I was at the race and it was great in person. I have not watched the broadcast yet but the battles all over the track were fun to see in the open and the all star race.
The track raced well. They did a good job with the repave.Multiple grooves passing was possible. New tire did not play out as a expected. I think it highlighted the same problem that has always been there. Lack of damn horsepower. By the end of the race they were running the highline keeping momentum up. 1000 Horsepower will promote tire degradation And passing. It just needs to happen already.
@@spencerwright600 Passing was going on throughout the entire field. Larson started in the rear. So did Wallace. Logano was the class of the field. That's why we didn't see a lead change. Believe me last thing I wanna see is a lagano win.
It's the lack of look on Andy Petree's face the whole time that leaves me laughing. First when Ricky went up on the box to give the 8 team his thoughts after parking it in the pit stall, and later in the garage by the hauler. Petree just stands there watching like a WWE ring announcer.
I didn't watched the whole entire race since i was Busy moving Furniture around my house and didn't even knew who Stenhouse was even mad at until i saw the replay. Im not on neither side.. not on Ricky's or Kyle but the one thing i found incredibly hilarious about this whole fight is Basically Ricky pulling up to a Fight in some Sort of SpongeBob looking shorts 😂
I disagree that Busch is done. It looks more like an RCR problem. None of them are running well. Also no need for the punch. Kyle showed up, faced him and explained his side. Ricky took a cheap shot and waited hours to do it.
RCR is the problem, a program centered around Austin Dillion who is trash for so many years the program has suffered to the point of no return. Kyle Busch wasn’t gonna save RCR, Richard has made terrible decisions ever since letting Harvick Go. Kyle Busch would win 10 races a year in Hendrick cars
Anytime we get 2010s Kyle Busch to show up, things are gonna get good. But his and Ricky's fight tonight was what made the race truly memorable, and what were gonna be talking about for a long time to come. I love it!
I agree I don't blame Ricky tonight on lap 2 if the shoe was on the other foot Busch would have opened up swinging without any words so the fact that Ricky saying anything was stunning
And I love how North Wilkesboro raced tonight it was exactly what I wanted multi grove racing but again the short track package is a problem the lack of horsepower is a problem and the tires and 5 gears is a problem. Even the trucks did better than cup and I would bet that's why nascar doesn't want the Xfinity series to race their because it would steal the show because how much better they handle all track especially short tracks

I agree that Ricky had every right to be pissed at Kyle and swing on him, but I think you’re dead wrong when you defend the actions of his crew members. Two crews want to go at it, fine. Two drivers get in a fight, great. But multiple crew members attacking a driver, especially as he’s going to the ground, is unacceptable. Defending your driver and attacking another driver are two totally different things. Bush got what he deserved from Stenhouse, but beyond that I believe his crew members that jumped Kyle after should be suspended and or find.
Busch and Stenhouse have had bad blood for years, I still remember Kyle calling him “Wrecky Spinhouse”. It was just a matter of time and last night was a perfect storm of Kyle’s frustration with his performance and feeling raced rough by the driver he possibly likes the least. The sport needed this fight though to re-ignite things!

I know it wasn't amazing, but I will say that this was a breathe of fresh air. The racing WAS better than what we've gotten over the last 2 years, minus Bristol... I think it was a step in the right direction. We saw drivers able to catch and at least run side by side for multiple laps, and at times use the bumper. I think it is an overall improvement, just not enough. I love the two tire compound idea and I think that is a winning formula going forward for both short tracks and road courses, just needed to differentiate the compound difference more
I think kyle thought it was 2009, also please nascar bring the gen 6 car back for short tracks like please for the love of god the next gen cars are freakin awful on short tracks
I was there last year and this year. This year’s race was so much better than last year. I don’t know what Fox showed but several times cars were 3 wide and in both races. Give this track a points race in 2026 and there will be even more action. I can’t wait until the CARS Tour race.

One of my favorite things growing up with NASCAR was seeing the comers and goers. I would be watching lap times the whole race tryna figure out who’s falling off the pace and who saved their tires. Now there’s barely any tire wear and man my enjoyment for short track races is so down.
When Busch took out Ty Gibbs it felt kind of poetic tbh. The guy who replaced him at his old team, who happens to be running better than him almost every week. As I saw it happen, I couldn’t help but smile a tiny bit. lol
Jeez, people are harsh. This looked like a really good short track race. Could have used more cars on track but even with Logano dominating the race was competitive and cars were running side by side and leaning on each other.
The problem is the cars just can't pass. Joey couldn't pass Bubba, Buscher couldn't pass McDowell, Brad couldn't pass Blaney, Chase couldn't pass Suarez. Yeah, they were side by side, but all four of those "battles" went on for 20+ laps. These cars can't pass except for on restarts and pit road. That's a major issue.
@@spencerwright600 Passing is racing now? Why does everyone insist on it being easy to pass? Go watch F1 if you want to see easy passes. I want NASCAR drivers to work for it. Bubba Wallace worked his ass off to stay on the lead lap and wound up finishing sixth because of it, but apparently that's bad racing because Logano couldn't lap him. 20+ lap battles are boring now? While watching the Darlington race did everyone say, "Boy this sure would have been more awesome if Brad had just easily passed Reddick and drove away from him on that restart, then we wouldn't have to watch them smash doors giving Buescher a chance to pull a crazy 3-wide move for the lead, and we wouldn't have to sit through Reddick trying a dumb dive-bomb on Buescher."
"Busch wrecked Ty Gibbs" but proceeds to show Gibbs spinning without contact 🤣 I thought Ricky was making alot out of his own mistake until I realized he actually didn't put Busch in the wall
I think it went about as well as could be expected, considering that the tires didn't wear out like we hoped. That was a disappointment, but hey, at least they tried something other than screwing around with aero.
I actually like the idea of introducing different type of tires on more tracks and let teams figure out how they would want to use them. It would give more strategy options.

Wait... What???? Do you even watch NASCAR??? This has been going on for years. Like from when Ricky entered the cup series. He has earned the nickname Wrecky Spindhouse for a reason. The only reason he won the Daytona 500 was because he caused several crashes that took out several teams. Even Denny Hamlin has called him out in the past. He is the modern-day Servin Irvin. And Nascar has ALWAYS gotten involved with stuff like this. Hell, Bobby Allison, and Cale Yarborough, were both fined $10,000 for their Daytona fight. I see several 47 crew members getting suspended permanently for getting involved. I see Ricky getting a huge fine because not only did he swing, he planned it, Said he was going to do it with the "Richard Childress" comment, and waited for Kyle. And I see the 47 losing both Driver and Owner points. Kyle might get a small fine. What makes it really bad for Ricky and his crew, Ricky bragged he was going to do it on TV, and he and his crew waited for Kyle. His team should have kept Ricky away but instead joined in on it. That's why it will be so bad for Ricky.

Punchy Slaphouse Jr
No pass for the lead in either race, clearly who ever started first was going to win regardless of what happened
Very happy I didn't go to this race
8:15 no, this definitely doesnt mean penske is back lmao, he only won because he started on pole
Literally been sitting waiting for this video to post.
Was really waiting for the notification 🤣 was hoping it wasn’t going to be a Monday morning upload then I’d have to watch it at work hahaha
Sitting and waiting like Stenhouse
I was at the race and it was great in person. I have not watched the broadcast yet but the battles all over the track were fun to see in the open and the all star race.
The track raced well. They did a good job with the repave.Multiple grooves passing was possible. New tire did not play out as a expected. I think it highlighted the same problem that has always been there. Lack of damn horsepower. By the end of the race they were running the highline keeping momentum up. 1000 Horsepower will promote tire degradation And passing. It just needs to happen already.
Passing was not possible whatsoever
@@spencerwright600 Passing was going on throughout the entire field. Larson started in the rear. So did Wallace. Logano was the class of the field. That's why we didn't see a lead change. Believe me last thing I wanna see is a lagano win.
It's the lack of look on Andy Petree's face the whole time that leaves me laughing. First when Ricky went up on the box to give the 8 team his thoughts after parking it in the pit stall, and later in the garage by the hauler. Petree just stands there watching like a WWE ring announcer.
That fight was better than Tyson Fury getting knocked out
He didn't get knocked out.
I said the same thing. Homeboy got them from the kids section at Walmart
I disagree that Busch is done. It looks more like an RCR problem. None of them are running well.
Also no need for the punch. Kyle showed up, faced him and explained his side. Ricky took a cheap shot and waited hours to do it.
Bingo, had his whole dad there too 💀
Then his dad attacked Kyle as well. And Kyle is still Kyle. It is an equipment or team issue Kyle can always drive up front when things work for him
The fight has nothing to do with busch being washed
RCR and gen7 = crap show
RCR is the problem, a program centered around Austin Dillion who is trash for so many years the program has suffered to the point of no return.
I love it!
What a crazy fight for Stenhouse and Busch! Holy crap!
Stenhouse's tire mark is on Kyle Busch's fender in front of the number ....i guess it appeared out of no where
Ricki dad hanging off the back of Kyle Busch I never laughed so much Ricki dad yelling something that wasn’t English
I agree I don't blame Ricky tonight on lap 2 if the shoe was on the other foot Busch would have opened up swinging without any words so the fact that Ricky saying anything was stunning
Next season All-Star race short track package will feature red turtle shells and banana peels to make racing more exciting on track.
I'm going to say the cooler temps and new surface helped preserve the tires a little too much. I say bring the option tire to Richmond for a day race.
The day nascar cut practice is the day KB’s performance began its slow fall off the cliff to where it’s at now.
Busch Vs Stenhouse I’m here for it!
I always appreciate your opinion Eric and I often agree with you
Great day, Great night for "Yung Money" can't wait for 1100 miles next weekend...Go Team Chevy.
A3 - Woke Up This Morning (The Sopranos Anthem)
You woke up this morning
Got yourself a gun,
Mama always said you'd be
The Chosen One.
She said: You're one in a million
You've got to burn to shine,
But you were born under a bad sign,
With a blue moon in your eyes.
You woke up this morning
All the love has gone,
Your Papa never told you
About right and wrong.
But you're looking good, baby,
I believe you're feeling fine, (shame about it),
Born under a bad sign
With a blue moon in your eyes.
You woke up this morning
The world turned upside down,
Thing's ain't been the same
Since the Blues walked into town.
But you're one in a million
You've got that shotgun shine.
Born under a bad sign,
With a blue moon in your eyes.
When you woke up this morning everything you had was
gone. By half past ten your head was going ding-dong.
Ringing like a bell from your head down to your toes,
like a voice telling you there was something you should
know. Last night you were flying but today you're so low
ain't it times like these that make you wonder if
you'll ever know the meaning of things as they appear to
the others; wives, mothers, fathers, sisters and
brothers. Don't you wish you didn't function, wish you
didn't think beyond the next paycheck and the next little
drink' Well you do so make up your mind to go on, 'cos
when you woke up this morning everything you had was gone.
When ya woke up this mornin'
Woke up this mornin'
Ya, woke up this mornin'
Woke up this mornin', you wanna be
You wanna be the chosen one
(Yeah, you know what you're talkin' about)
You just can't help yourself, yeah
Woke up this mornin'
When ya, woke up this mornin'
(Woke up this mornin')
(Woke up this mornin')
Woke up this mornin' and
(My dreams gone bad)
Got yourself a gun (gotta hold, a-wind yourself up)
A-got yourself a gun
Got yourself a gun.
Got yourself a gun.
Got yourself a gun.
Got yourself a gun...

Stenhouse has every right to be mad but waiting outside Busch's hauler is just asking for trouble.
OH!!!
I just loved watching the constant battling for the lead, all those lead changes had me on the edge of my seat!!!
Now that’s an All Star race!!
Right?!!!
GMAB!
Bro, Ricky may be SHORTER than Kyle, but do you not see how stocky he is??
Kyle is the one fighting in the wrong weight class!
if you can call that fighting lol.
Good morning from germany! This got me awake well

You're counseling/therapy is paying off. Thank you for sharing your views.
🙃
I agree that Ricky had every right to be pissed at Kyle and swing on him, but I think you’re dead wrong when you defend the actions of his crew members. Two crews want to go at it, fine. Two drivers get in a fight, great. But multiple crew members attacking a driver, especially as he’s going to the ground, is unacceptable. Defending your driver and attacking another driver are two totally different things. Bush got what he deserved from Stenhouse, but beyond that I believe his crew members that jumped Kyle after should be suspended and or find.
This whole race was crazy 😭
More like lame
Busch and Stenhouse have had bad blood for years, I still remember Kyle calling him “Wrecky Spinhouse”. It was just a matter of time and last night was a perfect storm of Kyle’s frustration with his performance and feeling raced rough by the driver he possibly likes the least.
The sport needed this fight though to re-ignite things!
Nascar is on a tear, what a time to watch nascar
More people should be watching it this year
I’ve been watching since 2011 and I’m getting late cot and early gen 6 vibes from this season
@@TexasNightmare24 you guys really need to go back 30 years and see what real racing was and why attendance and viewership isn’t what it was then.

Nothing is wrong with Kyle; he's just in subpar equipment now.

BS! Excuses, Excuses.
That’s true but he did choose to go to RCR and won 3 races last year

Stenhouse learned from Danica how to fight.
That security guard. Dude is everywhere and nowhere
Stenhouse's crew went after kyle. I loved how Ricky suggested a charity boxing match. 😂
That wasn't a fight. That was a brawl.
A kerfuffle
Sucker punch rickie. Wouldn’t expect anything different from that screwup. Call a man out and go for it - sucker punch is a Danica move. Oh he would know that very well.
Eric is awesome, really awesome, but he doesn't seem like a dude who knows what an air compressor does.
He is given copy to read. I sincerely doubt sponsors pay him to say whatever pops into his head
Nice you got Thor’s lighting to sponsor. I do Jeep /off-roading videos on YT, a lot people are buying their compressors. Now they’re targeting NASCAR channels too
Also I very much enjoyed the race, surprisingly considering 22 dominated. I pull for chevys, Lajoie, and drivers from Ga and I still had fun
I think RCR is to blame for Kyle's downfall from success
Meanwhile, Ricky is the only downfall of his own success. I mean, he hasn’t even had success only three wins.. and the most recent one was pure luck on the final app getting through a crash.
Agree
When he made the move everyone was on the same level with the car and now they are not
Huh? No the downfall of kyle busch downfall is when he lost his identity in the 18. You thank gibbs for his downfall
Kyle was always overrated...if it werent for gibbs cheater toyotas he would have always been a mid-packer
@@bostonwarrior4824 the teams and equipment are to blame for. Honestly, JTG Daugherty should be putting more money into the team to make their cars faster, but they haven't.
Bring it gen 6 for all RACE tracks

I find it funny how ricky said he is mad because he isn’t as good as he used to be when kyle has over 100 more points than wrecky spinhouse
Didn’t even touch him. Glad he got his mouth shut.

A 9" inseam is absolutely not short, come on
I was there last year and this year. This year’s race was so much better than last year. I don’t know what Fox showed but several times cars were 3 wide and in both races. Give this track a points race in 2026 and there will be even more action. I can’t wait until the CARS Tour race.
You guys are delusional if you think kb loss that fight when stent first threw a cheap shot, missed(look at different angles) then said "get my dad" after kb is strangling/punching stendhouses dad despite stendhouses dad jumping on a Kyle still getting up from being knocked over
I’m sorry, but his dad shouldn’t even be involved in that fight. Would be like bob keselowski trying to fight Carl back in the day. lol let the drivers handle it, is ur daddy gonna hold ur hand and fight ur battle ur whole life
Kyle certainly didn't win😂😂😂🤷🤷🤷
@@whiteeyes3743 neither did Ricky. He needs to learn some boxing skills because that punch wasn’t even effective. It didn’t even do anything. Except make Kyle beat up his old man.
You're delusional if you think the punch the 47 threw was a cheap shot. They were face to face, KB saw it coming. Delusional is you guy.
@@3120DownForce it was a cheap shot. Have you ever heard of drivers talking and sorting it out through communication skills? Something you clearly don’t have… Ricky is from Alabama so he’s a redneck and doesn’t have the patience and has anger issues. Any other driver in the field would’ve talked out this doesn’t happen that often. Kyle and even the reporters didn’t even expect that to happen. So get educated.
That’s what I LOVE about sports and being a fan! Even if/when the game/race is a stinker, the athletes will make up for it by giving us a FIGHT! Reminds me of The Jerry Springer Show or hell, Happy Gilmore when Adam Sandler and Bob Barker at it which is how I came up with the metaphors of *The Booty Barker Treatment from The Price Is Right* and *Booty Barker Action from The Price Is Right* 😂😂😂 You’re the man Eric! Hope I meet you in person again at the next race I go to!
As a Joey logano fan I think this is the happiest I’ve been since Atlanta last year
Same. Let’s keep this momentum going to Charlotte
One of my favorite things growing up with NASCAR was seeing the comers and goers. I would be watching lap times the whole race tryna figure out who’s falling off the pace and who saved their tires. Now there’s barely any tire wear and man my enjoyment for short track races is so down.
Give Stenhouse Sr a break. Twitter is ripping him apart. That’s just a dad who loves and supports his son and has the 47 teams back. No more no less.
He’s on the payroll. He had to act like he was doing something. In the way
If you heard dad he was trying to diffuse. Kyle did not need to punch him. Classless.
@@charlieb8104he had his hands all over kyle but ok

When you have to bring your dad with you to hold off Kyle Busch. What a hack 😂
I love the move by KB. We need more of this.
KB took out 2!!
We’ll be watching clips from this season in every NASCAR compilation video for the rest of our lives
Jesus loves us.
True.
I think it went about as well as could be expected, considering that the tires didn't wear out like we hoped. That was a disappointment, but hey, at least they tried something other than screwing around with aero.
The race has potential just need the right arrow and horsepower package.
Agreed
I actually like the idea of introducing different type of tires on more tracks and let teams figure out how they would want to use them. It would give more strategy options.
Literally this is the only good moment in the All Star, the rest is totally forgettable
Are we not gonna talk about the Busch crew member that just picked up and moved 2 grown men off the trailer? That was impressive

Wait...
