Been busy, wanted to have something of more substance out this week, but hopefully I can finish it by some time next week. These are just some Crouch Dash patterns I found interesting or amusing lol
I have a challenge for you lol What happens if you try to keep up with Big Blue using kazuya crouch dashes optimally? Can a human do it? Can a tas do it with frame perfect inputs? I wanna see!
@@ViedViper Maybe it would work out with items like Bunny Hood and the like. Worth trying some of those variables out even if you sacrifice your hands.
@@ViedViper As the comment from @thelastgogeta says, I would absolutely make sure you have bunny hood... and maybe curry. But I'm curious to see if crouch dashing would even make a difference, or if you wouldn't get speed boosts... probably not since it's an input that does a certain thing.
@@8_SixTee_For yeah I remember that. Iirc the real custom stuff he used was just to help with viperballs which I believe he used diagonal buttons, but those were not allowed cause you are pressing two buttons with one button(i.e pressing d and f with 1 button to get df). All the other tech he did like, FADC seismos, tk seismos, etc. where pretty much done on what is now hitbox cross-up stick essentially. Kinda wanna try Viper on smash box lol and I can map both analog and d-pad values on to it. Don't know how legal that is though lol. But I have been messing with viperballs on pad using both the analog stick and d-pad sometimes claw, sometimes not. There are few buttons you can no longer add in the smash box designer anymore like Mirror, Flip, Invert, etc. which I think is cause they are not tourney legal anymore. Be cool to mess with *for Kazuya in Smash though.
@@robertliu342 So instead of holding the analog stick all the way to one side, you keep it closer to neutral. Like a run vs a walk. So when Crouch Dash cancelling with DB you would cancel CD with a neutral input followed by a slight tilted DB input instead of a fully tilted DB input.
@@ViedViper in all honesty though is this even possible on pro controller lol it certainly doesn't feel like it also have u checked out anything relating to big blue crouch dashing? any chance of it working?
Kinda there are just so many more ways to cancel Crouch Dash in this game and in Tekken you can not use the same cancel input as the first input in your next CD. As well as you can cancel with different analog values too
Same inputs just a bit faster and not all the way to their full analog values in some cases as well. You can see the basics of Crouch dash cancelling here and then go from there as you see fit :) ruclips.net/video/xTDH1zFC8UY/видео.html

Idk about that lol. Maybe at some point though, but I just have haven't time to even play the game within the last couple months aside from the last couple days. But I do have some new cool stuff to show though :)
@@ViedViper Ah ok gotcha, well, I'm glad you said maybe at some point because that would be awesome, I'm excited for your new videos and the stuff you're gonna show.
Here is my copy/paste response to these types comments. Hope this helps! in Smash wavedash tends to mean something else entirely despite originally getting the term from Tekken. Not everyone who watches these vids are going to be familiar with other fighting games and will attribute wavedash to an entirely different universal piece of tech. Also wavedashing is inputted differently in Tekken than in SSBU, even CDC-F and especially other cancels that could be considered a wavedash. In this game there are so many more ways to cancel a Crouch Dash, none of which would be called a wavedash. For these reason I am very deliberate when I call it wavedashing and when I do it is usually beside a specific CDC
@@ViedViper dude, stfu, wavedashing in tekken refers to using cd for movement/positioning instead of the usual "stance" properties it has, u are cancelling a cd input, but it is still a wavedash. Multiple cd=wavedash
@@Moustard434 oh really -_- "wavedashing in tekken refers to..." Yes I know, read what I said please. There is already an entirely different universal piece of tech in smash, although less prevalent in this game called wavedashing. Not everyone who plays this game knows what wavedsahing in Tekken is. Do you know how many questions I get asking about the "star input"? The move is officially in the game as Crouch Dash and to avoid any other confusion is why I deliberately call it by this. Also there are way more ways to cancel your CD and to potentially wave dash in this game, which coming from Tekken you might think otherwise. Especially in an analog game vs a digital game.
Peak execution Kazuya will always look stupid but goddamn does he make stupid look cool
LOL ikr! and who knows, maybe some of this stupider stuff can lead to more practical stuff too :)
Yooooo
Alternate title: “how to intimidate your opponents: the RIGHT way.”
LOL
Yo Saul that’s true I gotta learn this
saulteeznutz spotted
This mans really is -- as I like to say -- "going crazy on the sticks!" 😤
Lol! yes on the sticks >_>
I like how they show the inputs as if they were notes to practice makes it easier to understand
And so it's make it easier to come to
This channel is top tier kazuya jank
ROFL! Hopefully at least some of this jank turns to gold XD
Me: Can I have wavedashing?
Mom: we have wavedashing at home.

Everything's gonna be fine until someone finds a glitch that let's Kazuya do a Korean backdash in smash bros
Search for a piece of tech called American backdash lol
Steve : they only mimic a fraction of my true power
Beautifully executed sir/mam its lovely
Damn, the KoreanBackdash has transcended space and time to enter another game I see
Kazuya is the only character that can wave dash
Doing this right after taking a stock to assert dominance
Advanced teabagging skills
T-bagging into overdrive.

If I run into someone in tournament and they do that to me in the first 5 seconds of the game I'm giving them the set
Wintimidation lol. But hopefully this becomes more useful than that XD
funny way to say high traction high skill gap high speed wavedashing
"ultimate doesnt have wave dashi-"
Imagine the infamous double dash even being replicated in Smash.
So have this with immense abuse of cancel and op spacing and then you have a monster on the field of elite
Why is this funny
Low key terrifying
Thats fucking sick but i can only imagine arthritis if I try that
Classical wavedashing I see.
Someone send this to marss
I wanna see a TAS for that
Just imagine TAS Kaz..
High skill cap tea bag
are these inputs possible to do this fast with a normal grip?
Possibly but it won't be me doing to do it lol. Be careful not to break your controller sticks though like other players have lol
Kazuya looks like he's phasing in and out of reality.
I'd imagine that for all intents and purposes this is Smashbox exclusive?
Yeah lol! For all intents and purposes, most likely XD
