When I was a kid, we had caught few fish from the lake and I kept them in a big drum. After few days I noticed there was a fish which had a small legs and different. I and my friend felt like we had discovered a new variety of fish :) We were excited and fed it daily. After a week or so I came to realize it was a frog and I had never seen a tadpole before. I felt like a fool :) Thanks to videos like these and their brilliant efforts, we come to know more about many animals.
After studying this frog for nearly a decade, I came to realize that it's actually a completely different type of frog to the one I thought I was studying.
He's discovery opened up a new journey for himself too, finding more of the old frog. That means he can make direct use of his findings and save a species from extinction. Great video.
I can't Imagine how long they spend their time on 1 thing. But in the end it was heart touching that the half of your lifespan you spend for it, has it's meaning. I Salute! From:🇵🇭

Science is breathtaking. Everytime something unknown is known, some reality emerges out of it. Wonder what's the ultimate reality holds in its arms. Make it BLUE if nature makes you awestruck!

Ecuador, the country he went to and mentions, is an amazing place! There's a lot of things to do there and everyone is friendly. Would recommend going and visiting sometime! Beautiful country.

Unfortunately a lot of species are being decimated by feral cats in Australia and America Australia has over two million feral cats My neighbors cats kill toads and frogs in my yard and around my little pond And here in my state there isn’t a thing I can do about it Think about that
I encourage anyone that loves frogs to catch them safely and gently and to love them and appreciate them. They are super friendly and they love the warmth you give them from your hands. They might pee on you but that’s normal. I miss the frogs that used to visit my pool every night and sing, now that we’ve drained it and put it away I haven’t seen them in months :/ be safe limey

If I ever becoming extremely successful in my career and end up making a ton of money, I want to donate so much to these organizations that are at the forefront of the conservation and understanding of our natural world. As the stewards of this planet, it's our duty to protect and understand it.

I really do respect these people and what they do, and I grew up going to science museums. I feel sad about the capture of these individual creatures, but I can’t fathom the scope of the benefits of studying them.
I've always loved (especially the many gorgeous green) tree & leaf frogs, & actually all treefrogs. Their odd, suction toes are so beautiful, with such an ingenious structure and that alone makes them so interesting!
I rescued tadpoles in our pool when I was younger not knowing what they were but that it was about to freeze outside, so I collected them, put them in a fish tank inside and raised them, I later found out after they grew legs and turned green that they were tree frogs. Quite friendly little buggars, they used to climb on my curtains and my glasses and ride around my room with me and oh they loved live crickets, but I knew when spring came I had to release them so I carried the aquarium outside and removed the screen lid and had to sadly set them free by a tree. They'd still come around and visit me occasionally.
