    great review and I am going to order. I have the stylo corrector pen from Chantecaille and I think this would pair very well with it. I recently started using a new base combo and wanted to suggest it to you as something to check out, it's so beautiful. It is the Chantecaille rose face tint mixed with a couple drops of Isdin Skin Drops. I love the rose tint so much and saw a video recommending this combo and it's wonderful. I only knew Isdin from their excellent sunscreen but this is also very well made. Downside is that there are only two shades so it's hard to recommend to many people, but we are very similar in shade so I think you would enjoy it.

      Cindy! I recorded the it concealer video forever ago and I’ve never gotten a chance to release it. I was actually thinking about releasing it tomorrow so you asking about it has kind of confirmed that decision to be honest. It’s a very good one medium. I’ll put that video out tomorrow for everyone to see. I better watch it again because it probably talks about how I reviewed three concealers this week and I didn’t. I forget that sometimes I hold these videos and they become outdated so quickly even though it was only like two weeks ago. Never ever ever apologize about a misspelling or a capital letter here or there. I use speech to text because I answer so many comments and honestly it makes me look illiterate. I try to catch all the mistakes but half the time I just hit send. Probably a bad idea. I had an issue once on Instagram where I told someone that I loved that shade on them and instead of typing the word shade it typed the profanity that starts with the same two letters and I was mortified. It was out there for weeks until I realized it because everybody was giggling and liking it thinking I was acting all sassy. So embarrassing.

    • @NotFitforPrintBeauty
      @NotFitforPrintBeauty  Год назад +1

      The color corrector would work underneath something like this. The Givenchy concealer itself would definitely cover up a color corrector but it wouldn’t have that same thinness as it’s a more traditional concealer. And a lovely one.

  • @michelleisabel
    @michelleisabel Год назад +1

    OK, Huda should be cutting you a check for this one!! That's brilliant!! I don't wear under eye concealer (although I need both the color corrector AND a concealer), but I work from home and no one sees me, and as you know I only wear tinted moisturizers and not foundation, so I always feel like a heavy concealer is too much to wear with a tinted moisturizer - kwim? If I did want one product to use under my eyes with tinted moisturizer, do you think I should use the Tarte corrector or the Huda concealer? I have very dark circles. I have the Dior Forever concealer and the one from Milk and never use either of them. The Dior is def too much with tinted moisturizer. Can you recall the Milk one? Just wondering how Huda compares. . .

    • @NotFitforPrintBeauty
      @NotFitforPrintBeauty  Год назад +1

      Hello Michelle! I absolutely recall the milk one. This is even thinner and more illuminating. I think you would like it for brightening. In fact I think you would like it very much for brightening …but it will not conceal, if that makes sense. But if you haven’t been concealing anyway, you might actually enjoy the brightness or you might prefer a product like the rare beauty under eye brightener that would have a teeny teeny teeny bit more coverage as well and not be an orange shade.

  • @krisushi1
    @krisushi1 Год назад +1

    Huda is hardly a brand that comes to mind when thinking of concealer. Luckily, I no longer require any colour correctors and those days are long gone. So, for me it's a nice medium/full coverage concealer with a touch of Burberry's powder gently patted over and my complexion is done. Although, I do add some bronzer for a sun-kissed look if appearing a bit pale. It's fairly rare that I wear such ultra-subtle highlighter. I prefer a touch of colour and this product wouldn't be of any use to me. Your foundation looks great Rebecca, and you're protected when you find yourself in a trench too! I still haven't seen it available online at Sephora, yet it's probably at some retailers. I'll always remember it for when I next purchase foundation, especially as both my concealer and powder are Burberry! Makes sense.🇦🇺💖🕊

      @@NotFitforPrintBeauty Don't forget you've got the La Brea tar pits and you are sitting on top of the San Andreas fault line! If the people don't get to you, nature will. Not exactly the safest place to live! At least I survived the two nights I spent there on a stopover when going to London and back - the long way round. I was travelling on a staff ticket and it happened to be an American airline that had the best deal. If a giant sink-hole opens up in LA, like in the telly series La Brea, the bright side is that you'd fall down and end up in my old hometown of Melbourne! That's where it was filmed. On a serious note, that foundation does look very good on you. I just remembered that it was Burberry eye make-up that I put on today and matching lippy from the Face Palette they released the Christmas before last. I'm always grabbing that for the blush and highlighter, yet today it was for the eye shadows that would scare the living daylights from you! With a bright orange/red and an intense yellow/gold shimmer, I couldn't see them as being No.1 on your 'to wear list'. It's a beautiful palette though and set up like the Tom Ford ones, except with the monogram packaging in gold all over. A nice matching red lip as well. I'm in love with their lipsticks too, especially the Pearl Kisses that were released along with the palette. I managed 3 from the 4 released, with back-ups of the 2 I could get my hands on. It's the first time I've ever bought back-up lipsticks. I also got the 3 released this Christmas with the Eye Palette in that gorgeous silver and gold monogram packaging. From everything I've tried from them, in my opinion, they can't do wrong. After buying the Eye Palette and Lipstick, I went on a mad buying spree and snapped up everything I could due to a bunch of items being reduced. It's very rare that luxury brands are ever reduced here, especially online. I picked the the fourth Dior Addict Lip Case with the Dior 8 shade lippy. I think the black one is just their regular one that they come in. As it's filmed from above, you can't see the plastic shine. Pretty misleading of them to call the white one 'White Canvas' as I was expecting canvas Cases like the Miss Dior pair released last year. Instead, they're all a vinyl feel. I discovered why one was priced so high above the others, it's an exclusive to Dior only. Anything for an extra buck! They also had the cheek to use my review at No.1 from the release of the Denim, Pink and Silver Cases. I did tell them that I won't ever review again after they refused to change my last review of the gold case that their computer changed from 5 starts to one! They got a glowing review, yet these idiots who can't read gave me a bunch of thumbs down instead. At least, when you see my review it states that it's from 10mths ago plus I described the cases which is a clear give away. That's why it's not a good idea to tick me off, I never forget. They learnt that from one review. Anyway, stay safe with Burberry and I'll know that your okay. (Told you I'll never forget the Trench Protection Technology!😉)💖

    Question: did you see the Wayne Goss video where he used the Huda Beauty “doe foot applicator” concealer as foundation? I was going to pick that up during the VIB sale and give it a try. Have you used that concealer and how does it compare to this one? I am also getting the Tarte color correctors but maybe I should get the green one now so I can see how heavy it is and what it takes to cover it. I have red pits of despair under my eyes. Kind of the color of Twizzlers. Lastly, why does everything remind me of candy (am searching through drawer for candy as I type this)?

    • @NotFitforPrintBeauty
      @NotFitforPrintBeauty  Год назад +1

      I did a review of that Huda concealer quite a while back when it first came out and I like it very much. I end up not using it a lot only because unfortunately I have too many products that get in the way and kind of wind up on top of it but I was very impressed with the amount of coverage and I do think it would be lovely as kind of a spot treatment foundation. I will have to find Wayne’s video and watch it. The concealer that she released about, what was it? Six months ago? A year ago? Is definitely a medium to full coverage and this is beyond light. This is pretty much no coverage whatsoever. So there honestly is no comparison and this one has a lot of luminosity to it whereas the other is pretty straightforward concealer. I think the green would be great if you have redness under the eyes and I also think that twizzkers are delicious. I don’t actually like twizzlers but if you put them in front of me I will eat the entire package because while you’re eating them they are delicious. They’re not generally something I crave but right now I am craving them. So I am very glad that we have had this discussion of two very important things, Candy and concealers.

This would make sense to me if you were not going to wear foundation, but putting the corrector on top of foundation means you need an extra product on the skin on top of that, which seems heavy to me. Sorry if I am missing something, I am just honestly confused.

      No problem at all! Great question. I did say it in the video but I think it needs to be stated again for sure. Generally yes it is color corrector and then foundation and concealer but some people do concealer and then foundation and, depending on the color of your color corrector you can do it all last as well. If you are using green to color correct, it’s best to use it under foundation but with the peach shade that I use it’s totally fine on top of foundation. It’s just experimentation and preference. There are no hard rules but green over foundation generally will still look green so I do agree with it there. I hope that makes a little more sense but ask any other Questions.
