I bought a 6560b last year for 99$ off Ebay, swapped its 2nd gen i5 with a i7 2640M taken from my smaller probook 6460b, I use a desktop with 4th gen i5 and 1050ti for gaming but this 6560b is my daily for youtube videos, mangas, online novels, and college work and never disappoints unlike the cheap breakable best buy laptops
They're awesome PCs man... That's pretty cool that the processor can be upgraded from the i5 to the i7... I didn't even know that
has to be the same generation but its an obvious fact when most mobile i3, i5, and i7s of the same generation utilize the same pin layout
@@darkmugetsu6572 Sandy Bridge generation (yes I know this is the GPU not the CPU just a general time) did support it but they changed these sockets over time due to intellectual property disputes and to limit liability I believe. Some sockets from 2014 are the same for this machine but I tried using some and they wouldnt fit for some reason and none of the pins were bent because I could use them on the intended machines. I got mines on ebay as well, I usually buy them when it's between 20-60 usd (shipping included) or when it's in massive lots at those prices each. These are very good and reliable , I think these were part of a deal to get more contracts with businesses and government for reliable as based off their advertising and till to this day while consumers get breakable machines.
I use i7 mobile processor for this as well.

This is my Laptop and I still use it heavily into 2022 . I get 100fps in Minecraft 1.18.2 Optifine (and native snap) in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS .

Of course... however if your planning on buying a laptop to play games I'd recommend buying an actual gaming laptop so you can play future games

Please how can i install the Radeon HD graphics driver of this machine

Click the link and Download the AMD software that will download the correct driver and Install it automatically 👍
If it even HAS Radeon HD graphics some models are intel. Also Install Ubuntu 22.04 it uses mesa drivers
Perfect Laptop. Can't get GTA 5 To Work Though.
Try running Windows 10 and ensure all your drivers are up to date.

1366x768 not 1600x900. non of the hp 6560b, 6570b's had higher resolution than 1366x768
Not true. My original 6560b had 900p. I only know because I swapped my innards into another 6560b due to a broken hinge mount. After the swap, I had noticed a lower 768p resolution. I should have swapped my screen out for the donor laptop.

hi there, I went to HP site to download drivers for finger printer reader and also the brightness control on F9/F10 keys under Windows 8.1 64 bit. Unfortunately, I was not able to find them at all there. can you help? thanks. I am currently running this NB under Win 10 Pro.
Brightness adjustment can be found on the battery logo > display.
Man, I bought this PC, but I had Windows 7. I switched to 10 but I can no longer use the fingerprint reader and the brightness control buttons (F9 and F10) do not work either. How did you solve it?
Hey Rodriguez, All you have to do is just go on HP's website and download the correct drivers and everything should be working fine :) .... Windows 10 uses Win 8.1 drivers so just select WIn 8.1 and 64bit/ 32bit
or you could use Windows Update in Settings, but that takes forever to update drivers.

This is my pc but mine is core i3 it has 8 gb ram
upgrade to i7 quad core and get external gpu ($150 total) and you got a gaming pc
I still ran on an i3 for a long time till I realized it was an i3, it was shit but the whole time I thought it was the i5-2520m or something better. It was okay, I even played Minecraft on it at 30fps-60fps .
