Question I just got my iPhone se screen replaced but for some odd reason my phone is very laggy now and it’s getting hot something it didn’t do before wat could it be I was told he changed my screen and some sort of censer could it be bc of the censor?
Would recommend resetting your phone to the factory settings and if you still have the issue to replace the part. It can be faculty

Hello Bryan , I’m sorry to hear that . I’m not sure if warranty covers accidental damage, but you should definitely double check to make sure.

Hello Bürn, we can’t really tell unless we open up the phone! If you opened up the lock with your finger print most likely was not replaced. I hope this helped

Watch out for home button, make sure you remove it properly and apply some heat

replaced, and now the display doesnt work.. amazing video by phonebulance. very helpful.. but its a painful process for a newbie.. i think its better to give it to a servicing guy for 40-50$ ! i spent almost 2-3 hours.. and still not working. .. tedious process.

Hernan Felipe Valdes Calderon no I haven’t. I was gonna do mengtor but they wanted my business number and some weird info. I don’t run a business so I didn’t look into it. My phone is fine for now. The water dried out of it and there’s only one dead pixel. So I’ll bear with it for now I guess

This is video was made a day after the phone came out and in the parts are not out when it has been released. However, this was for demonstration purposes only and we reused the current seal!

The home button no longer works after replacing the screen. Is there still a chance of fixing it?
Did you damage the flex? If so, you need a new button! But the Touch ID won't work! Sometimes the defective diplay might cause the home button not to work as well
Dont forget the adhesive strip before you attach any ribbon cables to the body of iphone!!

Yes sure you can . But the home button will remain black. Unless you change the home button as well. And Don’t forget If you replace the home button Touch ID function will never works again.
@Andre yes just make sure you use OEM Quality or Incell LCD
Andre the SE doesn’t have 3D Touch, instead it has Haptic Touch. If you put an iPhone 8 display Haptic Touch will work but 3D Touch from the 8 will not be transferred. Not sure if the thickness of the iPhone 8 screen will fit in the SE 2020 but it could be possible. Changing your screen without a programmer, you’ll lose the True Tone function.

I got a hairline crack in the top left corner of the screen. Does warranty cover this?

Usually, the warranty does not cover accidental damages/cracks on any device.

Yes it will, if you transfer the home button properly

You can buy an iPhone 8 lcd/digitizer form amazon or eBay, and will be compatible with the new iPhone SE and also will be the cheapest solution. The only thing you might loose is the TrueTone which It will need a programmer to do so

They are never waterproof, only water-resistant. And should always use the adhesive after any replacement to keep it water resistance

If I got the parts and shipped everything to u could u fix my baby. I call her Bet, short for bestie. We do everything together, go for walks, share long talks, sometimes she spontaneously go for swims in the kitchen sink, bathtub, etc. Recently she suffered a great fall similar to on the Humpty Dump experienced, she all cracked, bruised and scared. She’s not together😢 she still tries to be an awesome wingman but I know she is self-conscious of her appearance🙁 I’m just asking if u can find it in your heart to help this old gal feel her beautiful fun loving self again. Since by the time of the video parts were not available for the iPhone SE 2020, we had to reuse the same screen and adehesive for demonstration
I've replaced mine 3-4 times now (b/c the non OEM screens are cheap and break easily, and using a protector doesn't work well because they don't respond well to finger touches with a protector on top) but anyway, I just bought a screen this time that had the camera and speaker stuff already attached, so that was nice. All I had to do was transfer the home button. Easy peasy.

@@mc_dibia The phone has residual adhesive on it. Some screens come with new adhesive. But to be honest I don’t mess with it. My phone is old and I’m ok accepting the risk that it might not be 100% water proof.
