师徒二人来到观音院，金池长老盛情接待。悟空向长老炫耀袈裟，长老顿起贪心，将袈裟借回房中观赏。金池长老为占据袈裟，命众僧纵火，想要烧死唐僧师徒。悟空到南天门向广目天王借避火罩，保住师父，又吹起神风，将观音院烧成一片瓦。长老羞愧惶恐，跌入火中，自焚而死。宝袈裟早已被黑风山的熊怪趁火打劫而去，并想开“佛衣会”炫耀宝物。悟空请来观音，收服了黑熊怪。

《西游记》中国古典四大名著之一，明代小说家吴承恩所著中国古代第一部浪漫主义长篇神魔小说。主要描写孙悟空、猪八戒、沙僧三人保护唐僧西行取经，沿途遇到八十一难，一路降妖伏魔，化险为夷，最后到达西天、取得真经的故事。

To anyone here from Black Myth: Wukong, this episode is where the gameplay footage takes place: Black Wind Mountain.
Interesting to note that Guangzhi (the monk who appears to be Elder Jinchi's second-in-command) is portrayed as a Wolf Yaoguai in the game. In that case, I assume that he was one of the Black Wind Demon's minions too.
Out of the 3 Tang Seng’s actors, this actor is my favorite
Lol when I was a kid I didn't even recognize there're more than one actor of Tang Seng and so didn't many Chinese.

That one disciple is pretty wicked for a buddhist monk. First he induced the abbat to kill Tang Seng, and then he even put all the blame on him
Well, I mean it's not like the Abbot needed much convincing.
Plus he knew about his Patriarch being in collusion with the Black Wind Demon too.

From what I've heard, the game's story is set after the original JttW storyline. This particular temple was featured in the gameplay demo. The temple was rebuilt, but there are no monks or pilgrims around since the fundamental faith that the structure represented had rotted away (replaced with greed).
As Blue Fangs (a demon from the Castlevania show) would say, "It is an empty box."

好像这集东海龙王是第一个唐僧演的
这是第一个唐僧汪粤，先拍了几集试播，不是按集数顺序来的。这个上学去了，前面几集那个徐少华是第二个。
这集其实是最早拍的，甚至还有一集试拍，当时猴子不是六小龄童演的，一点猴样没有，之后那集就被毙了，之后杨洁上马，才有了现在这一批演员。汪粤是第一个唐僧，只演了三集就走了，之后是徐少华，最后是迟重瑞
