The reason why radio waves fade out is that the energy carried by the wave or which it was emoted with fades out. So if you give the signal enough power(energy) it can travel further distances.
if it is emmited from a point, then its energy is spread among the area of surface of a sphere around that point.
so if it had power P, then any square unit will get power = P/4*pie*r^2
which means power is proportional to 1/r^2
But radio waves fades out very late compared to other higher frequencies .... whereas Jaby thought opposite...!!

Nah she made a few blunder theories. I explained all that in my other comment on this video. They literally bullshitted with theories like the uncertainty principle, law of gravity, special theory of relativity, general theory of relativity and also the concept of space time. So they kind of gave wrong view about these basic laws of physics. But nevertheless I don't blame them I see most people get them wrong anyways. And all this is based on that there was a big bang in the past. But quantum mechanics doesn't accept the presence of a singularity. So all of the scientific community is actually believing that this telescope might be a bridge between the two sides of a coin which are general mechanics and quantum mechanics.
I love these space based reactions.
In general seeing us(humans) getting excited to find ETI(Extra Terrestrial Intelligence).
It need not even be about ETI, science in general in fascinating. Space tech has led to so many amazing discoveries in multiple fields!

4:32 yes light looses energy. Energy of a light is related to its wavelength. Afterr traveling long distance light is stretched. So a light wave in Ultraviolet spectrum range has a small wave length thus has more energy than visible light (which has bigger wavelength). So as universe is expanding (it is more prominently seen to be between galaxies, within galaxy the expansion is not that much as gravitation force bound the things of a galaxy almost at those same distances) with expanding universe as light travels between galaxies in empty space(no Normal matter is present) it is stretched and as it starches it's wavelength increases. And we already know wavelength is related to energy. So light looses energy.

Personally I loved the stephen hawking approach, where an adjacent black hole (weak one) or a neutron star, if revolved by a space ship with speed of light ? Would send us back years younger than the people that were same as our age when we left earth. Farfetched but intriguing.

Ever heard of the term called as research? Tumko agar kisine school ya uni me Hubble Telescope pe project ya presentation banane ko bola, they dont expect you to be a scientist, they expect you to do research and then make a presentation on it. Ukso har cheez ka gyan nahi hai, he has a research team which does research on a particular topic and then he curates that information (before having that team, he himself used to do that).

10:20 so what he meant was that we are trying to see the far away things, the light coming from far away but the infrared light from the nearby will fall on the mirror and then on the sensor, by which the picture, the information the light we want to see will be not what we want it will be mixed with the light that came off the James webspac e telescope it self and from other nearby object, sun most prominently. It is like you want to see something but someone is lighting a torch on the side or in front of you who make it difficult to see at that spot specially but also affect vision of other points too. For example you are on a road in your car and someone coming has a light on his/her car so as that vehicle approaches you the light from the vehicle's led or bulb blocks (not exactly block but interferes with other light and it is as it blocks) our vision from seeing other things and as that vehicle is passed the from that vehicle is no more coming to your eye and you can see other things again.

James web telescope has already shared many earth like candidate planet from different unipolar or bipolar solar system outside of our galaxy. It is always fascinating when we see space science trying to solve deeper problem.

Jaby, just to answer the question you asked in between. To peer deeper back into time we need an infrared sensor because the light emmitted at that time has travelled so far that now that light has got stretched and can't be seen by other telescope. So, now with JW telescope we can capture that light. Hence, looking back further into time.

And the Type of radiation a thing emits is directly related to the temperature of the thing. So if the telescope has higher temperature it will emit higher energy waves which have lower wavelength. As the JWT will be at very low temperature it will emit lower energy waves way Lower than infrared. So that it doesn't interfere with the picture.

yeah so the fact at 17:00 is actually untrue and kind of mis concept/bait (for a good tagline for a video) as no photon which is generated in the core reaches the surface of the sun. the more appropriate question would be how much time energy takes to reach from sun's core to surface but even that is not accurate . so actually the que is wrong and if there was a way for a photon to reach sun's surface from its core without getting absorbed then it would take 2.32 seconds to reach the surface and then 8 minutes to reach earth

But that is not possible as per current understanding.
