The way Tails looks at Amy at 6:33 hits. He knows how it feels to try everything and still not be appreciated- and by Sonic, too. It's the most genuine emotion he shows before revealing himself.

Sonic's reaction to Amy's transformation is gut wrenching. Throughout the video he's portrayed as almost just a one-note jerk, but in that moment he's showing genuine compassion for Amy as he realizes what she's become. It's only when she grabs his arm and actually hurts him is when he calls her a freak. But all the moments leading up to it he continuously attempts to calm her down and help her. The reveal that he always tried to show his feelings but ran from them is the real stinger.

I love how we see tails actively manipulating Amy, and it's obvious for us viewers, but Amy is very fragile right now, so manipulation is very easy to work. I love these parts so much.
Yeah. This is especially potent when he says that none of the other Amys are even close to shining like this one. That could be genuine, or he could he referring to how she's been the easiest to manipulate. Either way, Amy's in such a fragile state of mind that she giggles like a child at this, showing how her happiness has become so dependent on Tails to an unhealthy degree.

Hot damn, this series is so good at giving you just enough content to make you wait for the next part. That part 4 felt like nothing happened and yet it also taught us so much about the greater context around this story, and that last bit revealing the world they left behind is chilling.

The storytelling in this is amazing. You actually feel sorry for Amy and can see every step of her downfall. Not to mention, Tails as the villain worked perfectly.
The universes are presented as rings... why have I never thought of that. And oh my goodness is this series incredible. A fantastic balance of story, voice acting, art style and animation, all combined into a tale that'll most certainly rattle this Sonic Multiverse...
I think that it's because no matter how smart Tails is, he most likely isn't too physically strong or durable. Probably slightly above average and fast enough to chase Sonic. Amy isn't stupid, just very emotional (and now insane). If you add in the facts that she wields a giant mallet and is probably only a little slower than Tails, she's terrifying. Amy is juggernaut that's only being kept in line via emotional manipulation.
18:35 - That shot of tails shaking uncontrollably with excitement is equal parts unsettling and goofy. 18:40 - 18:57 - I freaking love the music in this scene. Perfectly encapsulates that feeling of existential wonder. 19:10 - I noticed Tails said "*help US in our quest*". I wonder who he could possibly be working with? I'm assuming Tails is talking about Sonic, albeit, in some twisted metaphorical sense. That seems too easy though. I'm betting that SH Tails is working with alternate versions of himself. Also, I like that mashed is hinting at Amy having a change of heart, and possibly thwarting his plans. Whether that will be due to her guilt/regret, or Tails underestimating just how batshit crazy she is, remains to be seen. One things for sure, there definitely ain't going to be no Sonic in that portal, only more existential, messed up, Tails insanity. mashed is ruthless with those cliffhangers. Cannot wait to see where this is all going!

Meanwhile, now, at 17:24, Tails is on the right while Amy is waking up, after her transformation is complete. I love little details like this, whether they're intentional or not!

I am an Amy connoisseur my friends, and let me tell you... Heartbreak Amy is probably one of my favorite fan-made versions of the character. From the Jersey Harley Quinn voice acting to the design of her new longer hair, it's all just great.

It was so worth the wait to see Part 4. I just can’t stop replaying this. Also, nice touch at 18:00-18:15. It was like Amy may have LOOKED like she went crazy after she changed her appearance, but she doesn’t seem to have forgotten who she was before. Impressive moment. However, IMO, I think they should’ve posted that Noel’s animal ark teaser thing as a separate video.
It’s crazy how this starts out simple and wholesome before turning into the start of a collection of dark multiverse tales. Speaking of which, I’m looking forward to chapter 3.

The best Mashed series. PERIOD. While this is a trauma-inducing nightmare for my inner Sonic Fan, it also has my full and COMPLETE attention the whole time. I legit cried for part 3. I need more of this series, because now I have to see how this ends. I feel so bad for Amy, and I love her character so much… especially Frontiers and Adventure-era. I will admit I ship Sonic and Amy, therefore I need to see a happy ending here. While I’d also be stay for a sad ending, and hopefully this storyline could leak to other Mashed Universe’s. Idk, guess I’ll have to wait and see. Excellent job, Mashed. You deserve all the praise and admiration there is for this series, and your channel.

This came out a day after Sonic Prime. And both series involve Sonic Characters going through alternate dimensions where they see other versions of the main cast. And a modified evil Amy. The timing of this is weird, but interesting.
I’m in love with this series, the amount of effort put in is huge and the voice actors are doing great! The animation and storytelling is wonderful too.

Just realised that one of ‘Tails’s’ first lines is; “I guess I’m my own worse enemy” shit you’re good, I assume this was foreshadowing for the twist that SH Tails killed this universes Tails, but if it’s foreshadowing something still yet to come, I’m here for it
Did you also notice how Amy had multiple spots with a yellow color? It looked like Tails used parts of the original tails of that timeline for the “modifications”

My gosh this is amazing. Im so happy to have randomly stumbled on this. The voice acting is so so intense. Like these line reads hit me at my core. And the story is the kind of wild intrigue that is so commanding! Atleast for me. Im so excited for more parts!

This is actually a mashed series I binge watch when it came out and would literally wait every single month for it to come out it's actually a pretty good series being a Sonic fan and all.
Talk about sweet perfection. Some parts were pretty gruesome,though. May your creativity and talent be praised ! This version of Amy reminds me both of her Frontiers and Adventure version.

Story so far: After tails escaped from sonic and Amy in his universe, he thought, "Well if my sonic isn't here, maybe he ran off to somewhere else." So he built the time machine to look for "his" sonic, but none of the Sonic's fit. But then he found this world, and put his plan into action. After killing there tails he pulled all the strings, and new Amy would fill the final peace of the puzzle. After finding the ring Amy's true Sonic would be behind, it shows that tails made this universe using the power of the all the others. Even the main world they lived in. So in reality, tails didn't make Amy's dream come true "shocker to know one" but to mix all the world's and Sonic's together to make the perfect world, and the perfect Sonic. Because like he said... All the world's exist without purpose.

19:10 - I noticed Tails said "*help US in our quest*". I wonder who he could possibly be working with? I'm assuming Tails is talking about Sonic, albeit, in some twisted metaphorical sense. That seems too easy though. I'm betting that SH Tails is working with alternate versions of himself.
Also, I like that mashed is hinting at Amy having a change of heart, and possibly thwarting his plans. Whether that will be due to her guilt/regret, or Tails underestimating just how batshit crazy she is, remains to be seen.
One things for sure, there definitely ain't going to be no Sonic in that portal, only more existential, messed up, Tails insanity.

I like how Tails went from being a straight up psychopath in Secret History, and now, while still being crazy, is a little more calm and collective. Great animation btw 👍

It was so worth the wait to see Part 4. I just can’t stop replaying this. Also, nice touch at 18:00-18:15. It was like Amy may have LOOKED like she went crazy after she changed her appearance, but she doesn’t seem to have forgotten who she was before. Impressive moment.

It’s crazy how this starts out simple and wholesome before turning into the start of a collection of dark multiverse tales. Speaking of which, I’m looking forward to chapter 3.

Absolutely mind blowing work to everyone involved with the production of this series, it got more entertaining and fun to follow with every episode.
The best Mashed series. PERIOD. While this is a trauma-inducing nightmare for my inner Sonic Fan, it also has my full and COMPLETE attention the whole time. I legit cried for part 3. I need more of this series, because now I have to see how this ends. I feel so bad for Amy, and I love her character so much… especially Frontiers and Adventure-era. I will admit I ship Sonic and Amy, therefore I need to see a happy ending here. While I’d also be stay for a sad ending, and hopefully this storyline could leak to other Mashed Universe’s. Idk, guess I’ll have to wait and see.
Excellent job, Mashed. You deserve all the praise and admiration there is for this series, and your channel.

I forgot how amazing the VA was for Amy here. She put so much feeling into this and it's amazing.
This came out a day after Sonic Prime. And both series involve Sonic Characters going through alternate dimensions where they see other versions of the main cast. And a modified evil Amy. The timing of this is weird, but interesting.

Just realised that one of ‘Tails’s’ first lines is; “I guess I’m my own worse enemy” shit you’re good, I assume this was foreshadowing for the twist that SH Tails killed this universes Tails, but if it’s foreshadowing something still yet to come, I’m here for it
Did you also notice how Amy had multiple spots with a yellow color? It looked like Tails used parts of the original tails of that timeline for the “modifications”
Also the explosion could have been when he killed the og tails. I say this because the OG tails' head thing was burned and appeared to have been screaming.
Perhaps OG Tails built the dimensional transporter and SH Tails crawled out of it.

The twisted duo destroy universe as they find their "Sonic" and either they get put down, Amy realises her.mistakes and turns on Tails, they make their OWN universe, or they destroy every universe that ever existed and realize there is no more Sonics left

Story so far: After tails escaped from sonic and Amy in his universe, he thought, "Well if my sonic isn't here, maybe he ran off to somewhere else." So he built the time machine to look for "his" sonic, but none of the Sonic's fit. But then he found this world, and put his plan into action. After killing there tails he pulled all the strings, and new Amy would fill the final peace of the puzzle. After finding the ring Amy's true Sonic would be behind, it shows that tails made this universe using the power of the all the others. Even the main world they lived in. So in reality, tails didn't make Amy's dream come true "shocker to know one" but to mix all the world's and Sonic's together to make the perfect world, and the perfect Sonic. Because like he said... All the world's exist without purpose.
