Thank you guys for visiting my beautiful country, and sharing your experience ❤ but... my God, Poland is not only about food and restaurants 🙂There are so many beautiful buildings with astonishing architecture. Really, you should visit the countryside as well. Over 30% of the landscape in Poland is forest, the beautiful Baltic coast with its dunes and even desert, the amazing Masurian Lake District with over 2600 lakes and untouched nature, many National Parks, and finally mountain chains stretching from east to west on the entire south of Poland's border. I can promise you that if you go to Poland for longer, it will be the trip of your life.😀👋
Warsaw was voted #1 best European travel destination in 2023, beating Athens at #2 with nearly 52000 votes. Especially many votes for Warsaw came from USA, UK, Ireland, Australia and Austria!
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Hey guys! Just a heads up from someone who loves Poland and has been numerous times (You can see my vlogs on my channel), it can be seen as quite rude to say how cheap Poland is. Im not saying you realise this so not a dig. For us in the UK it is cheap, less so now. But for Poles it's still expensive because their wages are typically a lot lower than ours. So, it can be seen as being a bit rude to shout about how cheap Poland is when its not for the locals. May I also ask what camera you are using and why is the video only in 720p?
We Poles know that for citizens from Western Europe prices seem cheap and none of us are offended by this fact. That is why so many Poles go to work in England, Germany or the Netherlands because the copy is 4 times converted into Polish currency. A monthly payment, for example in England, is a salary of 4 months in Poland.
@@nat494 Well, we Poles are aware that we earn less and prices in Poland are adequate to our earnings and foreigners think that it is cheap here. I do not know in what context someone will point it out to you because the statement is true and I do not see any lack of culture in it. On the other hand, some tourists show a lack of culture, who have a normal status in their country, and when they come to Poland, they show superiority over us because they have richer wallets. In particular, Poles look with disgust at English drunk men who strip naked and pee anywhere in public, I think that in England they don't do it and think that they came to the jungle. Regarding culture, the world knows little about our culture, our character and upbringing shaping over thousands. The Polish motto is: God, honor and homeland.
Hey Charlie and Rob, thanks for the tips- we appreciate your feedback We never meant it to be rude in anyway, when we said "cheap" we are directing this to travellers from the UK who would like to holiday in Poland, not Polish citizens.
@@AB-Adventures no don't worry, I knew you didn't mean any offence. I was just giving a heads up 😊 It's something I learnt myself as I've done a lot of videos on Poland including vlogs from there

We had never done much research into Poland or watched any videos, we packed our bags and headed to the airport, so we did not know what to expect........
The last time I was there, I had to have a visa, currency exchange vouchers and foreign currency to buy luxury goods in a Pewex. The taxi was either a lada from Russia or a two stroked engine car called a Syrenka-a funny thing altogether with just two big heavy doors! Wooden barns? Most definitely.
The guy on the bike asked if something was far from here, but I didn't hear what exactly. Maybe he was talking to someone on the phone through a headset. Anyway, it wasn't a complaint or anything offensive. I'm glad you had a good time in my country. Poland had a lot to offer, beautiful mountains, lakes and sea coast. As for cities, I recommend Toruń, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Kraków and small towns such as Kazimierz Dolny and Sandomierz.

You showed Warsaw very nicely. In Polish cities you walk a lot, hence the blister on your finger. Poles do not have any complaints about being recorded, but there is always an exception, you can film.😀
Beware in Cracow scooters and bikes are banned on pavements. In Warsaw you can get cheap, tasty food in "bar mleczny"; certainly much cheaper than places you visited.
They are not only in Warsaw. During communism time Bar Mleczny was a very common thing, and nowadays there are still some across Poland's biggest cities as a memento of the past. They serve Polish traditional food, and yes... they are cheap in comparison with other restaurants.
You think that guy on the bike was like against you recording ? come on he was just asking how far is MORA or Zmora something like that and people move out of the way because they don't wanna block something that you recording
You say that people in Poland don't like being filmed, they are NOT well-educated and they think that they have entered your frame and that's why they leave the frame. And this guy on a bike was just asking where a certain district of Warsaw was, he probably didn't know where to go.😃
@@michaelmckelvey5122 Agreed. Poland is mentally in the East but we the Poles tend to take them for something superior from the rest of the eastern nations, without any reason. This is why we hate calling us “Eastern Europe”. 🙂
Geographically, Poland is in Central Europe but because of being in East Block during the Cold War commonly people say it is Eastern Europe. What does it actually matter? For me as a native, no matter. Poland is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe due to its landscape diversity and how you call it (Eastern, Central, or whatever) cannot change 😀
@@michaelmckelvey5122 Well, you would say stupidity. Neither geographically, nor culturally, nor religiously, nor historically, nor even culinary, is Poland Eastern Europe. Although agreed, it was in the communist Eastern Bloc for 44 years, just like part of Germany was "Eastern Europe". As for the historic architecture: Gdańsk, Wroclaw were as destroyed during the war as Warsaw. In all these cities, Poland had to rebuild and reconstruct the old towns, and the one in Warsaw (really beautiful and very atmospheric) is on the UNESCO list.
