Great video. I've never seen an MFJ-225 before. Learned a few new things here.

My application is suppressing RF noise from a off-grid solar power inverter. I have several type 31 clamp-on beads on the AC wires coming out of the inverter and each bead offers a one decibel reduction in noise on the 75 m handband so I've got about 20 of these which gets the noise down to a point where I can hear strong stations now but not the weaker ones. I still need a better solution as the interference is still quite strong.

you mention in this video that you will produce another video to build a better balun... I can't locate that video. Can you share the link?

@@brucesparrow5682 Mr. Sparrow, can we contact you if we have questions building baluns and chokes ? I have questions about two products, 2643 and 5943, that are the same mix (43) and same size (240) but I don't quite understand which product should I order.

Sorry but I don't think this is a practical way for a radio ham to test the balun, although it would be nice to play with these high tech toys if you have them. I would simply transmit 100 Watt though an accurate watt meter, through the 1:1 balum into a 50 ohm dummy load , measure the rf voltage across the dummy load, it should be close to 77 Volt, and calculate the loss.

Actually, it's a very practical way to test a balun .. he just did it wrong.

Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord? If not, please do so. The end times are here, and we are nearing the end. If yes, I would like to exhort you and me to walk in obedience to God's will every day. Have a nice day, and God bless!
