@@backpackeralex See any sasquatches? Seen one last summer! Starring me down from the bushes while fishing on shore. Didn't know if it was currious or wanted to eat me! Stay safe!

@@GerryDX Dunno if you are serious or kidding. Strangest thing I have ever had happen, was bear checking out my site and tent at night and or a loud screech sound also a night that kind of sounded like a woman screaming. Either some bird of sort or it was a Cougar (not the human kind 😉) is my best guess.
As for Squatches, I think its plausible but not in Ontario. Pretty cold climate, they would have to have shelters and control fire to get through winter and we would find that. Doubt they be smart enough for fire. Out west its more plausible. Survivorman has two stories, one he was middle of no where tenting with his wife and somthing very large walked up to or close to his tent that had thud sounds as if walking on two feet. He got out of the tent and said hello or somthing and it walked the other way. That was in Ontario. His other story he saw somthing come out of the woods and stand at a clearing across from his camp, think that was out west. However he said he was tired and really hungry so who know. I like watching Todd Standings stuff too. What do you think?

Just came across channel. Wondering if you ever come across vacant land n buildings for sale cheap on your travels across ON? Would like a place unknown township or place to build tiny homestead.

Hi Lisa, north of the big Southern Ontario cities there are plenty. Not sure how you go about buying them as they dont seem to be for sale. At any rate, land that's not waterfront is really affordable in the middle of nowhere. You could start at www.realtor.ca/en and check the maps to see what's on the market. There are also facebook groups dedicated to exploring abandoned buildings in Ontario. One is called "Abandoned Ontario" the other "Ontario Abandoned Places" be lots of info there, some of those people treat it as a hobby like I do camping.
