1:03 it is subtle details like the guy closing the car door as he moves along the car that show how much effort the devs are putting into this game. It is a sign of quality and detail. Can't wait.

The Elder Scrolls games would benefit greatly from such a fantastic looking engine. The lighting, fire, smoke, and natural objects looks amazing.

At 01:42, I wondered why they were showing stock footage of a burning building and it took me all of two seconds to realize that this was the engine at work, not real life. The Division never caught my attention, but I might have to pick it up because these of how impressive these visuals are.
It looks fantastic, and the components wr have seen look great. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Imagine you can create and build stuff in this game. I believe it will have it. Taking over a house. Placings wooden parts to cover windows. Taking out the wooden door and placing it with a metal door. Traps around the house. Axe, holes,spikes, mines, and more. I believe this game will have that. It's survival and what better way to do it then having traps in your home.
I really doubt that. It's not designed to be a crafting survival game. It's meant to be Immersive, co-op world with a freedom of roaming. You don't just set up a home and create traps to survive, that'd be a stupid focus to have for the game developers as it'd add a whole lot of time in the development of the games. Don't get me wrong it would be great to have something like that in a game like this but not this game exactly.

gollom2004 Well I want this game badly, but if it's just roaming around doing quest, and pvp I cannot be satisfied. I hope they do some kinda pvp events or the dark zones expand, etc.
While that is a good idea, I don't think that's necessarily what they're going for with this game. It seems like this has a more military vibe to it rather than pure survival. If they did spend a lot of time working on things like that it'd probably just be marked off as another one of the millions of games like that coming out right now.
There would be some type of safe zone or safe house players can chill and talk and even join together to make their own little groups or factions

I am happy that Massive is designing Snowdrop and not ubisoft. I remember when I was working as a ***** for Sierra... I pretty sure the game is going to be awesome. I remember when we made World in Conflict... It was amazing for its time. The graphics were like wooohoo and the hardwares at that time couldn't handle it... :D

I hope this game will feature PhysX, 3D Vision, and game stream. I want to play this game as immersively as possible and when I really am in the urge to play I can grab a shield and just play it on the go.

I think they made the tough to decision to skip fish ai and instead, add gameplay. I mean, it is a really debatable decision on their half and some may argue fish ai is better than gameplay. In the end, I believe they made the best decision. I do wish they added dogs though

Not to be that guy, but when he said "Smart and not rely on brute force", isn't that a no brainer? I mean at least to me it seemed that.
Personally I'd love to see this engine, just to see how it was built, and to see how it works. How you can develop with it. The only other two I have gotten at least a snippet of were Source and FAllout's (which slips my mind). And they were impressive, so it's interesting to see how this was done
I see all these comments about downgraded graphics, these developers enjoyed making it better and making it since the beginning, if you don't like, let me see you make this game from scratch and see how you turn out! I believe the reason why this game has been help back, because we see Brooklyn, so my opinion, is that the bridges, Manhattan, water, detail, Brooklyn. That takes time to make sure everything is good and no complaints like Battlefront with sound problems, yes there might be a issue or 2 with the game, but I'm sure they will fix it right away, the beta is around the corner to see how you like it!!

If this only was singleplayer with a drop-in & drop-out system like Borderlands. This could easily break down GTA if they want too.

dam i really wanna play this game so badly with a group and survive :D i really wanna be a support class like a marksman sitting on a roof for example and cover your team mates while they are rushing a building and i can take overwatch and report if any other players groups are close :D

Wow, now I know why they aren't coming forth with the rumour that they haven't done much of the game, because it looks like it won't be much of a problem with the new engine as you always here how devs don't like other engines
I agree, maybe the snowdrop engine is also what allows them to build up the game even faster just like the guy in the video said, "its like playing with legos". So if thats the case, i see no problem of this game being released this year, maybe a week before this years black friday..that would be awesome

I love to be able to walk to a tree pull a branch down and grab a wet leaf and manouver the leaf into my characters mouth and watch a few drops of water roll off the leaf and into the characters mouth I'm not sure how hard this would be for a puppeter to do but i bet it would look awesome what do you think massive?

for me, in my opinion, that would defeat the magic of having no cars in the game, the world will seem bigger, more complex, perhaps real, fast travel will just shrink it. cool idea tho bro :)

Bad idea! What if other players fast travels to that same place you want to go to. That's automatically a shoutout , and would never feel like a survival game anymore. Your taking away realism away already. Single player roaming , I wouldn't mind fast traveling.
