released it when he made it across safely! Whew!
The sky is so beautiful! Thank you for making this video!
💐🌌
I actually "liked" the vid before I see it, I know it will be awesome to watch. Thanks!
Wonderful! Thank you for another great vid!
The deer on the tracks just about gave me a heart attack 🤣
Hehehhe.. I was "please don't stop, buddy!"
No shortage of beauty in this video. Love it! ❤️❤️❤️
Thxsomuch 💖 love your channel✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
first time I've seen the northern lights thank you!!
Amazing look at those northern lights, something I never see where I live. Thank you RCG
Stunning !!! In addition, the railways in Norway are well maintained and the trains light up the tracks well, unlike in France...

There have been numerous animal crossings in my videos :D But it's the firs time it's been so clear.
Usually they don't make it to the other side.
There was the famous white bunny. I'm still not sure if it managed to avoid the train.
Stunning to see the lights in all their glory. Thank you for sharing this magical moment with us

Love it...Oh dear...yes great views.....NO the deer at the very start..!! Thanks RCG and congrats on a very sharp clear video.

Yay cool video RCG 😁 awesome 😆 the aurora was nice but the drive at night was even better
Thank you for sharing the northern lights!
I am so thankful the deer moved out of your way.
So am I, never fun to hit them
The trains and the Northern lights all that I love. Thank you so much for the video. You are so lucky 😊

These Bombardier runs like a limo, and yes congrats for the camera, outstanding aurora images, thank you!

Wow, that was a close call!
Stunning aurora! Norreskjene or what do you call it?
Fantastic.
You are full of surprises. You constantly surprise and delight us.

Thanks for the ride. What a beautiful view! No Northern Lights here in Florida...
Loved this video! Thank you for posting it!
Wonderfull! Aurora borealis, northern lights, visible in August! Uncredible!!
Very beautiful.... Thank you very much!
Admit it - you would have liked to kill the headlights and fly thru the darkness with alien skies.
perfect
The only thing that could be better would be to see the Northern Lights up on the Hardangervidda Plateau in the winter with a clear sky.
Well... since I go over there almost every day, then there is a huge chance of that happening :D Just have to fall on the right day every 27 days ;)
You are the reason that we are planning a trip to Norway next year. Thank you!
Yaaaay! ❤️ I hope you’ll find it even mire spectacular soaking in the views in real life ❤️
Interesting trip if a little boring - prefer daylight shots of the stunning scenery!
So lovely to have you back! And an experience everyone should witness in person. 🌠
