Hey, thanks man. After one year, my charging port wasn't working, period. Instead of going straight to buying a new device, I did this, and couldn't have without your help. You're a lifesaver
Hi, great video, helped extremely to get my A53 back to life. Unfortunately it now does not connect to WLAN any more. Acutally it states that is is connected to my home WLAN, but whatever page I select the browser states that there is no internet connection. I rechecked all connectors, they are all well connected. Any idea?
The 2 black screws holding the charging port in place looked like slightly different lengths. I decided not to put the longer looking one in, so I put the shorter on in the converter hole. It works, but I need to find out if those 2 are different so I can go back in and secure the port better. Other than that, it's great.
what an awful experience with this phone, never had an issue like this before. The phone just wouldn't let me charge it showing me a warning how the charging port is wet even though it wasn't wet at all and it was safe to charge. I had to charge my phone before going to sleep so I started poking into the charging port trying to make the stupid sensor stop detecting whatever was there, and I must have broke it for real. I need to access my pictures for work and I can't, I've never been so angry at a phone. I give up trying to fix it, it's hammer time and it's going to feel great.

Great to hear that
Great instructions! Got it apart waiting for parts. If replacement parts work I think we will be good to go! Thanks.
Glad it helped
Hi, thx for the Video. I damaged the lcd cable because i forgot to add heat for removing from the charging board. Is the lcd Cable also replacable?
Lcd cable will be hard, not the main flex right?
@DIYGeardo yes, lcd cable. Ordered a new display. Think thats my only option
