Case law (Federally and in Florida) is pretty clear -- once a suspect understands that they have a right to remain silent, that anything they say can be used against them, and that they can have an attorney present before and during questioning, anything ELSE that's said (or NOT said) in relation to Miranda doesn't matter.
If someone answers questions (after indicating that they understand those rights) their responses are PRESUMED to be voluntary.
You shouldn't ask if you are going to delete comments.
I can confirm that it is DENIED. According to clerk's website. Try again, Sarah.
I am so disgusted and angry that I can’t watch until I hear that she’s been denied.
I checked, too. It's DENIED!
@@SweetPea112 👏So happy!
Thank goodness.
I can’t believe Sarah and Owens really had a chance with this 🙄
And the world collectively said “Womp Womp”
🤣🤣🤣
Sarah has so many bozo motions that no one is gonna second that motion because there is just too many hung over emotions going on for this kind of motion! BAaaaaaahaaa
I had faith in Judge Kraynick!
Much respect.
Me too
She is narcissistic liar and murderer. Hope she gets life in prison.
Sarah said “ this is what you get for cheating on me “ not abusing me .
Exactly what I’ve been saying 😁
Yes! And she definitely kept him in that suitcase with malice.
Boone made two, similar statements:
- "that's what it feels like when you cheat* on me"; and
- "that's what it feels like when you choke me."
*During her two-hour OCSO-interrogation, Boone clarified that the only "cheating" done by her boyfriend, Mr. Torres, was phone-texting -- but, that still bothered her.
I believe when he is in the suitcase and he says I can’t breathe “ she said that’s what if feels like when you choke me”. Either way, she had well over an hour to let him out and save his life, she did not, it was premeditated
@@cmil1051 your right and i remember hearing “feels like when you cheat on me” did she say that too?
What kind of person demands their interrogation video be suppressed? A guilty one.
Well she took videos and recorded her behavior so her basic confession/interrogation was just a repeat of her videos l.
Yeah, even if her entire interrogation was suppressed, the case is so open and shut that she never had a ghost of a chance. She's just wasting time. Like Darrell Brooks. If you can't win, just make as much a fuss as you go down as possible.
Right decision . Justice for Jorge 💔
Even if she didn’t know leaving him in the suitcase would kill him, everyone knows how panicked and claustrophobic someone would feel being locked in a small space like that, it's so cruel and unthinkable to walk away and leave someone in that position.
Judge Kraynick followed the law and the testimony and got it absolutely correct. In Judge Kraynick's decision, he noted Sarah Boone lacked credibility in her testimony about Chelsea telling her that she could have her phone returned the next day. Judge Kraynick pointed out that the first question on her list she brought to the interview was when was she getting her phone back. Liar. Also her timeline of calling Chelsea the night before the interview was way off based on Sarah being at the crime scene for 10 hours, she couldn't have called detective Chelsea at 9:30-10:00pm. Again, Judge Kraynick called her lack of credibility on that too. Respect for the court.
Got my popcorn ready. I am a bit disappointed that she isn't representing herself, that would have been awesome!
That’s great!! She was read her Miranda and talked. She tried to get herself out of trouble.
She couldn’t stop talking…
The judge's face.. he was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop out when the defense said they're claiming self-defense 😂
What she says in the interrogation completely contradicts the claim of self-defense. This attorney is ridiculous!
I believe Sarah wanted her other lawyers to claim self-defense, that's why they cited ethical problems when the wanted to withdraw. They can't knowingly lie to the court.
Well he applied for the job for the fame as Sarah promised him
I’d have to agree with Sarah on this, and only this, single point: murdering your lover would indeed be traumatizing…but for her after a couple of hours it just becomes embarrassing. The police didn’t traumatize her. They said what she did OUT LOUD and it embarrassed her. Period.
No it humiliated her. The world has seen her nasty video and her taunting Jorge
Jury needs to see that video & hear the perfect, can do no wrong Sarah, rambling about doing EVERYTHING for Jorge. Couldn’t let him out of the suitcase, though.
He stated in the last hearing that he's now viewed the entire 2 hour video of her interrogation.
@@truthhurts2879she was cooked when Kraynick watched it!
“It was a really good day “
I'm glad to see Mr Bankowitz making lemonade out of this as a commentator. Sarah put him through hell for no reason. He's wise and experienced, and he's very engaging.
Yes. Yes. Yes. That was a Hail Mary pass and nothing short of outrageous.
I am looking forward to her "it was a good day" defense.
What a waste of money this trial is. Just a joke
I agree
No trial is a "waste of money."
@@UncleKennysPlace She has been through 8 attorneys and THEN made motions to have the trial thrown out cause of delays she caused. Was ordered to represent herself and then got her 9th attorney who is now putting more motions forward (all of these actions cost money). It's wasteful and postponing justice for the deceased and she should've never been able to delay trial for over 4 years and go through 8 attorneys. Waste of money.
Don’t block any evidence! She’s intentionally delayed this trial for years!
Yeah but I think they are going for the max on this one
Ironically I’m thinking the defense lawyer took this case for publicity…would you really want to be the ringleader for this clown show? I bet she will be convicted in less than 2hours. Nice publicity huh?😂😂😂😂
If he did he’s getting the wrong kind of publicity 😢😢
He's chasing a media career.
She really thinks she can outsmart everyone in the room.
jùstice for jorge 🙏 💜🙏
Justice for Jorge and his family!! Remember Jorge Sarah??? No you don't.
If the murdered victim was such a bad person and she was afraid of him then how did she get him to go into the suitcase? Her Lawyer is exactly like her two peas in a pod. She is charmed now and so happy with him because he agrees with her, she is a nut case and many other things.
Judge Michael Kraynick is finally Saying "No More," Ms. Boone.‼️😁
About time
When Judge Kraynick said to Owens, “last bite at the apple” I knew it was a wrap 😂😅
What a waste of time !! That was all Sarah forcing her attorney to file that!
She first says she went there to pick up her phone at a window, then she says in a little while she had a list of questions for the detectives. So which is it, Sarah, the phone or the questions?
And to top that off when Sarah was asked about Jorge’s injuries, specifically the scratches on his back, she said something to the effect that she had expected a question about the scratches. Revising history is difficult when everything is on video.
As soon as she mentioned picking it up at the window, I knew she'd screwed herself even more. She had that full paper front and center ready to fire off question after question at the Detectives when she thought she was going to be able to leave . I was surprised that the LawTube lawyer channels I watched covering this yesterday would have mentioned that immediately after she claimed that or at least people in their live chats. But, it seems to have gone over everyone's heads at the time.
@@Julia-uh4liyes and one of the questions on the list was “Am I getting my phone, or laptop” the detectives said no, it makes no sense that they would have said she could come get it in a call the night before. AND it was noticeable when they started speaking they talked about previous interactions but neither SB or the police mentioned a call the evening before. As the judge said- not credible.
Denied. Yes.
"Traumatized? When she talks about her trauma, she speaks about her dogs, her sons, her phone. She didn't mention being traumatized by losing Jorge.
Well, he did pay a bill “here or there” and looked for employment on the laptop.
😂. She’s such a liar!
😂 Oh Sarah! Which defence shall she choose? I think all of them! Quite hilarious! She just can’t keep her big mouth 🤐
She didn't stop talking while being interrogated
She didn’t stop talking when Owens had her on the stand, she screwed up and said she was hungover and drunk that morning
The first time I saw this I was yelling at the TV, "shut the heck up you fool!!!"
But they were just having a good night playing hide and seek…lolz
As one does 🤣😆🤣
Most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard 😂😂😂
@@juniordixie9489 I honestly have no idea how she even stated that without bursting into laughter.
I also like the part where she blames it on the wine.
Because every time I drink cheap wine I turn into homicidal maniac.
Not intentional battered wife syndrome 😅😂😅
god....I hope they're being careful with what's said...as to not give the defense any ammunition to claim a mistrial.
Sarah: me, me, me!
What kind of human would stand beside the case after they zippers it shut, listen to the person you put into it ask for help, kick that suitcase over, and claim they did not know what they were doing due to being intoxicated, just make no sense. That video is standard interview, and she could have at anytime lawyered up, she just thought she could talk her way out of what was on her phone as proof of her actions! Justice for the deceased
I loved how during her interrogation she was shocked when she found out that she had recorded that interaction while she was blackout drunk. She would have known then that she was truly cooked, if she wasn't the Narcissist she is.
Miss Straight A’s made a BIG mistake on this exam; she failed miserably and that is totally unacceptable to her.
She never once mentioned she was coming for her phone in the interrogation.
Instead she had it as topic 1 on her list to ask. That wouldn’t make sense if she specifically came to get her phone?
@@Iwoasasaned it wasn’t until after she had already done all the talking that she got to her list and asked “when will I get my phone back”. If she planned on just picking up her phone, she wouldn’t have come with a prepared list of questions lol
@@Standard_Trash81 that’s basically what I wanted to express 🥴
@@Iwoasasaned I know. I was just adding to it lol
@@IwoasasanedExcellent point!
She likes to waste time. Good thing she will have plenty of her own to waste away in prison.
You can tell in the first video Sarah had a hangover from hell.
If you're referring to when the police first showed up at her home, ABSOLUTELY! Most of us have felt like that at least once in our lives. She was a hot mess for sure. Begging for a drink of her, Dr. Pepper, haha. That's a super rough feeling that a LOT people might just be willing to pay $100.00 to quench that insane hangover thirst.
Wow traumatised😮so what about the guy in the suitcase how did he feel. Boone is ridiculous
Yes! Yes!
That's a relief. This case needs to be wrapped up.
Yes great news. I'm so glad the jury gets to see the interrogation.
they manipulated her into coming down to the station, which is not uncommon. people handing over their phones to cops is not unusual. ....i would never hand over anything to a cop without a warrant.
The justice process traumatized her! She was in shock that a Hide-and-Seek game was seen as a murder. She only went to the Police Station to pick up her phone (crime evidence) and thwart justice. But they lied to her, so that they could get additional evidence to more easily convict her w/ self-incriminating statements.
Oh, of course, that's why the first question on that paper was,
1) When can I get my phone back.
And that was after hours of interrogation on day #2! 🤪
Haha, I'm tired and slow today. I reread your post and see that you were being facetious. My bad 🫢
These interrogations directly contradict her entire supposed defense. Bye Sarah.
The current attorney is only getting along with Boone because he is doing what she wants and not what he believes is best for her.
Notice the stark difference in Loons voice on stand & in her interview or on that hideous video
I still don't see why Court TV chose to feature the attorney with the absolute worst track record of all 9 who've been on the case. The Bar Association has taken disciplinary action against Bankowitz on multiple occasions. I would have loved to hear commentary from Cashman or Hobson.
They probably didn’t want to be interviewed.
I guess they both understand that it's a bad look for an attorney that has been involved in the defense to comment (probably negatively) during an ongoing trial.
@@racheeeed That was my thinking as well. It's an odd tactic on his part. Not to mention it falls into the grey area of "attorney-client privilege"
Any truth to the mention that her lawyer isn’t licensed to practice in Florida?
He is fine to practise* law .. the website has changed apparently 😂lol ! Thankfully we are good to good for Monday 👍 *Euro/Uk spelling 😂
It was only because he hadn't paid his fees, which were likely just waiting to get updated in the system. It wasn't anything like misconduct. It's been talked about in a few different LawTube channels. And, not uncommon at all.
Sara perjured herself 😅
Many times
If she gets off on a technicality, I give up on the justice system!
What happened on the video was sickening to watch. But if her intent was not to kill, but rather to punish him and she thought he was 'crying wolf' when he said he couldn't breathe (per her words in her interrogation), then her attorney should be asking for manslaughter. Murder requires 'intent to kill.'
This was her best bet and had no chance lol. Cops don't tell you in advanced dear that you're going to get a serious interview usually lol.
Her attorney is coming up with the nonsense or going along with Sarah. Police would never get anyone to show up if given info in advance! Bottom line, her rights were read and she chose to speak
No wonder they made a desperate attempt to have the interrogation video suppressed. She said they had such a great day, did a bunch of fun activities, got "frisky", and that him being stuck and left in the suitcase was an unintentional accident. All of that makes the battered spouse defense much weaker. It's almost a complete opposite of what she said in the interrogation.
It doesn’t matter, she has to prove that he was abusing her!
I have no sympathy for her at all. But I wish he hadn't retaliated and walked away. My ex was abusive. I mean I'm lucky to be alive abuse. I was afraid my son would be physical. I was so happy when he told me. He would never hit his wife. Because he's stronger and would hurt her.i believe Sarah instigated everything. It was a game. So sad he didn't love himself enough to leave her. 😢
How does Sarah Boone keep that perfect bowl shape to her hair?? 😂
Sleeps with the bowl on 🤣🤣
@@jackiemcfarlane5320 from commissary, ofc 😆
She sang like a canary.
Does she have anyone from her family giving her any type of support? Visiting her in jail?
So if Sarah had the position of authority over Jorge then why did she rant about him cheating on her and not about him abusing her?
There was no real rant though. The video evidence lasted just over 2 minutes. She stated clearly that "Now you know how it feels when you choak me!"
That was more coherent than her slurring about a possible cheating that may have happened.
Closer to justice. I understand everyone has the right to a dedense, but I personally find her attorney unethical.
Intoxicated / hungover 🤔 thought she claimed sh only had a glass of wine
It must have been a 48 ounce glass.
E for effort! Think of the can of worms that would have opened had his ruling had been different! 😅
I recall her saying she could not get drunk ! So suddenly she's somehow hungover!!
Amazing Judge, bless him, he did a great job and was very professional in addressing all issues raised in regards to this case.
SB is more like an actress than a witness
We tell people alcohol does nothing positive for your body. She looks old for her age.🤔
So glad this trial is going forward. Justice for Jorge is long due.
She just Shulda shut up Her case is a 55 point underdog to win now it’s truly non winnable Only way she gets by is if the Prosecution screws up in an enormous epic failure At least she has an attorney
How she said she was afraid of his family such BS
Yeah, her Big Excuse was "I was hung over".
Well, the only time she hadn't been hung over for the preceding 5 years, had been when she was lying in the ditch drunk, so that was hardly news.
She also LIED over and over, on the stand. She lies instantly and with great ease.
But that's because she's been lying for decades.
However, she is just not used to being pinned to the ground over her lies. Not used to being faced with prosecutors who not only are not giving her the benefit of the doubt, but KNOW she's lying. Not used to having video of what ACTUALLY occurred being shown.
And she's only had about a month to work with her ambulance chaser of an attorney ("Sarah owes me") to sort out what lies to tell, and when to tell 'em.
Charlie Adelson had about two years to rehearse all his lies with his mother's OOPS, I mean HIS attorney. Jodi Arias had FIVE years to rehearse HER lies...and even so, with all that time, for all the major crime parts she had to fall back on the "oops, I seem to have forgotten that part...um ...PTSD...um....I was battered as a child....um....I was battered not as a child..." A defense "strategy" borrowed by Monica Kay.
All of them convicted for murder.
I REALLY hope that one day Sarah and Donna Adelson can share a cell.
Huis Clos, as it SHOULD have been written.
Huis Clos, I googled that, and I agree. A match made in hell.
Great comment!
👏👏👏👏
Audio enhancing technology is getting really good, cuz you could barely hear her in the original stream.
Can someone explain why Sarah's ex attorneys are allowed to comment on her? I would have thought that was against the rules.
He didn't divulge any of her info, known as his 'clients privilege' at all. And he has to see to it that he never does, at all, for the rest of his life. At least that's what the LawTube lawyers have said. He can commentate to his hearts content, but not say anything of her privileged info.
there is video of him in suitcase.....and her laughing about it.....duh
The years are not being kind to Sarah's face.
😅😅😅
They seriously has to be another commentator for this channel than this woman. I just can’t with her voice!😬
Her lies about still being intoxicated sure doesn’t comport with her prior statements about them not being very drunk. I think she said something about them sharing a bottle of wine. Regardless she is setting up an opportunity for the prosecution to impeach her credibility if she ends up testifying to that
I love Jorge‘s picture, he looks like a kind, man, nice eyes and a beautiful little smile😊
I don't think Sarah is trying to go for a defense of her being intoxicated when she left him to die in that suitcase, I believe shes trying to use the "I was hungover and still somewhat intoxicated, therefore anything I said when being questioned that morning should be inadmissible."
She knows how damaging her statements are and she's already tried to get them thrown out using the Miranda warning route and that failed so now she will likely try the "I was too drunk the next day to know what I was saying, so can we throw the statements I made out on the grounds of intoxication seen as the Miranda warnings have been been denied.
All irrelevant, Throw out all the statements and the Prosecutor will just produce the video she filmed of her doing this.
That's what I figured as well. Throw everything at the wall and see what sticks...🤷♀️
Desperate times call for desperate measures. So many old clichés to use here.
🤣
Bs,if I recall when the police showed up at the scene, bodycam on they asked her if she's drunk and she said no because they shared one bottle. Hilarious that a killer is crying unfair process as if this should allow her the right to walk free( ignore the video)
Sometimes Justice Prevails........
She's so guilty. She's evil. If she thinks she'll get away with this, it shows how crazy she is. Battered spouse??? So dumb! She needs to except what her future is, life in prison.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes!
Honestly, I would have been surprised if it wasn't denied. Talk about opening a whole can of worms if it were accepted
The cops are allowed to lie... As far as the whole phone ruse and all that coming to pick it up at the station that's standard they're allowed to do that
Nothing says "I'm innocent" like attempting to block key evidence.
She’s going to cause as much choas as possible and it’s beginning to look like her lawyer will too.
Can you just imagine being a cellmate with her for life? OMG 😮
Battered spouse syndrome? She let him die in a suitcase. She's wasn't running in fear from him when he accidentally fell into an open suitcase...
What a fool of a woman
Straight to jail
Her rights were read. Besides, she has been in jail before, so she knows her rights!
Right!
She wanted make~up and her hair!😂😂😂😂 done!
I am so sick of this beep beeping beeper beep beeppppppppppppppppppppppp! she is making all of you court judge lawyers look like fools and locking you all in a suitcase! Nail it already jeez!
She has been sitting in county jail for four years and avoiding the inevitable. she wasnt traumatized lol. I saw the body cam footage and completley chill
