Uh, Olli, if you look at the vertical G's that the train is put under, i think your riders will pass out before they even get to the end of the first line of loops. The lowest it gets to is 7 G's, and it peaks at nearly 60 G's. Sorry to go nerd/geek but i thought i might mention that.

I'm a fan of street racing games. Years ago in RCT3 I tried to make a long ass kart race track that would look like rural public roads with cool landscapes (hills, lakes, greenery, buildings etc.) but as realistic looking as possible in an old grid based game. Used some ideas from other games (NFS Carbon canyon roads for example) and real life.
Found some Planet Coaster kart tracks on RUclips but those aren't the same thing

This is probably obvious, but I believe the slower you go, the more time you spend on the loops, and therefore.... the more you slow down.
Which is why, if you're going at about 150 mph, you'd only on the loop for a fraction of a second, so, you'll probably only lose about 2 mph.
When you're going about 40 mph, you'll spend more time on the loop, which means you'll slow down even more.
The same would apply to slopes. If you start going up a slope at 200 mph, you'll be on the slope for a short time, and therefore, the speed won't decrease. If start the slope at a lower speed, you'll be on the slope for longer. In turn, the slope also lowers your speed, meaning the slower you go, the longer you're on the slope, and the longer you're on the slope, the slower your speed will go, and, well, you get the idea.
