I've got about an hour between trains to get from Milan Centrale to Milano P Garibaldi - any tips on the best way to get between to two? Would I need to schedule a taxi ahead of time or can you get one by just going to the taxi area day of?
Hi, the fastest and cheapest way to travel between the two is to use the green line of the subway (called Metro or Metropolitana), which is very frequent during the day (currently the single ticket costs 2.20 euros). The two stations are very close (it would take about 20 minutes on foot), so if the trains are on time, you shouldn't have any particular time problems, 1 hour is more than enough 😁.
Thank you so much for sharing information and great to see this channel started to build a nice community. Exactly as mentioned between Centrale and P. Hi thank you for these videos!!! It has been really helpful. Do you have any idea If the platforms of these two are close? Hey, I am travelling from Zurich to Rome and was looking for train tickets and had the same doubt if the 20 minutes would be sufficient to change trains (since there is a change at Milan). Just wanted to check how was your experience at the Milan station. I saw that there are around 24 platforms in the station and if the Zurich to Milan train gets delayed do you think I will be able to make the change?
Hi, we are travelling from Zurich to Venice this August and will need to pass by Milan on our way. We were thinking of doing a quick stop of 1hr to see the Duomo. Is 3 hrs enough time to do that including time to get back to Milano centrale? Is it hard to find the luggage area? Just worried we might take a lot of time looking for the storage area because of how big the station is
Hi, if you have around 3 hours it's more than enough plus sightseeing Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and maybe Castello Sforzesco, you can take the Metropolitana M3 (Yellow) from Centrale to Duomo, I made a video about it a month ago. Look for the one exploring Milan for less than $3. For luggage storage please navigate to 11:06 there's a place you can store luggage in Centrale and it's easy to find. I hope this helps. 😊
I'm afraid there's no tax refund office in Centrale station and border cross checking usually just a simple passport check by police. I suggest you make time to the Duomo and go to La Rinascente on the 6th floor you'll find Global Blue tax office there.
Thanks. Would you recommend buying Malpenso express tickets from airport to Milan Centrale on app or buy on the spot from counter or ticket machine? Is there a Pay and Go service that we can pay by debit or credit card? Appreciate your reply
Hello, Metropolitana subway usually ends right after midnight but there are supplement bus service on ground level. Busses circular service still runs at lesser schedule after midnight. If you're with luggage I suggest taxi as better options on late night.
Take the WEST GATE exit, then make your way to Via Tonale keep going until you found big intersection with Via Melchiore Gioia. It's a walking distance to but if you have luggage better take Taxi or use metro Yellow Line M3 it's only one stop at Sondrio from Centrale, take the direction to Comasina.

Hello, is there anywhere to do vat refund at the Milan station? I’m leaving from Milan to Zermatt by train.
I'm afraid there's no tax refund office in Centrale station and border cross checking usually just a simple passport check by police. I suggest you make time to the Duomo and go to La Rinascente on the 6th floor you'll find Global Blue tax office there.
Where are the buses that go directly to Milan Bergamo Airport located?
It's on the east side, look for Starbucks you'll find the bus to Bergamo airport right across
@@StrollingAround Is it Inside or outside Milano Centrale?
@@LK-pq4pz right next to Centrale on the outer side
Hi,Which platform is the Express train to Venice ?
Hi, you will have to check on the announcement board, usually confirmed 15 minutes before departure time
Thanks. Would you recommend buying Malpenso express tickets from airport to Milan Centrale on app or buy on the spot from counter or ticket machine? Is there a Pay and Go service that we can pay by debit or credit card? Appreciate your reply
How is the weather now a days in Milan? Today is March 28th 2024
Last week of March this year it is raining all week, looking for bright spring days on April
Hello, is public transportation in Milan 24 h available. Because im planning a trip and my plane arrives at 11pm ?
Hello, Metropolitana subway usually ends right after midnight but there are supplement bus service on ground level. Busses circular service still runs at lesser schedule after midnight. If you're with luggage I suggest taxi as better options on late night.
What level are intercity trains?
Same level on all train platforms, on the top floor.
Hola alguien me puede ayudar , explicar cómo llegar al aeropuerto malpenza de central ? Porfavor
Hola, entre el aeropuerto de Malpensa y la estación central, siempre se puede tomar el autobús o el tren exprés de Malpensa.
Which exit should we take to go to Crowne Plaza?
Take the WEST GATE exit, then make your way to Via Tonale keep going until you found big intersection with Via Melchiore Gioia. It's a walking distance to but if you have luggage better take Taxi or use metro Yellow Line M3 it's only one stop at Sondrio from Centrale, take the direction to Comasina.

it used to be a monument. the most beautiful station in Europe. The latest upgrade destroyed the whole beauty
The commercials upgrade at one side gave access to tourist to do some shopping and may generate as revenue to businesses, but it does sacrifice the beauty of this grand station.
@@StrollingAround Stations are public domain and should be maintained with tax payer incomes. they gutted and dismantled part of the station making difficult to understand where to go
How dangerous is this place?
In general nothing to worry about, you will see police and security patrolling the area. Just stay aware and be mindful of yourself and belongings.
👍
Thank you, Terima Kasih.
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Thank you for this! Found exactly where I needed to go

Why would any Italian visit Starbucks? It's absolutely mad
Personally, I would suggest going to any Bar around the corner for a quick espresso as they would call it a normal coffee, I guessed Starbucks is the safest spot to order a cup of cappuccino past noon without getting a strange face from the barista. 😆
Ciao....
this has helped me SO much, thank you, A couple questions: I have pre-purchased my shuttle bus from Malpensa to the station and then only have 20 minutes before my train to Bellano Tartavalle. I do have the app and will check in online but do see I have to walk a few minutes to get into the station from the bus stop. Will I be able to make this train with only 20 minutes? If I don't have time to use the toilets will there be one on the train? Thank you!
Usually trains don't always leave on time, but don't risk it. If you are traveling light better take a normal stairs straight to platform level. A good exercise and also the fastest way to reach platform level. There's a toilet available on board the train. Thank you so much for stopping by.
@@StrollingAround not traveling light enough for stairs but I'm fit and will hustle over to the station from the bus stop and use the toilet on the train in case timing is tight. THANK YOU!
I was approached by a young woman asking me if I could buy her food at the Burger King, she was hungry and didn't have any money. I was cautious in case this could be a scam and declined politely. Now I'm feeling guilty in case she was sincerely hungry and I was being mean 🥲
It does feel heart breaking most of the time and being polite declining is maybe the better way, sadly still I would remind most people to be very careful. I would prefer help through an organization that does help people in need.
