Sonic hesitates to be honest and answer the question sincerely.
Knuckles: "He can't even see that he has something for this Amy girl...Sonic pay attention!"
I wish Knuckles and Rouge would roast Sonic like this in the canon games. It would be so satisfying. Knuckles is right though, Sonic doesn't have confidence, and even in the games, Sonic is too shy as stated and confirm by Sonic Team. And here, Rouge admires Knuckles for his confidence and the fact that he's not afraid to boldly speak his mind and to tell Rouge that she has plenty of shape.

He said so himself in one video, so he has some good things to him, and unlike Sonic, he's confident in getting any girl he wants unlike Sonic who even in the video games is afraid of girls, like so many spineless guys in mangas and anime for some stupid reason.
Where was it stated Sonic is shy even though he showcased himself to be mildly annoyed by Amy? Even sometimes ignoring her?
I like how knuckles and rouge give sonic advise by insulting him, but if you take away the insults what they’re saying actually kinda makes sense

I love Knuxouge AND Shadouge. The way I see it, Rouge was originally Shadow's girlfriend, but she became Knuckles's girlfriend after Shadow sacrificed his life to save Earth in Sonic Adventure 2 (because, in my headcanon, Shadow died for real at the end of Sonic Adventure 2). Being with Knuckles helps Rouge's heart to heal from the loss of Shadow, because of Knuckles having a somewhat similar personality to Shadow.
Knuckles and Rouge are seriously together!? I thought that I would never see them together like this. They're normally arguing with each other about the Master Emerald or something else.

The only thing I didn't like about this animation is how romantic Knuckles is with Rouge. I've always thought of Knuckles as being a very socially awkward type of character, what with living most of his life isolated on a floating island guarding the Master Emerald.

I gotta say, I am really enjoying this ongoing story. And I'm glad things with Amy weren't just resolved right away.
Most fan stories I've read follow the same arc. Sonic reaches his limit with Amy's affections and hurts her feelings. Sonic feels guilty and apologizes. Amy accepts and they kiss and become a couple.
But this ongoing story takes a different approach. Amy isn't just upset that Sonic didn't trust her about the live action movie. Sonic has repeatedly taken their relationship for granted throughout these animations. And now, Sonic needs to be honest with his feelings.
Its been a while since we saw rouge but we need more cream!

Like knuckles said, friends help each other out. Who knows? Maybe Sonic will follow knuckles’ advice and try to do the right thing and go in the right direction! It’s up to sonic to fix the relationship with Amy.

Sonic, you know you've hit rock bottom if you're asking ROUGE and KNUX, the without question best SEGA couple, but also the two most stubborn hot heads for relationship advice.
Speaking of Knuxrouge, I had to lower my valium because I was worried that my mom would hear what and how they're talking to each other xD. Seriously, who wrote the script? It's so perfect and wrong at the same time, it's gold!
