It looks like a hipster art Avenue or something, it will be a great place for people of an artistic nature! Another great video from you guys come on thank you for sharing 😁🙌🏻
It is great to see some areas of Louisville that need some attention are getting renovated. We love seeing murals and new businesses and new life in older sections of town. That bar trolley going down the road looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for showing us around NuLu!
That NuLu looks like a great place. Actually thought you unlocked and rode the scooter then we saw your mirror...LOL Louisville has been on our bucket list to visit for a while. Thanks for taking us on a walk around. Loved seeing the old part becoming new.
I know this is an old comment, so hopefully it won't be too annoying to respond. I personally find Nulu to be a bit different. It's a lot smaller and denser, and it has less of a subcultural vibe than the Highlands had back 15 years or so ago. I'd say that a big chunk of the culture of the Highlands is moving off Bardstown onto Barrett and the further ends of Baxter now. The further reaches of Baxter have lot more restaurants, bars, and and cool shops than I really remember from a decade or so back. And, even though Barrett has lost Lynn's, it's gained an absolutely amazing thrift/vintage shop and it has a lot of subcultural shops, niche boutiques, and witchy businesses.
We have one of those pub trolley tours in Raleigh! Never went on it, but it would be fun to do with only friends so that we can film it. Louisville is an up-and-coming city. We loved visiting Churchill Downs when we were there! Those angel wings at 7:05 make for awesome photo ops.
There's so many great businesses here. Unfortunately, it seems like the only time I ever get over there is if I decide to walk there after church, on Fourth Street. I keep forgetting just how long a walk that is, and I'm always tired and cranky by the time I get there, and can never seem to enjoy the place as much as it deserves. I need to make a trip down there on an uber, on a better day to really enjoy the place.
La Bodeguita means the small warehouse. Also can mean a small convenience store. Also...that is in Spanish....not in Cuban...there is no such thing as Cuban language.
Are you cool enough to walk this neighborhood?...Not sure we were! 😄
Awesome neighborhood 😎👍
I think I can say it's "groovy" and get away with it...? 😄 Thanks for watching!

@@PoseurGoth My memories of the area stem more from the early 70s, going to the Mid-City mall and such. I now live in southern Indiana.
Not-so-normal school!! All this crazy history reimagined!
Ironically, it's where teachers learned to teach!
Get that man a cookie!
I DIDN'T get a cookie...next time!
NEW FRIEND here, love your content my friend!!

Thank you sooo much for the info! Didn't know Spanish was the language used in Cuba!
