HB refers to the "softness" of the lead in the pencil. HB is my preferred lead due to the fine balance of darkness vs less breakage. Spoken by a former pencil drafter!
Came to the comments to say this.
HB is slightly to the harder end of medium on the spectrum.
From an old time architectural draftsman, HB lead smudges too much on velum.

I would definitly go with knipex no comparison the only thing the harbor freight does better is the warranty but with the knipex there should be no reason to use their warranty i have never broken one.

So many other farm stores only sell the homeowner grade junk for outdoor power equipment but L&M stocks all the professional models

I have two of the ICON 8 in. Fast-Adjust, Push-Button Slip-Joint Pliers, one for the tool box and the other for my truck's tool bag, and I love them. I have used them a lot and they look and work the same as when they were new. AND, yes, if I happen to actually break one I just get it replaced at HF!
I know it's just another $8 but throw in the lifetime HF warranty and I go with the ICON.
Re Knipex vs Icon pliers: Look at the slip button sizes on both, Icon's is much larger and concave for your thumb.
I did the Icon twin grip when they had that "Buy 4 items and get 25% off" coupons and this was one cheaper item to get 25% off a larger item. I am VERY happy with them and yes Knipex is pretty cool but happy with the deal I got for 90% the same pliers... with a lifetime waranty
The best comfort grip ratchet on the market is the Snap On hard handles. They are incredible.
I have a 1968 GMC C1500 LB. I’m slowly adding modern stuff like dash cam, rear cam, back up cam. Slowly working on a complete BT stereo system, so I don’t have to cut the metal. I like that kind of tech.
I have the Metabo HPT job site saw. It's great, but at close to 100 pounds, I'm not lifting it and putting it on a hook. That's what the integrated wheeled cart is for.

Except for a little extra detail on the case, I have a Gooloo 4000 jump pack that looks and functions exactly like that AstroAI pack. It's a very solid unit. I haven't tried it on a diesel, but we have an '84 Winnebago with a carbed 454 that I had to jump because dad forgot to plug it in over the winter. It was 35 degrees out and the jump pack started it like it was sunny and 75 :D

I just love it when they say that these contour gauge it brand new. I played with one back when I was a little kid, and I'm your age now. (It was back in the early 70s, and it was metal, not plastic)
I happened to wake up a half hour before HFT opened on Monday, and checked what their sale is this week. My latest 2 year membership expires on Thursday. The deal today was 30% off As-Is and Clearance items, 40% off for members. I got there 5 minutes after they opened, and nobody had grabbed any as-is orange tag stuff yet.
So, should I get the $400, 26 gallon ultra-quiet oil-free Fortress 175psi compressor for $136.49?
Or the tool bear's favorite Daytona low/long jack in bright green for $89.99?
Normally I'd say both, but let's just say Prime Day had taken a toll on my toy budget.
And I'm not looking for a hernia carrying that jack around, nor do I need one that big.
I took the compressor, so now I have the 1 gallon Fortress, and for less than $10 more than what I paid on sale for that, I got the 26 gallon beast now.
Within 10 minutes, I saw a guy with the jack in his cart.
Would the compressor run well enough for me to not return it within the 5-day return window on as-is orange-tag items? Worth a gamble. Flipped down the right rear passenger seat and slid the monster into my Prius Prime for the ride home.
It clearly was a return, maybe by someone treating the restocking fee as the cost of a rental. Great cosmetic shape, except for some paint/gunk handprints on one of the handles, and a bit of mud on the wheels and the bottom of the tank. Also, one of the wheels was rubbing against the tank, so it was like wheeling it around with a brake on. At home, I added a couple of washers to space the wheel away from the tank, so it wheels around perfectly. Then I cleaned off the paint/gunk with a green kitchen scrubber/sponge. Used a free HFT bucket full of water and a brush, to clean the wheels.
I did those things after running the compressor through its paces..... kind of late for break in, so let's call it proof testing. 15 minutes running with the drain valve fully open, 10 minutes each with the drain valve adjusted to have the tank hold 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150psi. It ran like a charm. Then I blew off everything in my car's engine compartment, topped up my car tires, did the cleaning/repair chores on it, and then refilled the tank to 175psi, and did one final tip/drain to get out the last bits of water.
Bingo, I have a compressor good enough to have me ready for the next super bargain on a plasma cutter.
I love my Doyle and icon, but there is just no comparison to the knipex. If you're on a budget, absolutely do not be afraid to get the other options, but if you can afford it definitely get the knipex.
I know it's definitely a "your mileage may vary" deal, but gosh darnit I was so excited. I have been looking for a delta Cruzer (zero rear clearance saw) for at least 3 years and I have just never been able to justify the cost. I found a standup guy on Facebook marketplace that was selling the 10" Delta Cruzer with a Rigid miter saw stand on wheels for $250 big ones. I cannot believe I finally got this saw and with a stand to boot. Love the videos as always. Can't wait for Red to make a return 🤣
The EGO stuff is probably good but so is Greenworks which is also Atlas at Harbor Freight. If you catch the “buy a battery, get a free tool” deals, you can get the self propelled mower, 2 batteries, and two tools of your choice for the same $570. Chainsaw, string trimmer, polesaw, etc.
At Napa, I grabbed the Craftsman fan for $31. I also got the 25 & 16 ft Craftsman tape measures for $12 for both. Sweet deals!
I have the nulaxy wireless in-car bt adapter. Works great even when you broke your antenna off (broke off inside the base mount, so I need to replace everything. Just haven't done it yet.) The volume is a little low, so you need to crank up the volume for RUclips videos.
For the Dewalt XR drill combo, the charger that comes with it is their best rapid charger that retails for $89.
In Norway now shopping Wera and Knipex at Depot like Bauhouse store…. prices are too high to buy here

I have knipex sets coming, i wasnt going the save money route. I bought them on amazon vs snapon truck to save 40-50% and gave up the quick warranty option. Wanted to get texton with my order but needed knipex style and wanted the quality

What i would want to know is if you can use that cheapest Ecoflow effectively and efficiently as a UPS?
I would not go with a series one but anything "2" can do that. Just need to make sure it can output the power you need. Like for my Workstation I use the Delta 2 Max because I'm drawing a ton of power.

I’d buy one of those table saws like Metabo if someone could sell me the platform tables that surround it to cut things like plywood. It seems nobody sells those. A person could create a nice little cottage industry making things like this for people. Platforms for table saws, tool holders for things like circular saws, reciprocating and oscillating saws, grinders, hand held belt sanders, etc. I had to make these things myself, but would have gladly paid for these if someone made and sold them.
I actually did run to lowes and that flex deal was nowhere in sight….

Yeah it makes is SO much easier. However you do give up a bit of grip so use on really tight bolts use the straight end to break it lose and the other end to remove it.
