My uncle and his wife in Washington State did the same thing they put their big camper in a shop building and built around the camper and made them a house

Tuck your travel trailer under protective cover. Donated carpet is great to keep the dirt being tracked into the camper. Donated comfy couch? Yes please! Why not create a cozy spot in there for rainy days? Pop up the tv. You can’t build your house at the mo., but you CAN be sheltered and safe till it is built. Work your plan to settle in for winter. You three are amazing! I believe you are the hardest working people in Arkansas! I don't know if you have thought of putting a wood burning stove in the barn. It would probably heat the barn and the camper! Something to think about! My brother took a single wide mobile home and built all around it and you could not tell there was a mobile home there. He added bedrooms and a big den porches and a carport then roofed it. It was beautiful the mobile home had the kitchen and the baths! Looked great! Keep up the work!

If you can find and afford get a few rolls of sheet vinyl. They come in 6 and 12-ft widths. You can roll it out on that dirt floor then put the pieces of carpet on top. It will keep the dampness out so the carpets will not have that musty damp smell.
Count your blessings that you have each other to share all this together I miss having that companionship to share my life with and it’s so lonely being by myself without my partner in life

Movin' an' Groovin'! Are Y'all thinking about a wood stove/heater to knock the chill off? You and most of the Framily have lots of standing-dead trees that are probably pretty low in moisture content. Myleigh with the box on her head...😆👍

Excellent.......It is totally amazing how much you have done. There are homesteaders that make plans and they do not have the self discipline to follow through. They constantly procrastinate and do not get things done. You have gotten more done in a few months than some who have moved in that area over 15 months plus. You are fun to watch and you carry through with what you say you are going to do.
This is what I call teamwork. You all get in there and get it done and all I can say is this is how it's done. I love your introduction and music selection. It takes me back to my family and friends that live in the Ozark Mountains, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, & Arkansas. Rustic Cabins with rocking chairs on the porch, listening to nature.
