Nice video, this is my first time watching a prize pack opening! Stamped Chien-Pao would be my choice for a deck, but a holo Drifloon or Wailord would be adorable for a collection.

I wish Yu-Gi-Oh! OTS Packs were structured like this honestly! Even if you don’t hit big with these Pokémon Prize Packs, it’s just nice seeing that you can at least count on getting playable cards instead of them just being mostly chaff and maybe just one or two chase cards

I think my best pull from a prize pack was a chien pao ex play stamp. Love the content as always. I ran trekking shoes when I started playing locally too. Been getting cards for my deck piece by piece.

You just attend a local tournament and get one for playing. Some stores give extra if you do really good.

I pulled the Charizard ex from a prize pack after leagues a couple weeks ago. Now I'm trying to complete the full set.

I'd like to make a suggestion for a future video, for tips for playing in real life vs. online.
Things like etiquette on how to communicate your actions, both verbally and visually with markers, etc. Do people use some sort of marker to indicate they've manually placed energy, used a supporter, used abilities? Stuff like that.
I understand you're allowed to take notes during a match, but I'm not clear on the rules around that if any. Can you have any pre-written notes or do you need to start with a blank page? I would definitely find it helpful to have a little table in the corner for how much damage my Chaizard will do based on # of prize cards, or my Drifloon so I'm not sitting there re-checking the math in my head every time do be sure about how many energies I need to attach with Gardevoir lol.
I play a lot with my 7yo son, and we've played with some others on a casual play night at a local game store. We intend to go again and I'd like us to work on this stuff. I think it would help him too, to be clear on what he's done so far in a turn. The store we like recently moved to a larger location for gameplay space, and is working on getting approved for official events.
I got my son set up to play online on my wife's iPad (not available on his fire tablet annoyingly lol), and I've been playing on my phone. So we've definitely been getting a lot more practice in thanks to the online game, but it certainly holds your hand a lot on indicating and allowing actions that you don't get in real life.

Best one I got is when I pulled a ampharos ex from first pack of series 4. It surpassed the umbreon vmax from series 1
Really like these series, i’ve put all the brilliant stars cards from series 2 & 3 in my masterset. Looks really cool, with the vstar 🎉

Giratina vstar was my best pull from a prize pack series 3 (sadly the only type so far that I’ve opened).
I would love to pull the Umbreon VMAX from the prize pack but unfortunately those packs are getting pretty hard to find.
Insane pulls, only thing I’ve managed to get out of series 4 is a chien pao stamped card 😢

Best pull so far would be a forrest seal stone as I didnt have one but I got it from an entry pack right before I was about to play in a tournament so did a last minute deck change now that I had one

Best pull I’ve gotten is either Lugia V or Palkia VStar. Only got back in to the hobby in august and started playing the TCG for the first time in the new year. Been really cool seeing fellow Torontonians, think I saw you once at a 401 free night but I didn’t think it was you until you posted a video with Sergio as I played him that night lol
