It's surprising that all food processors, other than Preethi Cosmo, don't provide a dicing blade which is so important, considering we mostly dice veggies for curries
Great video! We have the Preethi Zodiac Cosmo and we love it for these reasons not mentioned in the video: 1. Locking mechanism for all jars' lids. This is a game changer since my wife is always scared that things might burst out of the jar during grinding. 2. Transparent lids for all jars allow us to see how much more to grind/process without opening the lid. 3. Excellent build quality. All jars and attachments feel sturdy.
I also brought this with same intention within a month motor locking was replaced and later transparent processor got replaced by new one within a year. Function what they given are really good but process jar is not at all durable . I don’t suggest this sorry for the negative comment .
Excellent video. Direct to the point information with no BS. One thing I would like you to add for your future videos in this segment to consider the noise these units makes while grinding. It is a really important factor while deciding for some.
It's such a nice video. Comparing so many options in one video! I had zeroed in on Preethi cosmos due to its diving capabilities but didn't know how to cross check with all other options for the same function. Your video compared so many models which helped me very much! Thanks for such a valuable content. 👏👏
Too good video!! like always to the point. Wanted to check akka, for a family of 3-4; is there any one that has dicing function apart from preethi zodiac cosmo? also any noiseless versions?
Pl consider the main fault of gap between disk n bowl make the last residual part falls down in the main bowl in Murphy n Bajaj n so many others. Preeti has I think no problem. Usha has special holding disk for that so no problem. Beta using food processor since 1990. :) so I gave few tips
I got a very simple description. I found only the shape description of the food processors but no purchase information in your video. Don't mind please
I have earlier used a Philips food processor whose build quality was good and the jar lids had clips so that we dont have to hold the lid in place with our hands. Philips 1660 had a centrifugal juicer as well. Now Philips seems to have discontinued those. Maybe they want us to buy two or three machines for different purposes. I hear that the build quality of Usha is not as good - I dont know. I see that Usha 3811 has a better grater attachment but 3810 has an additional french fries cutter. Can you buy 3810 and buy the fine grater blade of 3811 and use in it? An ideal FP would have all the following in one machine - 1. Dry grinding 2. Wet grinding 3. Chutney jar 4. Chopper 5. Slicer 6. Grater 7. Kneader 8. Whisk 9. Citrus juicer 10. Centrifugal juicer 11. French fries cutter 12.. Coconut scraper 13. Dicer If all functions except heavy duty wet grinding and coconut scraping are available in one FP, one can buy that and the Elgi wetgrinder with the coconut scraper attachment but the total cost of the two will be upwards of 15000 I guess. Please give your thoughts on this and on the build quality of the different products.
We have Usha FP 3811 snd its boby just gave up as the whole motor mechanism is tied on three plastic mould points and they are not mounted at the bottom!
Appreciate your video really. However, you went through the features of all so quickly that ultimately it was a jumble of information. I at least couldn’t make out which is the best. I think you selected the whole world of FPs - too many. You should have made 3 price bands (cheap, medium, high range) and chosen up to 3 in each range. Then you could have explained pros and cons of each.
Get one with a higher wattage to avoid overheating that happens when you make peanut butter and long run time . If that is your main need, a mixer grinder is sufficient for you. Here are my top recos amzn.to/4d5KPhF or in the premium segment, consider hamilton beach - amzn.to/4d8v5L4
@TheGrapevineIndia I have a homestay and we have continous requirements of slicing onion, carrots, cucumber for making salads, omlettes and other curries. Which would be the best choice for a lung run and with less noise?
As usual great research. You did not mention about the cleaning, although you did mention about multiple jars so more maintenance, but how easy it is if we start day today using these food processors? 🤔 BTW, most indian married men are, the best food processor, does Slicing, dicing, kneading, grating, scrapping, what not 😂
Pls everyone check the customer support then go to buy a food processor because I bought Morphy Richards a year ago now my 2 jar plus cuppler has broken but I can't replace it because it is not easily available in market and no service center in local area.
I recently bough Preethi Zodiac and aftre using for a week, Below are my observations: 1.It produces more sound 2.Its build quality is inferior 3.I made juice , but was giving plastic smell .I think its the juicer tap lid. I am watching this video to replace and consider other options.. I am thinking to go with philips.
May apkay video dekhta hu mgr aap plz hindi may or marathi may channel start kijiye.....english jada nhi smj ata...but apka b5anay ka teika sahi hey...plz start hindi at least

How do you feel about sound it produces?

Pls suggest the food processor’s that have variable speed functions (very slow) like the hamilton beach or kitchen aid.
Really great video, i was looking for this one on net for days.. 😊
You didn't consider dish-washer friendliness! Preethi is not dishwasher friendly!! That's a deal breaker despite their desirable dicing feature
Please make a video on stand mixers, is it good for kneading dough in an Indian kitchen ?
I also want to know.
Will plan!
What about vidiem tusker?
How about Croma 1000 watt food processor?
As usual great research.

Haha! Jar and blades are easy to clean - like any other mixer jar. Storage is a problem as there are just so many components
I want a combination of mixer grinder and food processor for a family of maximum four.I am bit confused, Can u suggest?
How is Ronald food processor?
You can consider one of these amzn.to/3V0msMm or amzn.to/2XxBSw0

I watched this video and bought the Preethi zodiac cosmo but coconut chutney is extremely hopeless with pieces always.

Don't buy inalsa
Any particular reason?
Usha one we are using since two years. Pathetic service and pathetic processor
Strange we’ve had positive experience with USHA
You missed Preeti manufacturer
Preethi was included and part of the recommendations too 😀
