To be fair, for a console that's now 13 years old, the 360 graphics are pretty decent. To think if you went just another 13 years prior to that and you're then in the 16-bit era is kinda scary.

The colors look much more realistic on the Xbox 360 version. Every video I've seen of GTA 5 graphics mods has over saturated colors. The stock colors are perfect, IMO.
Suppose you like b&w tvs too. How can you not see the improvement its far better on the PC. Look at the rocks and trees and the water the detail is immense regardless of the colour.
Stewart Scott Oversaturated coloring is technically lower quality. Colors on the brightest and darkest extremes all become solid colors instead of having slight variance between them. There is more contrast, but it comes at the expense of losing colors.

You obviously don't need to spend 10 thousand dollars to play on PC at this quality. Definitely more than you'd pay for a console but I'm guessing you have both a console and a $500-$1000 computer or laptop. Build a PC with the price of both and you get a powerful machine which can do whatever you want it to.

That's what I was thinking. I've never played GTAV, but just looking at the 360 version makes it look dry & earthy; kinda drab, with overcast weather & dusty roads. The mod makes it look like something you'd see in a heavily-Photoshopped national park brochure. It's sharper, no doubt, but the landscape looks too fertile, and the oversaturated lighting almost hurts your eyes.

Not only does it look like ass imo, if this was how the game was developed, most of the people would not have the required specs to actually play it and thus, Rockstar would lose out on a large portion of the sales as a result. A disaster in other words. Higher resolution does not make a game look better in my opinion, I just played RDR which is an 8 year old game for console only, and it looks absolutely still. The resolution is terrible for todays standard, but it doesnt matter, it is the entirety that counts, how the world is designed and constructed, not how high the resolution is on a sinlge texture. Thank god Rockstar knows this.

The water in the original reacts to the boat well, in the Upgraded PC version the water is stiff. Also there must be a hell of a strong wind in those trees. That is one super blue sky too. Dope as hell where this is going though! I am excited for the future! 👌🏼😎

Makes it look unrealistic imo. They put way too many trees in the Grand Senora, and the trees they added don't even look like they belong in a desert. I understand adding more to areas like Paleto Forest and whatnot but in the desert they just look off. Not to mention the constant swaying is pretty annoying. It's not windy 100% of the time.

lol Idk why I felt the need to go to this video to say this but I think I'm the only one who almost always (pretty much everytime) I prefer the vanilla games graphics over these mods. That's for any game. There are artists that take years to craft the way the game looks and putting a filter over all that hard work to make a game shiner and bluer doesn't make it better.

Dwild1 Skyrim vanilla looks garbage. Bad lightning, low res textures that look blurry at ultra. Shadow view distance at max and some shadows still pop in 5 meters ahead at you. Lod looks potato. This is all easily fixed with mods.
Realistic does not mean better graphics, people always get the two confused. The PC version looks more appealing, but the 360 version looks more realistic in terms of the low contrast and dry climate NOT saying that the 360 version looks better, but the PC mod looks a bit too surreal. Nowadays with those graphics comparison thumbnails, it feels like you can show somebody the two same images, increase the contrast on one, and that person will favour the one that looks more vibrant

Go back to GTA:San Andreas and the infamous orange sky--its not like Rockstar couldn't have made it any other color, they just wanted to make fun of smog. The PC mod does have sharper detail and more trees everywhere, but it also has a Final Fantasy color palette.
If you look at the car names on the pc you'll notice they're not comparing the same game (example- there's no range rover in GTA5). The pc version is a mod option (with upgraded graphics), not the actual game you're seeing on the xbox
It's pretty cool knowing one day this is how graphics will be for a GTA game (I know PC players can already use mods but I mean this is how the game will come standard)

Vanilla GTAV just looks murky at lower resolutions, always has. Even at 4k with high settings the color palette isn't particularly realistic or attractive. Most of the graphics mods on PC fix this by actually making the sky blue as it should be.

Why are the skies on PC bright solid blue? Like someone went on MS Paint and picked blue with the paint tool. In California, our smog gives a grayish, blue silver color to the sky.
For a game representing LA county id say the PC version you're showing is definitely in 4K. The images are crisp but they do lack the drab/less saturated palette of the XBOX 360 counterpart and, for some reason, the atmospheric perspective that would make the elements in the horizon more hazy. I've never seen so many rich greens and blue skies in LA.

Obviously PC version is nicer (more expensive hardware, mods...) but essentially is the same game. It’s up to you if is worth to spend 10.000€/$ just for getting a graphic improvement (yeah and more FPS, sorry) in all games, but only that, because the most important part of all this is if those games keep the reason of it’s own success (accurate controls, good story, enjoyable experiences, balanced duration, great multiplayer etc) and you can get that with a cheaper system. With 300 or 400$ you can get the possibility of playing a bunch of games, with extra 9600$ can make those games look better... so you decide if is a strong reason to pay such a high price for that. BTW I enjoy playing PUBG on my tablet as much as in my expensive PC, that’s why I write this comment.

Exactly my point. The sky color is exaggerated, and the blacks are crushed and the whites are overexposed. Any detail you could see in the 360 version is now gone by crushed blacks.

The water in the original reacts to the boat well, in the Upgraded PC version the water is stiff. Also there must be a hell of a strong wind in those trees. That is one super blue sky too. Dope as hell where this is going though! I am excited for the future! 👌🏼😎

Makes it look unrealistic imo. They put way too many trees in the Grand Senora, and the trees they added don't even look like they belong in a desert. I understand adding more to areas like Paleto Forest and whatnot but in the desert they just look off. Not to mention the constant swaying is pretty annoying. It's not windy 100% of the time.
OlGravyLegs another thing I noticed is that some parts of the road have rainy textures I mean it's like they have water and the moment the vehicle crosses above them, it's unrealistic because it doesn't make that effect when the car crosses the water

ClubGaming Well, the pc has mods on so it infinitely looks better. The best feature about the pro is that you can play games at 1080p60fps if you don't have a 4k TV. The slim is basically a slightly faster version of the old ps4.
The slim is just a redesigned model of the original PS4. It isn't faster. You're probably thinking of the Xbox One S compared to the OG Xbox One.

lol Idk why I felt the need to go to this video to say this but I think I'm the only one who almost always (pretty much everytime) I prefer the vanilla games graphics over these mods. That's for any game. There are artists that take years to craft the way the game looks and putting a filter over all that hard work to make a game shiner and bluer doesn't make it better.

Dwild1 Skyrim vanilla looks garbage. Bad lightning, low res textures that look blurry at ultra. Shadow view distance at max and some shadows still pop in 5 meters ahead at you. Lod looks potato. This is all easily fixed with mods.

Realistic does not mean better graphics, people always get the two confused. The PC version looks more appealing, but the 360 version looks more realistic in terms of the low contrast and dry climate
NOT saying that the 360 version looks better, but the PC mod looks a bit too surreal.
Nowadays with those graphics comparison thumbnails, it feels like you can show somebody the two same images, increase the contrast on one, and that person will favour the one that looks more vibrant

The PC mod does have sharper detail and more trees everywhere, but it also has a Final Fantasy color palette.

If you look at the car names on the pc you'll notice they're not comparing the same game (example- there's no range rover in GTA5). The pc version is a mod option (with upgraded graphics), not the actual game you're seeing on the xbox

why does the PC version always have a blue sky day versus xbox?? That has nothing to do with graphics, but changes the vibe completely.
Vanilla GTAV just looks murky at lower resolutions, always has. Even at 4k with high settings the color palette isn't particularly realistic or attractive. Most of the graphics mods on PC fix this by actually making the sky blue as it should be.

Why are the skies on PC bright solid blue? Like someone went on MS Paint and picked blue with the paint tool. In California, our smog gives a grayish, blue silver color to the sky.
For a game representing LA county id say the PC version you're showing is definitely in 4K. The images are crisp but they do lack the drab/less saturated palette of the XBOX 360 counterpart and, for some reason, the atmospheric perspective that would make the elements in the horizon more hazy.
I've never seen so many rich greens and blue skies in LA.

Obviously PC version is nicer (more expensive hardware, mods...) but essentially is the same game. It’s up to you if is worth to spend 10.000€/$ just for getting a graphic improvement (yeah and more FPS, sorry) in all games, but only that, because the most important part of all this is if those games keep the reason of it’s own success (accurate controls, good story, enjoyable experiences, balanced duration, great multiplayer etc) and you can get that with a cheaper system. With 300 or 400$ you can get the possibility of playing a bunch of games, with extra 9600$ can make those games look better... so you decide if is a strong reason to pay such a high price for that. BTW I enjoy playing PUBG on my tablet as much as in my expensive PC, that’s why I write this comment.

On PC, you have owned server, you can play ROLEPLAY, you can play BATTLE ROYAL, in solo you can add others mods (Heist, dealer weed, mapping villa, LSPDFR for police etc...) You spen 750, you can play with this graphic and mods ! Sorry for my english, i'm french
